People (including Vlad, I see) have already told you that it's Andrey making the high pitched sound. If I'm recalling correctly, he was mimicking the sound a vacuum cleaner makes to get that high pitched whine. 😄 It is such a cool and unique addition to their song. I have thoroughly enjoyed Free Your Life in every version that I've heard which is a testament to how brilliantly this song was composed, written, and performed. Helium is the one. Absolutely no one in the bbx scene is like him. Yeah, some beatboxers are super technical, perhaps even more technical than him. But his entire sound selection, clarity, cadence, power, mic tech - all works so well and makes him unique and irreplaceable in such band as YA NA HA, in my humble, layman opinion. I absolutely love Improver, he's in my top3 fav beatboxers of all time, but I really hope the band would make more songs with Helium (as far as I know, 2 more are reconded. ETA: who knows). All 5 of them would be even better. But I think, Taras is hellbent on keeping it simple, and run with 4 members.

This studio version of Free Your Life was promised once the channel reached 5k subs and they not only kept their promise but they provided a true, as you said, masterpiece. Each individual of the group brings such unique talent to the song and it all blends so seamlessly. Andrey's vocals, Vahtang's bass and vocals, Helium's drums and harmony, then Taras coming in to make the song sound full with so many sounds like bass, percussion, vocals = perfection!
