Though he wasn't mentioned in this video, shoutouts to Thops the bluntstone. Dispite being ridiculed by many at the academy, he literally worked himself to death and developed a new class of sorcery worthy of a new conspectus of the academy.
We can only take comfort in the fact that his accomplishment will become well renowned, and people will laugh at those who mocked his brilliance. (It even says so on the spell’s description.)
You forgot about the most powerful sorcerer in the game... Rennala. Rennala is a witch, as Miriel would like to call her "The great and beautiful Full Moon WITCH." Her robe also states that it is to the highest order of Sorcerer. The epitome of Carian Sorcery is the full moon sorceries of Rennala and Ranni.
I think the banished red glintstone mages should be mentioned as abit of their own group. They did come from the Academy and it is a glintstone mage albeit banned. Note Sellen even sold the Briar of Sin spell in CBT
Also, with the Twinsage - they also use this thing called “Crystal Burst” which supposedly belongs to a group of sorcerers that like, look up to those blue crystal dudes. The group is called the Crystal Cadre, though the only Conspectus seen using their sorcery are the Twinsages.
It is stated in the twinsage glintstone crown description that the twinsage conspectus are permitted to practice any sorcery they want. This brings more questions as it means the academy is aware of this crystal cadre conspectus but never reference it once. What happened to it?
I’d be a Haima Battlemage. I know it’s only two spells, but they’re two of the most fun spells to use. Especially near cliffs and ledges. AND you get a yaba daba doo Club to use in your off-hand, for when your enemies aren’t worth the FP.
Sellians are the descendants of people from eternal city. I don't think they qualify as a conspectus but more as a different tradition of magic... and yes they use the same sorceries as Noxes do... for example the Night's Maiden Mist. Tho some Sellians travel to the academy and study there ... Lusat for example.

I would probably pick the Hierodas Conspectus. I feel like studying sorcery while traveling the world and learning from everything and everyone around me could be quite nice. The Hierodas Crown is also the one I actually use on my Character.
I have been curious about all of the death and magma sorceries. I read that they are both described as hexes, and they both have "rancor" spells. I know the briars of punishment spell describes a "blood star", so i wonder of there is some origin like that for death and magma sorceries. I also thought that maybe they are not connected to glintstone, but they are classified as sorceries none the less. Maybe that is just for gameplay purposes?
We can trace death sorceries to the death birds and the ghost flame. Magma are discovered by rykard in the depth of mouth gelmir but no confirmed origin
@@DonPetexX The Magma sorceries were literally (re)discovered by Rykard, but it seems they were ancient hexes practiced by inhabitants of the region. If you meant origin as in where the power comes from, the spell descriptions indicate the sorceries channel the fiery power of magma itself, if I remember correctly.
I really enjoyed this. It was a creative new point of view and presentation of already adored lore. Thank you very much for taking the time to make this for us Glintstone Kids.
Ayyyyy - thx :) And tbh I’m really into the Lazuli Conspectus, how they’re like, renegade Glintstone sorcerers that are like, obsessed with carina sword stuff as well as the moon, with Rennala respectively, as well as the stars - of course that’s Lusat.
I would chose the Haima Conspectus if I were in the Lands between, as lovely as the other conspectus magics seem to be. The power of Gavel and Cannonfire is enough for me. Plus, I agree with them seeing Seclusion as no way to foster discovery/growth.
Better than Hogwarts lol I think Lazuli since I like to summon weapons and to use them against my enemies. My inventory will appreciate the extra space for other stuff than weapons. Who wants to carry a bigass sword when you can summon one out of thin air and catch your foes unawares?
So why are those gavel of haima guys in the haligtree in the first place literally just realized the only beings in the haligtree are followers of Miquella
First, I thought the one who taught Radahn, was Alabaster Lord, not Onyx Lord? Second, the revelation of Renna as Ranni's master's name is BIG! If it's true, it now makes sense that two towers with both of their names exist. Great job of making the video. The best out here at making good quality content of Elden Ring Lore! 👍👍
I guess it would only make sense - we find the clothes of the Snow Witch in Renna’s rise. And of course when we first meet Ranni, she introduces herself as Renna.
The only thing I don't quite get with Ranni is, at the end of her questline, we do not put the ring on her hand. That is actually the Snow Witch Renna, that we put the ring on. Also why was the Sniw Witch body at a Two Finger Corpse?
I'm confused. Isn't Rennala Queen of both Raya Lucaria and the Carian Royal family? So how can the academy and royal family have such a .. bitter relationship?
Along with the other answer: It's because while Rennala was the one who became head of the Carian Royal family and led it into "greatness" (she was a hero/champion according to some aspects of the lore)- the academy just cares about magic and studies with zero inhibition. So because the Carian Royal family, when Rennala becomes head of the academy, starts imposing more rules and power over the academy... You can see why the academy wasn't very fond of the Carians. At least, this is what I can understand from the lore. Especially because the Carian Study Hall is a separate building that seems to have been used for learning magic and whatnot, hinting that the Carians may not have always been with the Academy.
@@gladiolus3173two words, Civil War There’s an unresolved civil war against the Carians, which is why we’re assaulted by magical artillery upon approaching Caria Manor.

The Academy should have been an NPC zone for players to interact and ally with.
There's only 1 safe zone, maybe after clearing the dungeon it gets expanded then
