Some of my favourite composition work from any video game and such excellent writing, especially from 5:06 while the Island flips. I found it interesting that you use changing meters as a written rubato of sorts between some sections! Never noticed that before. And love how you use leitmotifs throughout all these event pieces. For years I thought nothing would beat the Chapter 1 finale for me in terms of music but this is amazing. Thank you so much!
This score is amazing! Easily one of the best scores in Fortnite, it made the End event so much more greater. (Also the part that plays during the island flipping over is so beautiful!)

just curious, in terms of fortnite live event music, how long does it take to make these tracks compared to when an event goes live? like how many months before the event do you start working on the music for it?
Finally, I can listen to the music that plays during the cutscene! There were many other sound effects during the event and they drowned out the music a bit! I thank you for that!
The theme inside of IO base, really captures what IO should sound like, the rest is too amazing! (I LOVE THE PARTS THAT ARE FROM IO ATTACK WHEN IO GUARDS ARE RUNNING) THANK YOUUUU
This was the first true live event I attended (Zero Crisis Finale doesn't count as it's a single player event), and it was the best way to close out Chapter 2. The Soundtrack to this and many other events are so phenomenal. Keep up the good work!
This was the greatest fortnite event ever in my opinion, thanks in no small part to the incredible score. Chills every time. Still sad that we never got a lobby version for this. Great job to you and your team!

Were parts of the score supposed to be missing at crotchet = 76? Or are you just making it more of a reductionist score and not including some elements in the video
With the i.o gone, for now... we saved everything....but after a few months the seven has gone missing...I think its time for us loopers to save the seven...after what they did to save us...

its the motif for chapter 3 it plays here as soon as jones flips the island to chapter 3 the chapter 3 main theme uses this theme and the first chapter 3 event (collison) plays this

Gotta agree. In my opinion, for music, this game's use of leitmotifs is up there with BOTW and Undertale/Deltarune.

I am dying to know, what instrument is used at 5:40? I can’t seem to figure it out.
The sound that slides upwards? Those are a few passes of guitarviols (not in the score notation as they were not part of the orchestra).

I’m pretty sure almost none of it is using an app, it’s all actual instruments.

Phil Boucher said in a previous interview he uses Finale for score iirc. And in another, he said he uses real players for music.

Forget the old music, the themes for the Seven and IO easily surpass chapter 1 music. People are just blinded by nostalgia

This is just the orchestra's parts. There are a lot of additional synths, guitars, and production elements not included in the notation.
