The Producers were one of the first bands to ride the MTV wave of success! This is a rare video! Please visit the band's official myspace page: myspace.com./heartheproducers
Just in case anyone else is checking this out in the year 2021, 13 years after it was posted. Rock on guys. Loving The Producers. Loving the nostalgia! I would have loved to have seen them back in the day. 🎵
Wow. My all-time favorite band and from a time when I thought no video was produced for the band. What a great surprise. Wow- Tim was just a kid in this video. Loved the wardrobe- totally cool then and now because they are... The Producers. Thanks for posting this.
The song about Dianna is called What she does to me from the first album. It is a great song with a great bridge. This past week in my car I keep listing to depending on you over and over again. This song is great and the guitar lead is one of my favorites.
I got to see them perform live at Screamin' Willies in Columbus, Ohio. I managed to get a guitar pick from Kyle Henderson (one of the lead vocalists) at the end of the show. Great performance that I still remember to this day.
Saw them live in Tallahassee. don't remember the year but I do remember they were the first band I saw with wireless instruments. Boy did they work the crowd.
this song was on their 3rd album called, "Run for your Life." it came out in 1985. I have a copy of it. it's a pretty good album. they were a great band that never quite got over the hump! they deserved better! saw them play about 10 times! the bass player on this album is Tim Smith, who now plays with Sheryl Crow.
In the early 80's they played the Strand theatre in Sunbury Pa. They were a good band. They told me they played the Ritz in NY the night before and were playing their way back to Georgia or something. They did a good show for about 75 people at the Strand.
Love these guys though I gotta admit that they went middle- of- the- road when the great Kyle Henderson left. Love their first two albums the best. Great powerpop!
This band had a lot of great songs ......This IS NOT one of them. In fact its a terrible song. It screams of some record company executive demanding they put out some kinda "in the moment" cliché pop song to push to the marketplace. Sorry, but fact.
Can we give Van Temple some guitar slinger credit? He is a KILLER player as well as singer, songwriter!
TREMENDOUS band. I saw them 9 times in the 80's
Screwed over by the record companies, Al Teller of MCA records. S.O.B.
The Producers are awesome. One of the all time best bands. They heavily influenced my band and music. Thanks guys. Eddie

A good song from the band. I cant believe it only has 6152 hits. Thanks for the post.

Thanks for the post. Never seen this one before. Great band.

How Famous is Wayne? 😂
Early iphones
Many other great songs on this "casette"- i.e. Table for One, Waiting on a Train, etc.
Van and Wayne, nice puffy shirts. Had never seen this before.
yup, sure was.
Sounds very John wait ish. Even looks like him😂
Did they do a song called Dianna. I seem to remember one and thought they did it, can't find out. Anyone know? If you have it, could you post it.
The song, off their debut album, is entitled "What She Does to Me."
2:51 The first i-phone?
I tunes . What's up with those fluffy shirts ?
Love this band , but this song, not so much.
Love these guys though I gotta admit that they went middle- of- the- road when the great Kyle Henderson left.
Love their first two albums the best. Great powerpop!
Kyle WAS good; but Van carried the band. I think Kyle thought he was more valuable than he really was. It was CBS Portrait that screwed them over.
@@sulatlalaki You've got a point there-many similar bands wound up on labels who didn't have much muscle. 20/20 is another band that comes to mind..

Sorry, but fact.
Just your opinion.💤
