*I'm not gonna lie....when I first saw the basilisk in this movie, I had the same reaction Ron had with Aragog. (side note: I am NOT fearful of snakes or spiders). Also, every time I hear Hermione say "She's a little sensitive" to describe Moaning Myrtle, I always have the same first thought: A LITTLE sensitive?"* *Side note: I always have the thought of "Harry's lucky Fawkes clawed out the Basilisk's eyes, otherwise that rock trick in the tunnel wouldn't have worked at all", combined with "Don't you dare sneeze, Harry"*
The basilisk is really scary at first! Moaning Myrtle is such a drama queen, I absolutely LOVE her, she cracks me up every time! For sure, Fawkes saved Harry’s life more than once!
@carolreacts I forgot a detail: The basilisk in the Chamber Of Secrets was most likely a female, since males are described as having a scarlet red plumage on their heads and this one didn't have it.
Oh, that’s such an interesting detail! I never knew that about the plumage difference-thanks for sharing! It makes me appreciate how much thought went into the magical creatures in this world. The basilisk is terrifying either way, but now I’ll be thinking about that fun fact every time I rewatch it! 😊
@@carolreacts It shocked me too, but it would make sense. A lot of creatures in fantasy and in reality have gender differences that make it easier to tell what they are. (Male African lions having a mane, male orcas having a taller dorsal fin, most male birds having more vibrant color than females like the peacock, etc.)
The "this is Voldemort right now bit" when Harry is writing his name really got me 🤣
😅 Voldemort was probably 🤯🤯🤪👿
I Love Harry Potter. This is a classic for my daugther ❤
One of my favourite Harry Potter movies! Great reaction!
Thank you! 😊
Amazing vídeo Carol! I love HP2! 😍💙

Hahaha That’s definitely not how I feel sometimes, but thank you so much! 😊
In the novel Hagrid explains that Lockhard was the only one who applied, so Dumbledore doesnt had an alternative.
That makes SO MUCH SENSE!
This is my favourite Harry Potter movie!! 😍
I really enjoyed watching this one! It’s such an eventful movie!
Amazing ❤❤❤❤

Another great reaction! The plot convinieence comment is so true. But I honestly don’t care. This movie is so nostalgic:)
True! It’s such a nostalgic and magic movie! It warms my heart

Did you know that Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) also voiced the Basilisks voice in the tubes?
I had no idea 😱
