Questions on the fluid sight gauge: I had my tractor serviced before winter. Used it a few times unhooking backhoe & brush hug. lost just little fluid. Not many hours (60. So going to use for this summer now, checking fluids, and the fluid is so clear wither I dont have any fluid or its so full there is no bubble. No way to tell. I used a 12” straw pipe clearer to stick in and measure the fluid IN THE TRANS refill hole under the seat. I got almost NO fluid unless it was 10”. So I added fluid. no change. Ended up adding 2 gallons, no change at sight gauge. Took out 2 gallons or so, no change at gauge. I dont like this as I can’t tell what is needed!
HI I also have T264 when you added fluid to the transmission i noticed the oil sight gauge did not show full , my does not show at all with 7 gallons installed did yours ever come up to the full mark. Thanks Mike
That isn't difficult at all. However, I must warn, after I reinstalled the shaft I have had some issue with it coming apart on its own and have had to hook it back up 3 or 4 times since.
