Becaus of the lack of sun the bigger part of the year we all get some what of a lack of vitamin d this time of year. Actually mostly all need to add it to their diet this time of year. Sesonal depression might occur and other nasty things as well with the lack of sun.

Slask and ice is the worst! This winter so far has been "Oh wow look at how much snow has come!", then 2 hours later it all melts, then 2 hours later it's all freeze. Can't even count the amount of times I thought I'd die walking around Södermalm xD
Good advice for American winters, too. ;) I'm in upstate NY and it sounds pretty much like my winter. LOL at the end of the video. :D Yep, every day of winter is one day closer to spring.

If you have spent a winter in Stockholm, then maybe by now you understand why Swedes in general are obsessed with the sun during springtime? December, in Stockholm: The sun goes up at 8:45, sets at 14:50...
I’ve lived in Stockholm my whole life and in the winter I still wear my Stan Smiths hahahah, I also wear pants that show my ankles, so I don’t really dress appropiately
Never would have thought of shoes! Thank you! Omg... the sled! How adorable!!!! Would be cool to just ice skate to work and everywhere! Just kidding... being 🙃 silly.
Isn't the winter way rougher if you live in the midwest, New England or Upstate New York etc. than any of the 3 bigger Swedish metropolitan areas? Sure it is darker but I don't think it gets colder than any of those places. I live in Gothenburg and haven't worn a hat at all this Winter. Good video! I would also add downing d3 vitamins!
Dude. Love your videos and as a fellow American in Sweden I make sure to support. Just have to point out that the US is ENORMOUS and the Swedish winter, at least here in Stockholm isn’t that bad comparatively to lots of places I lived in back home. I even took 40 Swedes to NYC one December and some literally cried when we got out of the airport because of how cold it was. Keep up the videos but please remember that you have a very specific experience where you’re from that doesn’t reflect the entire country.
His Majesty the King of Sweden's letter: "I was captive in Poltava. This was a way of death for me, I was saved. Danger occurred more powerfully before Dnyester River; there was water before me, enemy behind me, and the sun sprewing out hells... Water claimed to suffocate me, enemy claimed to cut me into pieces and the sun claimed to melt me; I was again saved. However I am a captive today, I am the captive of the Turks. They did me what the iron, heat and water could not do, and they captivated me. Merely there is no chain on my leg, I am not in a prison; I can do whatever I want... However this time I am the captive of tenderness, nobility and kindness. Turks embrace me with this diamond affection. I want you to know how sweet is to live among a nation that is this much generous, noble and kind as an independent slave." Charles XII, was the King of Sweden from 1697 to 1718. He belonged to the House of Palatinate-Zweibrücken, a branch line of the House of Wittelsbach. Charles was the only surviving son of Charles XI and Ulrika Eleonora the Elder. Charles' subsequent march on Moscow met with initial success as victory followed victory, the most significant of which was the Battle of Holowczyn where the smaller Swedish army routed a Russian army twice the size. The campaign ended with disaster when the Swedish army suffered heavy losses to a Russian force more than twice its size at Poltava. Charles had been incapacitated by a wound prior to the battle, rendering him unable to take command. The defeat was followed by the Surrender at Perevolochna. Charles spent the following years in exile in the Ottoman Empire.

Could also be seasonal affective disorder, you can have it in both winter and summer
Hmm that's really interesting actually. Maybe you've got the true northerner blood. I've got two much German, French, and Italian blood in me to like the super cold weather haha
Stefan does the cold weather affect your camera in anyway? The tips you gave can even help us here in the freezing cold in North Eastern Pa. Have a good weekend ( Judy )
as a person who came from the upper east coast of the states and lives in deep northern europe these temperature are nothing we have the same climate
Long Johns and drink more to combat the winter depression and you're good!
In Norrköping almost all snow has melted❄️
good channel,i will suscribe....good advices to survive winter in sweden...i hope i can visit soon
And you're saying this now, when spring has come! =D
Winter in Stockholm is such a breeze, please come to Norrland (Skellefteå) when it's -28°C
Now -33°C in Norrland🥶🥶🥶
The winter in Stockholm is still chill
I just love your videos you are a lovely UA-camr just have to say it.
Great job Steven, be possetive 😊👍🏻
Hey Stefan. I love watching your videos! Do you have a video on what gear u use to make your videos? Cameras etc.
I pretty much use my A7III for everything :)
@@StefanThyron Thanks! Well that seems like a nice cam. Keep up the good work:)
And i always wear shorts... and hav only had a jacket on once this winter... It's enough with a fleecewest over a t-shirt...
Going to Stockholm in a couple weeks I am more nervous now and I am from the desert
Have you bin to Skellefteå becuse itś like -20 and one and a half meter snow
His Majesty the King of Sweden's letter:
"I was captive in Poltava. I want you to know how sweet is to live among a nation that is this much generous, noble and kind as an independent slave."
Charles XII, was the King of Sweden from 1697 to 1718.
