Hey brother I've placed top3 in dozens of local tournaments and lived here my whole life. Me and dad sold our boats and when Goodyear closed were out of wrk. The road bed in the begging runs through R&S hunting club in Ragland Al. We were members of the club back when they ran dogs on it from 1997-2000 and I killed my 2nd deer and 2nd gobbler right on the edges of those banks. That road is literally paved all the way to the dam. I learned in 98 how to drive a stick shift on the hills of that road bed with my pawpaw in a 91 Ford bronco 2. You can see in the distance when u get back in the slough where it looks like a boat ramp and runs adjacent to the rock faced wall they used explosives on in fact only months before the 1957 intentional Alabama power flooding of Neely Henry and the story goes that the city of Ragland in St Clair county was given the coordinates to clear and pave the land adjoining the dam being constructed so the dump trucks would have a much faster and alternative route and were given plans on the job. I got some secret holes where we sunk cars and hundreds of stumps etc. if you want to call or text me I'll pass em on brother since we cant afford to fish anymore. Or if your local I'll take u to em. The top three teams were catching schooling fish. So look for shad jumping out the water and have your rattle trap ready. I can’t tell you where the fish was schooling because I did not find them but they said they was catching them two at a time. Good luck.
@@georgiadeerhunting8337 Man all you guys property is going to but nothing be clear cuts? No, they have not cut my woods yet. But I will see the weekend. I will be turkey hunting this weekend.

Plus start looking for bedding fish. The water temp was up to 59. I did hear one person say they seen a fish on bed.
