    Thanks. I have been looking for something like this for days. How to put together a flat puppet that is articulated. Trying to figure out how to do this with while recording from the front. Meaning the puppet would not be a shadow puppet but like having articulated paper puppets and having the audience seeing the puppets moving from the front... I will check out your other videos.

    This is amazing. I have recently started creating these myself, and just heard about Bradshaw. I'm hoping to get his book from the press company. However, until then, could you possibly make a video showing a close up of how you managed to fit the four bar system in such a small space? My channel has my starting attempt at the medium, if you're curious curious check it out. Thanks for making these videos! I've been trying to figure it all out on my own, and it looks like vlad the impaler's arts n crafts time lol. I'm using bamboo skewers instead of tacks for my joints, as well as hot gluing the skewers as control rod

      Thanks, Adam! I'll try and get a video up soon detailing how to make that compact 4 bar linkage and some tips on wire joints.
      Keep up the good work on your channel!

      I'm really curious as to how bamboo skewers workout collection points. I'll check out your work... just starting to put the stuff together... Pun intended. Sorry if this isin the wrong place.

    Super interesting video. I can always appreciate art forms that I know nothing about and then all of a sudden I find my interest getting pulled into it.

      Yes! A really fun art rabbit hole to fall down is scale model diarama building for model railroads.
      The Cardboard Robot Assistant had to be temporarily shut down by the FCC after the bitcoin heist malfunction, but we hope to make the necessary fixes to get it up and running again soon.

    Do you know the technique how the shadow puppet opens the mouth and at the same time it shakes his arm ???If yes can you do that in a video

    • @AlexAndOlmsted
      @AlexAndOlmsted  3 роки тому

      I would probably design it in the same way I linked the arm and head movement @5:22 , but instead of the whole head moving it would just be the lower jaw. Does that make sense?
