@@maniswolftoman How about “Living Legends”, is that better? I love Conan but that comment you made about Conan low key made me laugh. Why you gotta do bro like that 😅
Smigel's Schwarzenegger impression takes me right back to college. I used to watch Late Night every night. Probably haven't heard that impression in 20 years.
Dana (and possibly his son) came into my place of work yesterday afternoon to pick up some pizza. Really nice guys! Love you Dana, thanks for making me feel star struck for the rest of the day!
I can remember being a little kid, 1990 or so, in a department store with my mom and seeing a Saturday Night Live calendar on a calendar rack and it being Hanz and Franz on the cover and wanting it sooooooo bad.
I'm enjoying the script. I was a huge Hans and Franz fan back in the day. My friend and I recorded an unnecessarily long outgoing message as the characters. Let's see if I can remember the gist: "Hello. I am Hans. Ja! Und I am Franz. And we're just here to answer [clap] the phone. Jill and Teri aren't here right now, but if you leave a message now, they'll play it back later and listen to it a week from Thursday. Ja, und if you aren't a puny little girly man, maybe Jill and Teri will call you back. Ja, but then again, if you were a puny little girly man, you probably couldn't even lift the phone in the first place. Ja, und if you tried, you would break your puny little girly-man toothpick arm. But enough talk. We're not here to talk. We're just here to answer [clap] the phone."
Conan’s in his element in the podcast series. Only thing missing are the remotes, video game reviews, Jordan segments and product reviews. Bring those back.
I’m sorry, everytime Arnold pops up in this script, I instantly imagine a TV being rolled in with a static shot of him and those Clutch Cargo lips. Thanks, Mr. Smigel😊
Keeping the visuals on budget and getting maximum Arnold participation... I think this would make a fantastic animated film. Also, you could easily keep it in its 1991 setting.
It was, obviously, protein, and wheat germ products, derived from land, that had been plowed, by muscular glistening oxen, which have been rubbed down with tanning oils, and fed by irrigation, that has, at its source, a spring that cracks through the bedrock, with the force of 10 volcanoes, and then moves into rapids, and water rises (because waterfalls are for the lazy), and reaches its eventual termination, at a lake of the tears, of those who couldn't handle the competition...and some chocolate...but, mostly, all of those other things I mentioned.
I never quite warmed up to the Hans and Franz skits but I am absolutely loving this discussion and table read. It's mind-blowing to see such comic minds together.
Also, I recently discovered Arnold exercise at the Olympia Gym on Fresh Pond Road NY across from my street of Linden Street. My family moved in '69 but I can't help wonder now whether he was there during that time. Mind blown.
This has me laughing hysterically. I don’t know if this as a movie would of made a lot of money. But it would of had an amazing cult following. You guys are great.
Dana....Kevin.......Conan......Robert......Thanks Boys for all the great laughs!!!!!! Hans and Franz was pure MAGIC and myself and my friends use to trade Hans and Franz Barbs all the time!!!!!
This is a great series of vids. I can't wait to see more! I love the multiple Arnold impressions simultaneously interacting with each other. This needs to get made into a film!
So in the animated version of this podcast, there has to be a scene before Hans and Frans meet Arnold where hes interrupting Johnny Carson's cocktail meal and Leno shows up.
You know... there's no reason that we couldn't do some hand-drawn & rotoscoped vignettes... except for my long-term weed-vaping habit. (Sorry. I swear I started out with a real idea but sometimes the quip-demons have other ideas)
I feel like Arnold's career has come full circle enough that his schedule should be cleared for this. Would be quite a Magnum opus. It would also keep Kevin off the streets and only delay Conan's transition to Twitch-streaming co-op DOTA with Blayert.
Smigel could say anything in his Arnold voice and it'd be funny. A good riff on Arnold's earliest film roles would've been if they'd had all his dialogue dubbed by Smigel doing an even thicker accent than Arnold's actual voice.
Hilarious… Change sausage to Wiener schnitzel (credit to Arnold from his appearance), more German/Austrian words/references and a Werner Herzog cameo (relative) saying “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo”
Back in the war times were really tough. They had to conserve everything, even mass and gravity. Dirt, Rocks, logs all were made much lighter then. A pound of granite only really contained 7 or 8 ounces. It’s not like today where kids really privileged and grow up with ample supplies of weight in the world. And talk about flying in weight, man the shipping costs are ridiculous. They charged based on how heavy the package was.
"He sadly does a rep with the casket" - Pure poetry
"Families struggled to stay pumped" is my favourite throwaway line so far
i need a visual of that
Ha!
“Food and weights were hard to come by.”
I love how supportive Robert is of Conan and keeps pointing out his influence on the script and jokes.

A room full of legends. Thank god for Conan’s podcast 🙌🏽

love that you can hear sona laughing in the background
Robert's Jay Leno is killing me
I love hearing Sona bust out laughing in the background. It’s the best.
16:22 "families struggled to stay pumped" that got me XD
"He sadly does a rep with the casket" LOL
I'm still picturing the scene in the first episode with the tandem bicycle that gains a seat every time they decide to bring someone with them.
Dana (and possibly his son) came into my place of work yesterday afternoon to pick up some pizza. Really nice guys! Love you Dana, thanks for making me feel star struck for the rest of the day!

I loved that ❤️ Sona kept laughing about the glute door, splitting to open.

Amazing ❤
This script is original and really funny! It definitely has the vibe of a comedy classic, but it really can only work with Arnold and no one else lol.
No Arnold!
I think you mean AGHNULD
Conan’s in his element in the podcast series. Only thing missing are the remotes, video game reviews, Jordan segments and product reviews. Bring those back.
Now that was funny! Shout out to Sona for laughing in the background! I feel and believe she is representing us commoners. 😉

I love how there were 11 chocolate covered things on the table then like 20 seconds later there were 3 😂
Nearly every time the camera switched to Kevin, he was popping something in his mouth, lol.

This 2 parter is one of the best episodes! Some really good laughs!
Watching SNL in the 80s and 90s was the best. I love being able to hear this movie script reading.
About 14 minutes in it's just four guys exchanging Arnold impressions.😂😂
I like that every character in the film, so far, is essentially an impression of Arnold Schwarzenegger, to one degree or another.
Some children are lifting tiny weights. It was during the war, food and weights were hard to come by.… So funny. This would probably be a hit movie.

@@WillBravoNotEvil lol. Ive been thinking about sketching up storyboards, but Im no animator.
Arnold's "old country" backstory reminds me of Dr. Doofenshmirtz's flashbacks to his childhood in Phineas & Ferb.
This series may well be the apex of this channel.
OMG, I finally figured out who Smigel's impression of Arnold sounded like. He's a dead ringer for Londo Mollari from Babylon five.
Just playing it out in one's head while they read it off is magical lol. I'm kind of imagining it as a cartoon.
Arnold is an icon 😂 every comedian has an impression of him
The world need this now on so many levels.
This seriously could be an animated thing. Or if they use de-aging on Arnold for the Ellis Island part.
Perfect solution is animated. Good call.
This would have been my all time favourite movie
I commented this on part 1 and repeat it here. MAKE THIS MOVIE!
They are gonna end up getting Arnold to at least do a reading of some of this. I feel it.
Been waiting all week for this!
This whole thing works better with Smigel's version of Arnold than it would with the real one
As much as I love Arnold I agree. Another reason why this should be an animated movie.
Don't forget the hit holiday classic, Jingle All The Vey
My favorite people I have never met.
12:24 Jay Leno, what are YOU doing here?! 😂
Please make this movie there’s no reason it can’t be made. It’s even funnier that everybody is older
Oh how the world needs this movie right now! Please make it guys! Thanks for the funny table read. :D
I make animations as a hobby... i'm seriously considering using your podcast audio to make an animated film once it's complete.
DO it! I work in TV and Radio and have done some ADR work before. I can do some voices...get in touch and Ill do it gratis.
@@tsgorman thanks, but I'd rather use the podcast audio. Their delivery is gold
Smigel did that himself for his RealAudio SNL series
That's awesome. I commented earlier that this should be made into into an animation better yet a claymation I'm absolutely hooked
For some reason the ever-expanding tandem bicycle cracks me up.
This is so much fun. I’d see it for sure. Thanks for always making my day, Conan.
The fact that Arnold signed off on the movie should warrant a live action movie
They must have been in hysterics writing this script. Wish they made it.
I would love for this to be made even a cartoon movie
I hope it gets done fr. A team coco/ happymaddison production.
I want to see the scene where Arnold is carrying his grandfather's casket😂

"Families struggled to stay pumped."
Man, what I would give to see Arnold actually say that line.
I miss this old Lampoon's/SNL style of movie. The flashback to Arnold's childhood just has a classic scene transition and tone to it.
My new favorite weekly videos. Conan PLEASE come to SDCC this year!!
Ok, part 2 was way better than part 1. Can’t wait for part 3.
Arnold would definitely consider it now. They should have planned to release this right after his documentary.
AWESOME! Added bonus... Triumph as Arnold!
Almost 1am - done with my presentation prep for tomorrow aka today and found this. Thanks 🙏 I am so excited to wind down with this
The fact that we were deprived of this movie being made is a swift kick in the balls

I laughed so hard at this I drooled.
This will still work today!!!
Kevin does the best arnold. Feel bad for everyone else in the room.

They might be able to find a way to still make it funny, but this script had to have Arnold at his absolute peak, not 75-years-old Arnold.
