- Prepare for a lot of carnage with this short video of me and wingman @ezee47 flying in Enigma Cold War server in the A-10a. Since we push some mud and take out enemy fighters, i start to feel the Hog is the best multirole jet in the server - just kidding. Enjoy!

Before people start to correct me about what is a multirole jet, i want to say the title was chosen on purpose just to get you guys thinking and appreciate the role of A-10 in this server, i haven't include antiship & SEAD mission which is possible that i haven't got the chance to execute & record 😢

Hahaha. Oh yes, if for the bluefor my go to jet is always the A-10 & heli is Uh-1 Huey, but lately i like to fly the Gazelle alot especially doing deep strike mission.
You should try the Gazelle bro, im sure you can make good video out of your sortie
Im with you man... Used to fly the Hind a lot, but truth be told I am way more effective in the A-10A and Huey on Bluefor. Great video as always!
Oh yes, somehow Hind always get targeted by fast mover a lot. I can spot a hind easily from very far compare to others helicopter. Then i will swoop in for the kill
@@Rodz88 i have exactly the same experience. In the Hind i am a big fat target. Dont get me wrong, love the Hind, but without good CAP its hard to do A2G. Meanwhile in the Huey, i was shot down maybe 2 times? Rest was crashing do to pilot error. Flying the huey, thanks to its small size and slow speed, makes it very hard to spot especially when flying low and using trees as background cover. When there is CAP and i fly the Hog i tend to stay low, use pop up attack, and the IR of the maverick to scan horizons for enemy.
Give the ka-50 a go. But the a-10 is still better ;)

Go fly the thing often and soon enough you'll realise you're getting good kxlls even on fighters 🎉🎉🎉
yes, the best way to learn is by experienced. keep flying it in multiplayer server, dont afraid to commit to a dogfight if needed. you need the hands on experience, slowly you will learn your strength & weakness so as the enemies. you will notice you have use different tactic to fight different enemy jets

It's funny... I practiced in the SU-27 and F-5 for 4.5 months and finally got my first A2A kill on a player flown M-2000 on the Contention server....... in the A-10A. Lol.
Can i ask? Im pretty new to cold war. When I tried to Rearm my A 10 with mavericks on an airfield i spawned at. it didn't let me(unable to compy). Is it that that specific airfield was too close to the front or what was the problem. And how do I identify enemies from friends? by the airframe?
Yes & no. Sometimes switch to another vacant jet will fix that. I still don't know why, i experience the same in helicopters spawn on the FARP too.
1. Make sure engine off and all that.
2. Go on F10 map and check if the map is not neutral, sometimes they become neutral from heavy enemy attack.
3. Might be a bugged slot or airbase.

Yeah. Don't commit to a turn fight with A-10. I killed a lot of fishbed making that same mistake

Nice footy, but I must say, a bunch of shiite fast jet pilots ... Just drop the nose and select full a/b ... No A-10 can ever catch you ... 🎉🎉🎉
I agree with you, im not sure why they still want to commit in the fight especially in low speed turn fights it is the main strenght of A-10 fast jets just gotta get out of the way.
If i was flying the MiG-21 & sense the pilot is pretty good, i just leave him alone 🤣😂🫣
