Along with the conclusion Boracity makes, I think the bottom line to me also is: TRUST that the 7 members of BTS are doing exactly what THEY want to do. And if that doesn't align with what YOU want for them, question why that bothers you. Respect that they are in charge of their own career choices, not you. I think it's a waste of energy to even think there is any type of sabotage, conspiracy, favoritism or anything negative when it comes to promotions by HYBE/BigHit and their support of them. Cuz, WHY? Why would that EVER be? Not a logical suspicion at all.
Jhope didn't want physical album. But later he released it because fans complained so much. He wanted to released a physical album at a later date.
For me, what they were doing in this solo era is divide and conquer. They know who can do what...they've been working and living together for a long time. They do everything for a reason. Need to keep in mind that the activity they have now is supposed to happened earlier if not because of covid. It's not some overnite plan.
I feel this is what need to be done if you want to have an epic comeback after the military.

The reason Face and D-Day got released so close to each other was that Yoongi had to push back his album. He was supposed to release it at the beginning of the year before Jimin but he was struggling to finish writing the songs. His album got rescheduled to April to allow Yoongi to finish the album and do the filming and preparations for it. He couldn't release it later to allow Jimin to have longer promotions because the tour started at the end of April and fans needed time to listen to it before. I wish Jimin would've had more time but unfortunately, they had to fit D-day between face and the tour. I do think that Jimin made the most out of the time and he even continued releasing things after.

Not only that, but Jimin also said (I don't remember where now) Face release was delayed too because it took a little more to finish the songs and production. Iirc it's supposed to be out on Feb, not sure. Both of them (and the others) did what they could with the time they had.
Alot of people dont know their solo era and military service got pushed back because of the pandemic. This all should have happened already .
The service got pushed back because Korean politicians made a new law to allow the delay (they did *not* want BTS to go but also refused to make it possible for them not to go at all). The law is so unqie that only BTS qualifies which is why it was nicknamed "BTS Law".
Some fans dont think logically. The main goal of any label is to make money.
Bts have such a treasure collection of songs that r timeless. The messages r important to any age n generation because the issues r universal.
The only thing i will say is Army stop whining. They have gifted us with beautiful music for ten years. They since they first debuted invited us into their world. When they first made music, they stuck TILL this day to make music that speaks to their stories, personality, thoughts, views of life, & musical color. Always being versatile & open minded. They have always been about the art first. It was explained well that of course as artists theres nothing wrong with desiring the numbers but they always explain that its the art first & them wanting to show who they are & their growth. REMEMBER, we ran to BTS because they found us when we needed them. But they know that its Army that gave them this beautiful life. Its time to be respectful & loving unto them. They are not the same guys ten years ago. THEY ARE GROWN ADULTS. All of their solo works had one common thread: MATURITY. Respect their artistry & STOP molding them into what YOU want them to be. Love them for who they truly are & be humble to see that they loved us this much to give us so much even on a so called hiatus. BORAHAE!

Puppies are crazy it's the same as having a 'toddler' we use that term here in the UK for when a child who's just learnt to walk it's insane you have to be constantly watching what they are doing while try to teach them. I think ''Some Army's'' have to think that without the covid pandemic, BTS wouldn't have been able to achieve those 6 Hot 100 numbers. 'Dynamite' was released because they wanted to cheer people up. Some intelligent will get that after dynamite and savage love 'Life Goes On' was also a Korean pandemic album. Most important because of Covid their military plans changed and the success of Dynamite, LGO. Butter and PTD also played their role in planning other things. Coldplay collaboration also happened during the lockdown. So, now think a little Jimin 'Face' album talks about how he feels during the lockdown.

If you think about strategy for solos, they make music THEY like and bring in new fans in that genre. They ALL have said that their main priority is BTS. So in 2025 when they come back together they will bring in the new fans from those different genres. Can you imagine the fandom then? I keep commenting that if other Koop groups want to make their mark, 2024 is your chance. Cuz when they come back .....ooohhh...,no one will be able to crack them. It will be🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥!!!
me and my sisters talk about this all the time and how smart BTS is when it came to their promotions and different sounds, and other groups can still shine while they can now because when BTS comes back it a wrap
The guys are all very different and they have said that many times. So how they choose to promote their solo work will also reflect that. I don’t see any favoritism at all. I think maybe solo stans feel some type of way but if we look at the their music choice you can’t expect promotions to be the exact same.

I love your reaction, as you said they are grown men. They are no longer the teenagers of 11 years ago. Jungkook has always loved pop music, he has always listened to it and almost all the covers he has done are songs by Western artists and are in English, so why are people surprised or shocked ?! Then as you said the explicit version of 'Seven' is cat's pee (it means that it's nothing) compared to other songs and the MV is clean, well done and fun. Jungkook is tired of being infantilized no matter what he says or does. In 2014, he talked about tattoos. In 2015-2016, he said he wanted to show a sexier side of him and develop his muscles, he was impatient to become an adult. In 2018, he said in an interview that he cut his hair to look cute because ARMYs love that but he wanted ARMYs see him as a manly man and not as a kid. He took into account the opinions and criticisms of ARMYs for many years and he began to free himself little by little since 2019 and now he is detaching himself from the opinions of others. He and Yoongi aren't that different, except that Yoongi has never given a damn about other people's opinions. But when it’s Jk who says it, people take it badly and act “shocked”. In 2021, he said something like "I'd like to say something to all my haters/those who don't like me.... So what?!" during the PTD concert. All that to say he has always been getting hate and criticisms for nothing, just out of jealousy and in my opinion because his personality and tastes are very different from others so people can't keep him in a little box.
And it's the same for BTS in general when they change/evolve their sounds. As you said, they can't please everyone and if people don't like it, they should just not listen to the song(s) and move on. Even friendly-family-good vibes-meaningful songs are not always appreciated and no one forces anyone to listen to them...
Otherwise, for the rest, they did the promotions they wanted to do and in line with the target audience, nothing more and nothing less. But people always blame Bighit, HYBE or ARMY because their bias/fav doesn't have the same success as others and are obsessed with numbers and awards. Many are more concerned about whether their bias is more popular than another member, who is going to be viral, who is going to be number one on the charts, etc. We know that it's always gratifying but even if tomorrow they didn't receive any more awards but we still like their music, what would be the problem?! We are supposed to love BTS for their music, for their art, for who they are and not because they break multiple records. Who cares if this member is more popular than that member? Who has fun wasting their time looking to see if this album sells more than that album? Really sometimes I get exasperated.
Plus, like I said multiple times what would be the point of sabotaging the most profitable artists for the company ??? They would really have to be stupid and completely worthless to do that because the more they sell and attract fans individually, the more fans they can attract to BTS. The more BTS albums they can sell, the more people they can attract and so on. Idk why some people don't see what it's so obvious !
Besides, It's thanks to a cover of the 'Standing next to you' dance that I started to be interested in BTS, so in a way it's thanks to Jk that I'm here today and that I stan my very first group aka BTS.
I'm like you, if I could go back in time and come back to 2013 to know them at that time, grow up with them, go to their concerts, experience the euphoria with each new era, etc. I don't mean to sound dramatic but sometimes I cry thinking about how much I've missed all these years... I feel huge nostalgia when I think about it because it's weird to see all the content since 2013 and think that I would have already loved them at that point.

I’m glad I watched until the end. It was so obviously apparent that you are strongly biased to Jimin and when she brought up JK during Jimin’s part and you said “and you let that happen??” to Jimin, I almost didn’t keep watching because I don’t buy into all the solo stans’ comparisons and conspiracy theories. I haven’t watched you before, so I think I misjudged your humor towards your bias. So, just saying sorry I misjudged you and I am happy I stayed until the end. You said a lot of good things that I totally agree with.
You saying how you shared “The Astronaut “ to people who have no interest in BTS, but they love that song; reminded me of me doing that with V’s “Slow Dancing” and his Tiny Desk Korea performance. I’ve shared that with people I think would like it, hoping they will eventually understand my love of BTS and all the guys. NOW, I’m going to share The Astronaut, too. Why didn’t I think of that? 😊💜

I'm saying this once again because that's a truth. Jimin is get sabotaged by the label so hard because he said himself that he wanted to do more promotions and shoot more MVs but the label completely denied his wishes. I know so called OT7 fans going to attack every comment if someone raised their questions regarding this issue. But if people are saying that the label planned everything from the start with every member than why these same people are saying that well Suga album has to be released from the start of the year but his album is not fully completed and he has to delay his release and because of thst Jimin's promotion era has only 9 days. If that's true and because Suga has to go to military and also have to complete his concert than, these people are wrong by saying everything is planned by members themselves. And Jimin himself said multiple times that he wanted more time but the he can't. That means Jimin has to cut his entire promotion due to Suga sudden release. Than she is wrong by saying in the vedio that Jimin did the most promotions and whatnot. Because he didn't. And about the comparison of Jimin and JK , i don't agree with her because no Matter what kind of songs they have, they're both targeting global pop audiences and still the differences between their promotions is pretty clear. But I'm just hoping that this kind of thing didn't happen again to any of them.But the company didn't properly planned Jimin's promotion period where as every member gets atleast a decent amount of time to promote their first official album. @g.s.7 I know , and it's so frustrating , but I'm just happy that most of the world and people like us knows about these things . I love all of them but the truth is a truth and It can be hurtful to some people but you can't deny the fact. And in the recent interview Bang PD conformed himself that JK whole album is made by SC and Bang Pd himself and they are doing basically everything for him. I'm don't blaming JK because I know JK is also disappointed by Hybe because they didn't give him the opportunity to do what he wants as regarding to create his own music but he has to do to prove himself. But that interview clears our suspicions that favoritism is happening. But I just hope that does not happen in future and the members have full freedom to do what they want. And most importantly, they have equal opportunities and time period to do everything they want.❤️🧡
The difference is Jungkooks solo project was handled by HYBE America. The amount of projects Scooter developed for JK has been incredible. Thank goodness, Bang was there to encourage Jungkook to complete his album. JK himself said in his Live that after FIFA he told the company to halt his project. I can't believe we almost didn't get Golden. He gushes over Seven and the rest is history.

And no matter what they say, most of the fans knows that and I'm just happy with that. And honestly I'm just done with this situation and I'm just enjoying our mochi birthday. And I just hope that in his next projects , they don't sabotage him again and he will always be happy and healthy. But it's a fact that he did get sabotaged by the charts and the label. But he still achieved everything and even made history . So, he proved again that he is no. 1 for a reason. Every member is best in their fields and I'm happy for them for what they achieved. 💜🧡

Yeah I don’t think it’s on HYBE. I think the boys have a lot of say in their promotional strategies…they are true artists and have different objectives. They’re all successful in their own right.
I think the reason why Face era was short is because this is Jimin just warming up. Meaning: he still has time till he enlists, so he experimented with a mini album, tested some things and learned from them. Therefore, before he enlists, he will be releasing a full album with a longer promotion period and will drop the mic 👏

These guys are huge! They choose what and where to promote their music. Hybe may make suggestions but they control their own promotions. This video acts like they don't have brains of their own.
Bts members themselves said many times that they are in control of their own solo. They decided their own promotion and who they work with.
People seem to forget that they are grown man. They have worked in the music industry for 10 years. They are college education man with degrees in boarding casting, entertainment, media, advertising and marketing.
There’s no favoritism. People need to stop with the false narratives. They’re all different, with their styles, who they want as their target audience so their promotions reflect that. Why would Hybe sabotage them. They’re making money for the company, which in turn also benefits the boys. After all, they do own tons of stock in Hybe. Did you thoroughly watch the video? There is absolutely favoritism from how Jungkook is being promoted in the West to get those astounding chart statistics.
Their is no favoritism. Jungkook is working with sb project. Scooter is doing jungkook promotion.
Bighit announced months ago that tae would callobations with min heejin from ador to produce his solo album and do his promotion at his request.
No matter how each BTS member wants to promote their solo debuts, Jungkook is still the one with the biggest budget, promotions and support from HYBE and its counterparts.@@nicoleloss7987

I genuinely never felt the promotions were unfair so it did annoy me seeing solo stans on twitter playing the victim card on their members and also blaming other members for lack of promotions. They all promoted the way they wanted, in the same way they made the music they wanted. Their 7 individual artists who are making the music they want and it's beautiful to see and be a part of to witness🤍💜
I agree. I don't understand solo stands. If you really like one member more than others, I think you would then support and respect ALL of the members. They all have said BTS as a group is their #1 priority. And they support each other. So why would you try and make conflict between members? Or the company that they choose to stay with? You can have a bias, but respect and trust their decisions.
