If your part 2 reactions is anything like this first one, then I’m not interested. I do not like your brand of humor. Yelling and screaming does NOT make you funny.
They just got confused smh. When they thought he was before people were trying to tell them he’s not the “leader” like from the only bands they know. But I guess they thought that meant he wasn’t the leader at all😅haha...
Literally, who said that? I don’t know why they were so confused tho cause I’ve watch a couple of new reactors and armies hasn’t failed to inform reactors on certain things especially bts having a leader/main vocal dancer etch.
Just because y'all asked, I'll go search it up lol Bad Bunny did a lot of arena shows in the US during his last world tour and he gathered around 18-20 million dollars from all of it, all the dates (around 21 dates for 19-20 different arenas). BTS did one stadium tour in the USA (the LY-SY Stadium Tour), and a set of random shows also in stadiums, for their Permission to Dance concerts. I'll only look for the PTD concerts. One of those random concerts for PTD they got +30 million with just 4 dates in the SoFi Stadium. And another set of +30mi in the Allegiant Stadium with other 4 dates. So 8 dates +60 million dollars + or - So yeah...
@@melovesawyer Same. At first, I thought he was talking about JK, because that's one of my nicknames for JK (bad bunny). He is always gonna be a bunny to me, and when he is in one of his "worldwide player" or rebellious modes, I call him bad bunny.
I'm going to answer your questions to the best of my ability 1. I don't know how much their tours have made. Yes they've had world tours, but their last world scheduled in 2020 was cancelled due to the pandemic, so they never got to tour only a few performances in LA, Las Vegas, and South Korea in 2021 and 2022. 2. That video of them handing flyers is from the show American Hustle Life from 2014 where they came to LA for 2 weeks to learn more about hip hop from rappers like Coolio and Warren G. 3. Bangtan Sonyeondan aka bulletproof boy scouts is still their name, it hasn't changed. 4. I guess if you want a chance to make it in the industry you have to make sacrifices including sharing a room with 6 other people 5. Yes RM is the leader and he's always been the leader. I think people were saying there isn't like a "star of the group", he's the leader like in sports there is a team captain. 6. The number 1's for RM's mixtape mono. is for all albums. 7. BTS started really gaining popularity in 2015 in South Korea, and I think they really blew up in the US in 2017. 8. Of course they have to audition, some are scouted. Like Jin was recruited while getting off the bus while attending college for his good looks. 9. RM and Suga taught J-Hope how to rap. They also played hip hop songs for the vocalists to help them to appreciate hip hop. 10. They have numerous shows. Bon Voyage where they travel to different countries, In the Soop- a staycation, Run BTS- their variety show where they play different games. 11. Trust me ARMY don't care how long videos are.
Just to clarify, BTS did not have the same opportunities as other groups because they were not part of any of the Big Three K Pop companies. Big Hit was a very small company and almost went bankrupt too. They had to do their own promotions and work harder to get themselves known. When TV shows cut them out or cut their performance they started doing online videos to share with fans more about them. When reality shows mistreated them, they created their own, Run BTS. When BTS came to the United States, their first concert was free and JK, V and Jimin went to pass out flyers to invite people to their free concert. No other group had to do that. BTS literally put blood sweat and tears into their careers. The brothers have lived together for more than 10 years and it was not till 2020/2021 that they finally got their own places. It was their choice to live together. I personally believe this helped them get closer and why they are so United and brothers. No other group has what they have. Also just some info…. Korea used a different age system so JK was the youngest and he was only 13 when he joined. You will often hear him say he was 15 when he joined but that’s because of the age system they used. This year South Korea changed their age system to match the international age system that we all use. ( I know it’s so complicated) There is so much Content of BTS out there. From RUN BTS, Bon Voyage, In the Soop, BTS Bomb, their movies, lives as a group and individually lives. We are so thankful for all this because many of us are rewatching as we wait for 2025 when they come back after doing their military service. Also just some info. Oldest to youngest Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V (Taehyung) and Jungkook (JK) You should do the hardship video next. It’s an eye opener and it helps understand more in detail the why Army is protective of the brothers. ua-cam.com/video/EdY6wnLsetQ/v-deo.html.
I think RM and Suga lives close to each other. Or was that Jhope and Suga? I forgot but I remember they were saying Suga moved houses but it's only a few minutes away from his room mate lmao. They're really brothers at heart.
Had this all been in Taylor's video, I wouldn't have any problem. But that you had to type it all out for them and others to understand, I am having a hard time understanding why they chose her video. I say you've done a better job than Taylor's video with all the information you just gave out. Thank you for that!
@@Mairage I think Taylor’s video is meant to be an intro to the members of BTS and she did an amazing job. But as you dig in more and get to know the brothers and South Korea, you find more details. A good video to watch is the hardship video which gives more detail information to the hardship BTS went through. ua-cam.com/video/EdY6wnLsetQ/v-deo.html. I don’t mind leaving messages here and there to help new Army understand more about our amazing 7 guys.
Your summary is amazing, just want to add that Run BTS is the 3rd variety show they did. The first was the every so chaotic Rookie King, then American Hustle life that many find cringy, but without we wouldn't have a lot of songs and influence, then Run BTS which is the gold star. Thanks for the explanation of stuff that they would have no way of knowing/understanding and isn't in this video. 💜
About the leader thing, yes, RM is the leader, but in korean groups, a leader has not the same rol as in western groups. Being the leader doesn't mean you are the one who sings the most, or the one who has the lead rol on the stage. Leaders in this groups are like a captain in sports team. He is the voice of the group when talking with the company and is the one who works to mantain the group united. Is more like a representative of the group, but not a leader on the stage. When performing all of them are the same, each with their role, some are best singers, some best dancers, some best rappers, but all of them equaly important.
When he said "I used to dance like that" and the other one lost it 😭😂 u guys are funny! To answer one of ur questions, yes sharing their day to day life w ARMY was a smart move. That and their massive talents are probably why they have a huge following, BUT, to maintain that HUGE and LOYAL following for ten years takes so much more than that. They love and appreciate their fans in ways we havent seen ANY artists do. And I dont say that lightly about BTS. They are very much known for their love for their fans. And on top of that, they are actually KIND and positive. Theyre never entitled and even 10 years in, still maintain the same hardwork and effort. They dont take anythinh for granted. And that is why, ARMYs are the biggest and strongest fandom in the world
Idk you guys need to understand that bts is literally one of the biggest music acts ever so stop doubting the achievement they’re way more huge than you imagine
Just to give you a (kinda long) rundown of BTS's shows, since you guys wanted to know whether they're vlog-like or actual shows. The actual answer: it varies! Some are actual shows, some are vlogs. I'll capitalize the type of show they are. Yes, all of the programs I'll mention are still available to watch! Some, however, are available for purchase, and could be heavily copyrighted if uploaded to youtube. *UA-cam and Weverse Livestreams:* Varies in time. These are the members' LIVESTREAMS that happen sporadically and randomly. Nowadays, BTS only go live on Weverse. Jungkook was live today for about 2 hours! The lives are saved, so you can go back and watch them all if you wish. After the lives end, they are reuploaded with subtitles so non-korean speakers can understand (Because when the members are live, they will be speaking Korean). However, we also have volunteer ARMY translators on twitter who translate while we watch! Weverse is a FREE app. *Bangtan Bombs:* Released on BTS' official UA-cam Channel. These also vary in time. They could be anywhere between 1 minute to 40 minutes. These are the one-camera, personal VLOGS that you may have been expecting. For example, if the members are doing a photoshoot, we'll get a 2-3 minute vlog about something funny they did or said. We also get behind-the-scenes vlogs of members preparing and getting ready for an award show or for a performance. The award show/performance ones tend to run between 20-40 minutes. *Run BTS:* A game SHOW. Equipped with a director, staff and multiple cameras and a theme/game every episode, these are planned out beforehand. As mentioned earlier, there's a different game or activity every episode. Some episodes have 2 or 3 parts, and some episodes revisit/recall old ones. There is also usually a penalty/punishment for the member that loses the game in an episode. Examples: Episode 85 was where the members took on an obstacle course at a water park. Episode 20: They cooked dishes for Jin in teams. Episode 52: The members did an escape room. All episodes are FREE! *Bon Voyage:* A SHOW that follows the members on vacations together. This show is also equipped with a director and multiple cameras. However, the whole point of the show is that the members have to carry out their vacations without the help of managers or staff. The staff will have an itinerary of vacation activities planned out for them, and the members usually have to do everything else on their own (figure out how to get there, clean up after themselves, pay for their things, etc.) The members are also given a budget by the staff. They are NOT ALLOWED to use their own money to pay for things they want (unless given permission). There are four seasons. Each season is one country/trip. Season 1: Europe. Season 2: Hawaii. Season 3: Malta. Season 4: New Zealand. These episodes are NOT FREE and will require payment. However, there's definitely free versions somewhere on the internet. *In The Soop:* A SHOW that's very similar to Bon Voyage, in that it's the members on vacation with cameras following them around. However, this show is COMPLETELY UNSCRIPTED. This show started in 2020, when BTS realized they wouldn't be able to do Bon Voyage (travel to different countries) due to COVID. Realizing the members can't have contact with other people for their safety, their staff built/renovated a huge vacation home in the middle of a forest (Note: Soop is Forest in Korean) filled with anything the members could want (video games, DIY projects, LEGOs, paint, snacks/drinks, a pool, karaoke machines, a big kitchen, tons of rooms, etc)., so that they could enjoy complete rest and relaxation. The episodes are the members just lounging around, doing whatever they want, being normal 20-something year olds. There are 2 seasons, and there's a different house in the second season than the first one. In season 2, Jungkook even brings his dog, Bam, along! Again, these episodes are NOT FREE and will require payment. However, there's also free versions floating around somewhere on the internet.
To give you a little perspective on how big they are: - When they gave four concerts over two weekends in Las Vegas in 2021 the entire city was bathed in purple lights and dubbed Borahaegas, restaurants and hotels had BTS themed rooms and menus and there were BTS exhibits, pop-up shops and fountain shows all over the city. They held their concerts at Allegiant Stadium as well as simultaneous live-play shows of the concerts at MGM Grand Garden Arena; sold out both of course. - Approximately 400,000 people came to their 10 year anniversary fireworks show in Seoul in June this year. Not a concert and not even attended by the group, though RM did make a daytime appearance. There were no casualties and ARMY cleaned up after themselves and the event. - They've shattered records set by huge western artists like Adele, Celine Dion, Taylor Swift and Michael Jackson. - They're as big as the 10 biggest other K-pop groups combined. - They alone are responsible for approximately 0.4 % of the South Korean national economy. - Just one concert of theirs in Korea is estimated to have attracted almost as many visitors to the country as the entire Olympics in Seoul in 2018. So yeah, they're pretty big! 😅👍 💜
To be fair... nobody said there was no leader. Army acknowledges and truly respects RM as BTS' leader... we would never dismiss it as RM plays such a critical and prominent role- we said there was no star member... which is not the same as a leader (I don't know if you guys didn't read the comments properly or misinterpreted them or what💀)
Bts were definitely famous worldwide & in the U.S. before covid. They sold out stadiums in minutes. During covid they got even bigger due to how active they were and the release of hits like Dynamite and Butter.
1. You probably wouldn´t find a bunch of people (not related) that love each other more than these guys love each other! Their bond is STRONG! Their love really inspirational! 2. Leader - different meaning in America and in idol group. Leader in America is like the most talented guy in the group that leads in singing/rapping/whatever and the others are more like backing vocals etc. In k-group the leader is the one who takes care of others, speaks for the group, protect the members and the rest respect his word/his advice. He is also the middle guy between the group and the company.
BTS has been selling out stadiums for the past 6 years. They sold out 2 days at Wembly stadium in London in 90 minutes. 90 thousand seats each night. Their last concert was sold out before it went to general public. They sold out Sofi stadium in LA.for 4 nights and alligent for 4 nights in Los Vegas. Los Vegas had purple lights all over the city and temporarily called it Boravegas. Purple is BTS color, bora means purple in Korean and BTS member V coined the word Borahae which mean I purple you that I am sure you two have gotten in the comments. They started getting American fans in 2014 when they participated in KCon in LA. They took off worldwide in 2016. RM definitely is the leader and always will be as long as BTS are together. No question about it. BTS was formed around RM. When Bang Sik Hyuk met him the first time he signed him on immediately and decided to form BTS around him. They were suppose to be a hip hop group but within a year Bang Sik Hyuk decided to go for an idol group which is hip hop and pop. In the beginning they were heavy with hip hop and then transitioned into multi genre. When you listen to their songs and watching mv you need to read the lyrics as unlike K-pop and western music the lyrics have very deep meaning. They derive their songs from personal feelings and thoughts, classical literature, art, psychology, social issues and so on. They have given army many songs to comfort, encourage and to love ourselves. The topic that most people can relate to and those who don’t are sociopaths. Jin was approached in the street by 2 label companies because of his looks. The first time was by the SM entertainment which at that time biggest music label but he thought they were scammers. The second time was by Big Hit executive when he was getting off a bus. He was studying acting at a university and 18 years old. He thought he was auditioning as an actor and not a singer or dancer. He had no skills in those 2 areas. He worked harder than anyone else as a trainee and that was the reason Bang Sik Hyuk picked him as the 4th member of BTS and the first vocalist to be chosen.
I just have one thing for you guys when you watch BTS contents BE OPEN-MINDED and don't approach all the contents with pre-conceived notions. And stop comparing them with others. Just take it as it is. They are really great artists with great professional ethics and good human beings. We don't ask for much, just be respectful towards them and their works. Hope you learn something from them. If you are genuinely curious about anything, ask ARMY.
You guys arguing about who dances and dresses better is hilarious lmao You should definitely learn a choreo of the chorus or another part of a BTS or BTS member solo song (it doesn't have to be a really hard choreo) and we vote who is better 😂 Anyway, love the reaction! Anyways, it's true that BTS' content and personalities helped the fandom being that attach to them in some way but to be honest a lot of artists releases that type of content nowadays too. I feel what makes BTS' so special is their talent, artistic identity and the synergy all the members create and what made us really connected to them is their music and messages. Their discography is just SO good and diverse and the lyrics most of times shows their thoughts and feelings and you can feel their strong passion and honesty through their voices, especially when they perform.
Nah BTS got "big" in Korea in 2015 (actually it was more like 2016, but they got their first major recognition in 2015 so people count it as this year). They got big in America in 2017. The video of them promoting on the streets is from 2014, and they officially started as a group in 2013.
You asked if they still go live- just watched JK earlier today, he was live for over 2 hours with over 15M viewers, yes they still go live often. Also, Army paid to watch Suga’s solo concert online that took place this morning (US time) in Seoul in a sold out arena. (This was concert #26 of 28 over the last few months-he had a world tour (11 of the 28 in the US). I got to see his first 2 dates live in NY and it was amazing- you can find videos on UA-cam (D Day Tour) Glad you’re taking the time to learn about them, looking for part 2!💜
Their name is still Bulletproof Boyscouts! It hasn't changed! BTS in korean is 방탄소년단 (Bangtan Sonyeondan) which translates to Bulletproof Boyscouts. They added a English name so foreigners wouldn't have much of a problem saying it fully (Beyond The Scene), but their name is still to this day Bulletproof Boyscouts. "BTS" is just the acronym.
While earning over 30 million dollars from just 4 shows is impressive enough on its own, BTS also broke long-standing Boxscore records with these concerts. PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE became the highest-grossing US-based tour and broke an 18 year record, and the series of 4 concerts has the highest-grossing engagement since concert venues reopened in 2021.
I doubt any ARMY said that RM wasn't the leader. They were big before covid. The weren't big in Korea when they were handing out the flyers. They are still Bangtan Sonyeondan (Bulletproof Boyscouts).
@@geekyreader34 exactly, to me they understand they cant pause so much but they dont understand that army doesnt enjoy it when people talk over the video. Not to mention they took up around 10 minutes of talking to each other instead. Imo, they couldve cut it out.
Leader is different than you might think. He isn’t the main guy in front of performances, albums, you’ll see. Yes, they were already big in the US during Covid, but they did get a surge of new fans.
Technically, I became an ARMY during the pandemic, but it wasn’t because I HAD to listen only to them, but because they really were the best out there at the time.
I, personally love the longer reactions. I dislike rushed with very little comments because that tells me the lyrics weren’t read and they think they are going to get views and subs just because they are watching BTS
5:35 (timestamp) this was in Los Angeles, and BTS hadn't broken into the US yet. This was in 2014, before they were even big in South Korea. I think they had maybe a total of 1 million fans Globally, but they weren't popular so much in South Korea, and they were not popular in America yet. I think it was 2 more years before they broke into the US Market, but the trip to the US to do a variety show (American Hustle Life) and study the origins of Hip Hop, helped them develop as artists, and not to mention they actually recorded their 4th album (1st full studio album) while they were there filming. Their agency was close to bankruptcy during this time. They did hold their very first concert in front of 200 fans. It was a really great experience for them. And they got some good connections (example: Warren G, and some producers in the American music industry) It was a great learning experienc for BTS, and their CEO and team.
You two are hilarious! I just subscribed because the way you guys argue and bicker is just too funny! My three favorite Suga songs are Daewichita, Haegeum and Amygdala. You should watch in that order as the last one is a prequel to the other two.
Look, as long as its Bts we will sit and watch😄. If we can watch Jin play his games for 3hrs or watch Jungkook sleep or cook, 1hr is nothing for Army. This is weekend 💜💜💜
11:55 they were still hugeee before covid happened, their popularity exploded in 2018, their fanbase probably grew the most during this time. Then they released dynamite in 2020 and it took everything on to another level.
Being a slow reader is ok (My degree is in English education...please never EVER apologize for being a slow reader)! You are FINE pausing the video to read; PLEASE DO. We would rather you do that than miss something, honestly. I promise you, we will watch all of the reaction! The itunes, spotify, streaming records are all worldwide/all genre/not limited to Kpop. THAT is how big BTS is. Most of us learn about BTS and are like, "why didn't I know about them before"? There are other videos about all of that. You should know more about them; the Western music industry doesn't want you to know. It is what it is. OMG, you two are hilarious! You were in the military together did I hear? Tell us about that! Thanks for watching; excited for part 2! I know we hounded you about this, but it's a good guide!
40:10 I dare you to show me western artists who go live and eat, get drunk, do the dishes, game wearing pyjamas and take a nap on screen. Those are just a few of the things they've done. 😂
I think people were saying there was no leader, because the way you meant it was like the leader in US boybands, where there's this one member that is obviously the lead and everyone else is kind of an afterthought. RM is the leader in the kpop industry sense - he acts as a spokesperson, mediator between the company and the guys and just general leadership. In a way he's responsible for the group. It's an official position.
I love how RM categorized the percentage of their Success, instead of saying cliche things like "Oh I'll give 100% to our Fans" He mentioned Everyone who is behind their Success, n thts a Great Leader right there. BTS don't fake it, like many other Artists do. n Even tho BTS is the one who made Army and their small company This big by their Hardwork, Amazing Music n Lyricism, he still gave themselves a small portion of their Success when they r the one who deserves the most, I just love BTS 💜💜
13:55 Yes, he's the Leader but what Army's mean is their no Beyonce, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Harry Style of the group (if that makes sense). Every member is The Beyonce & MJ of the group. RM is the leader in the sense of taking responsibility for the group, basically being the bridge of communication for them. Whether it be communication between the members, company, media, or being a translator for the group.
They have tons of content including Run BTS, Bon Voyage and Bangtan Bombs, plus promotional specials, anniversary specials (FESTA) no other artist in the world puts out the quality and volume of content than BTS.
I'm American introduced to the first Grammy proformeds.asked my daughter about them felll for v first.I'm in my 50 and see slot of group and artist from pop to rock. These boys are special they caught my attention since 2017
I first heard of them when I heard of there song “fake love”. And of course thanks to social media like ig I learned more about them. Big fan of them since ❤.
Lol look at you, only one BTS guide in and y'all are already saying kind words of appreciation about each other. Looks like BTS already has a good influence on you guys 😆 as you watch more, you'll see more of their selflessness and genuine admiration for each other. No jealousy, no qualms about giving the spotlight to other members. But in their variety show Run BTS, they are super duper competitive. In the show, they do a wide variety games and competitions, complete various missions and challenges, etc. And they will absolutely fight to the death to win. They have no qualms about throwing each other under the bus to avoid punishments or to win a prize like a rice cooker lol. You'll see a lot of making/breaking alliances, lying, betrayals, underhanded deals, sneaky strategies, plot twists, etc. It's very entertaining lol. Sometimes the production team will pick one member to be the "spy" in secret and the spy has to carry out side missions without getting caught. Fun stuff like that. I'd definitely watch their Run BTS episodes after you are more familiar with each member, when you can recognize each person by name and face very easily. You don't need to watch the episodes in order, a lot of the later episodes are more entertaining and better in production. I would ask for recommendations for the best ones to start with, ask for ones that are easy for newbies to understand. And yes all their shows are on YT, ask for links from your viewers.
In 2022 Bad Bunny was the highest grossing concert touring artist with 81 shows $435 Million. BTS grossed $118.28 million from 7 shows in 2022. BTS’s agency HYBE recorded $1.28 billion in revenue for 2022 alone. BTS reportedly accounted for more than half of the sales HYBE reported in 2022. Elton John is the highest Global grossing touring artist currently of all time. Elton John - Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour (2018-2023) Total Gross: $853 million.
Thank you for reacting to this. A couple fav Suga songs are Shadow and Daechwita. I did find them during the pandemic but not because of it. Can't wait for part 2! 💜💜
Helpful hint for the guide: Not sure if you know.... Korean people used to count age differently to others... Korean Age vs International Age - difference is 1-2 years depending on if their birthday has been.... In most older videos, including this guide, they are giving Korean ages so you will need to adjust. The members were only 13-18 years old when they became trainees and 15-20 yo when they debuted. In Korea when you are born you are considered 1 year old. Then on 01 Jan every year you add another year to your age, no matter what your birthdate is. .... Year of birth - International age at Debut on 13June13 (Year and age became trainee) Jin 1992 - 20 yo (2011 - 18yo) Suga 1993- 20 yo (2011 - 17yo) Suga started with MIDI at 11 JHope 1994 - 19 yo (2011 - 17yo)JHope started dancing at 8 RM 1994 - 18 yo (2010 - 15yo) RM started rapping at 11 and was well known in the underground scene at 13 Jimin 1995 - 17 yo (2012 - 16yo) V 1995 - 17 yo (2011 - 15yo) JK 1997 - 15 yo (2011 - 13yo) JK signed with big hit at 13yo Rule of thumb - if it's before their birthday - subtract 2 years to get international age. if it's after their birthday - subtract 1 year to get their international age. EG: TaeHyung (V) born 30 Dec 1995 ...... current International Age 27 (Korean Age 29). ... 2 years difference So Tae born 30 Dec 95 is 1 year old, then on 01 Jan 96 he is 1 more year older (so they would say he is 2 years old, when we would say he is 2 days old.) So he was considered 29 in Korea since 01 January, we would say he is 27 turning 28 in Dec. It's a different way of looking at age, from new years day - Tae is living his 29th year (since conception) - instead of - he turned 27 (since birth).... The Korean Government has recently (June28) brought in international age as the standard in Korea, but all older videos/ interviews/ shows, will be referencing Korean age. 💜Have a great day
On the show in the soop , you can see them making songs even though they were on pretty much a vacation, during concerts they make songs in their hotel rooms too 😅they dont know how to rest
Bts has been a group since 2013 (thats when i found them). Theyve been a group for a long time and didnt just blow up in 2020. They've accomplished a lot in their 10 years of being a group and we forever love them.
I am commenting as I watch..... ****** 5:03 They went to the United States for two weeks as part of an opportunity to be on a cringey reality show called American Hustle Life. That's when they were handing out fliers for their free concert on Hollywood Boulevard. They were not already huge in S Korea. In fact, they were more famous abroad than in S Korea. This is because they were experiencing massive bullying and industry lockout in S Korea because they were from a tiny, broke label and were industry outsiders, but also they were seen as a threat (because of their prodigious talent) to the major players in the music industry and were a Hip Hop based group that didn't fit the industry standards. They felt that they belonged nowhere and everyone was against them. They said they didn't even feel like they had been invited to the award shows for the first few years, because of how the other artists would treat them, like they didn't belong there. They were independent rule breakers in a country that is a very hierarchical meritocracy and they were fighting a very pitched uphill battle to break into the industry. Because of all this, and because they were broke, they were the first ones in the idol industry to take to UA-cam and other platforms to share themselves and their music. They didn't have many other options. As a result of the industry lockout, with few opportunities to perform or be seen in S Korea, their overseas fanbase grew faster than in their own country. When they arrived in L.A. to film Amercian Hustle Life, there was a crowd at the airport. They were shocked. When their albums started to do well and they started to chart and win awards in S Korean, people accused them of cheating somehow because they could not believe they were doing so well when most S Koreans didn't know who they were and they were not invited on the tv shows or in the news etc. That is because their albums were selling well internationally, not in S Korea. ******** 5:49 That's Jin that has your tank top on... ******** 7:10 Bangtan Sonyeondan is still their name. That's what BTS stands for. It means to be resistant to the judgements, prejudice and hate that comes at young people like bullets. It means to stand against oppression. They also later extended the meaning to Beyond the Scene, meaning to continue moving forward to growth, both personally and as artists, so BTS now means both things. ******** 9:48 Yes, they were making music, touring, training hard for the dancing, doing solo work and OSTs and collabs the entire time they were also filming their variety series and their specials. Also getting their college degrees. I know....how can they do all this?? They are amazing. That's how. Also "In the Soop" means In the Forest. It's the series they used to replace Bon Voyage when the Pandemic started and they could not travel abroad and had to stay in S Korea. You can find their shows on their UA-cam channel www.youtube.com/@BTS on Weverse, the digital platform their company created for them to protect them from mistreatment on other platforms, and you can find RUN BTS episodes here www.youtube.com/@RUNBTSofficial The most recent shows are episodes of Suga's talk show called Suchwita, where he drinks and talks with various guests, including his BTS brothers. ******** 13:30 I know others have said, but Leader doesn't mean the same thing in S Korea. That's why people said there was no leader in that sense. Because it's not the same. RM is and has always been the Leader of BTS, but it means he is the liason between the company and the group, he helps the group with staying on track and resolving conflicts between members and between the group and the label or others, he is a moral center. He also tends to be their spokesman and translator abroad as he was already fluent in English before they debuted. He is not "the star." He just has a lot of extra responsibilities as leader. He is like group dad, even though he is not the oldest. He is actually exactly in the middle, with three older and three younger than him. ******** 15:52 Correct, 148 is technically a genius level IQ. ******** 16:55 RM taught himself English as a child from watching the TV show Friends. I know, crazy. The benefits of being a genius.... ******** 17:50 RM's song with Wale is called Change and it's an awesome song. It's all in English, which is helpful because there are no captions on the official video link. ua-cam.com/video/9rAyprZdo7o/v-deo.html ******** 17:55 Most iTunes #1's means #1 in the most countries. And 100 iTunes #1s means #1 in 100 different countries. ******** 19:30 Yoongi / Suga / Agust D's underground rapper name, Gloss, is a play on his given name Yoongi. Yoongi means bright, or gloss or shining. His mother named him that because he is so pale. Also Agust D is DT Suga backwards. He is from the city of Daegu and his original underground rap crew was DT crew (Daegu Town) so Daegu Town Suga. ******** 22:30 In Suga's song Nevermind where he says to "engrave it on your chest" - Jimin felt so strongly about the song and the message that he did exactly that. He got a large tattoo that says Nevermind across the right side of his ribcage. ******** 23:45 A lot of people miss it but that's him playing the piano in the video and the audio at that point is him too. He is a brilliant piano player. He could have been a concert pianist. And yes, he also plays guitar. He played both at different points in each show in the solo world tour he just finished last weekend. ******** 31:46 And so it begins...... I love how you are inspired to talk about complimenting one another and speaking more kindly to one another. This is how BTS changes lives. Through their art and through their example. They are exemplary humans and they inspire us to be better to one another and to ourselves. Being affectionate, tender and vulnerable is courageous. not weak. ******** 38:00 All the older members (Jin, Suga, j-Hope & RM) were like parents to the younger three, the Maknaes (mawk-nays) which means youngest, Jimin, V & JK. Jin most often made their breakfasts and lunches and drove them to school every day, looked out for them and mentored them. Suga and j-hope provided emotional support and Suga and Jin did a lot of the cooking like dinners. RM was an all around role model and mentor, as well as general minder and bossman. ******** 38:30 That clip is from one of the vacation specials where they are in Hawaii, Bon Voyage Season 2. In the Soop is their staycation specials during the pandemic. RUN BTS is their variety show where they play games and do challenges (not to be confused the song Run BTS from the Proof Album.) They also have many behind the scenes and making-of clips for music videos. Bangtan Bombs were like TikToks before TikTok existed, short clips they uploaded of them playing around or behind the scenes, etc. There are also some other random videos of them doing games or skits, etc. They were completely uncensored and unedited in their original vlogs and their Bangtan Bombs. The vacation specials are more edited as a show, but are not scripted at all. They pretty much grew up in front of us the last ten years. They also continued to live together for about 11 years, starting from pre-debut, just moving to nicer apartments as they could afford to. They even wrote a song about moving out of their first apartment together (Moving On.) They finally moved to their own places and got rid of the dorm last year, but they still spend a lot of time together, except for the members currently in the military. ******** End - Suga is an introvert but also secretly a squishy Pisces. He is learning to be more open emotionally as he heals his many traumas and has never been afraid to show that real, raw and vulnerable stuff to us in his music, his videos and his letters to ARMY. But he does tend to be quieter and more laid back in personality. Jimin described him as "A cool neighborhood hyung" Hyung meaning older brother or close older male friend. ARMY compare him to a cat a lot. In fact, all the guys have emojis that are used in many videos made by ARMY to help differentiate who is speaking in group clips and so forth and are based on personality traits and mannerisms. BTS refers to them too. RM = 🐨 Jin = 🐹 Suga = 🐱 j-hope = 🐿 Jimin = 🐣 or 🐥 V = 🐻 or 🐯 JK = 🐰
BTS’ "Love: Speak Yourself" garnered $70.7 million for 18 shows and takes the first spot on highest-selling tour. Followed by their own "Permission to Dance concerts," which grossed $69.3 million for 8 shows and takes the second spot. Also, BTS' SUGA solo world tour is the fourth-highest-selling tour. He is the first rapper to earn over $3M in a single arena-concert in US history! His U.S. tour generated a whopping revenue of $30.2 million dollars through 11 shows.
Do Not confuse ‘Main’ member to ‘Leader’.. BTS definitely have a Leader -RM takes the role like a Team Captain in sports, or a Class President in school or a President of a club/ association. ARMY been mentioning there’s no main member in BTS. There isnt an MJ of Jackson 5 in BTS, rather they are like 7 MJs in a single group, equally strong artist individually.
To see how BTS climbed up the music industry both in Korea and the US you should definitely watch THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LIFE GOES ON THE STORY OF BTS BY RICE SQUAD (UPDATED VER). This will show how they didn't become an overnight hit even in Korea. And no reading, it is narrated for you!💜
RM, Suga and Jhope are like the three pillars of bts, they write lyrics, produce and lead choreography practices. Not only that, during the bts 2010 to 2012 predebut era, the rappers were responsible for teaching the vocalists about hiphop. All 3 of them would make hiphop playlsits and play them for the vocal line and give them information and history about hiphop. They sort of ran a hiphop school with 3 elements music and lyrics and dance. Meanwhile Jin, when he moved to the dorms in 2012 (he moved into the dorms late) saw the absolute messy state they were living in and decided to step In and provide. He literally daddy like... Man stole cookware and food from his parents house and cooked proper meals for the boys with whatever they could afford and fed the members. before he came in, suga was drinking blended chicken and banana to survive.... they were in the trenches fr. Jin brought them some semblance of normalcy. He really stepped into that older brother role. The 4 older bros really acted as mentors for the 3 younger dudes who were all still in school.
I really enjoy watching your reactions especially your bickering in between lol. I became army in 2020 during the pandemic just in time for their Dynamite comeback. Since then, I've been to 4 concerts (1 in PTD LA in SoFi stadium 2021 and 3 for Suga's solo concert just a few months ago). Tickets sell out real fast whether it's in an arena or stadium. During Las Vegas PTD tour, they sold out Allegiant stadium and used MGM arena for live viewing each of the 4 nights. They even had live streaming for 1 night for all armys world wide. You don't have to worry about long videos since armys don't mind. 💜
They have been steadily growing for a while. I found them in 2017 and I went to the concert at MetLife stadium in 2019. I had tickets for the Map of the Soul tour also but that was cancelled due to COVID. Yeah the videos are still up between UA-cam and the app their company made ,Weverse ,to watch. This is a good video to watch. Yes RM is the leader but it is not the same as here in the US. What we call leader is more in line with the Center in Kpop and that is Jungkook. The front person in formations and generally most lines in the songs.
They definitely would sell more than Bad Bunny outside of Latin America. When covid was breaking out, they put out on sale 16 stadium dates in the US and despite covid concerns most of it sold out in fanclub membership presale. They sold out 4 so-fi stadium dates under 1 hour and there was still over 800k people queueing to them. Unfortunately, their last tour was just an extension planned in 2018, way before they rose to their current level.
Suga songs that are my favorites are self titled song called AugstD, The Last, so far away, Daechwita, amygdala, people pt 2, and shadow. His songs are usually very deep so make sure you pay attention to the lyrics. Not all the songs have MV so you’ll have to check out a lyric video. Thanks for the reaction looking forward to the next one!
While I was watching this, the announcement came out that Suga would be enlisting. He just finished his solo world tour (28 shows) last night. I was lucky to see him in Oakland California. I suggest watching "Agust D " MV (2016) as an introduction. Watch the trilogy Daechwita [day-chwi-ta] (2020), Haegeum [hay-gum] (2022), and finally Amygdala (2020). You heard a sample of Agust D and Daechwita in this guide.
YOU ARE SO FUNNY LOVED YOUR LITTLE ARGUMENTS. THE DANCE ONE WAS THE FUNNIES FOR ME I LAUGHED SO HARD. OK, I AM A JAMAICAN ARMY FOR ABOUT 5 YRS NOW AND I AM 37 YRS OLD. ENJOYED YOUR REACTION.
A leader is there to motivate and keep the team United and intervention when there are fights etc. it doesn’t means he’s the boss lol. Also the members chose him to be the leader
Bts blew up before covid. But most locals have preconceived ideas about them and Kpop. Bts were the most active artist and group during covid because they felt a responsibility to help us get through those tough times. When the world stopped, bts didn't. They kept going and even delayed their schedule to keep people entertained.
BTS generate about $4.9 billion USD a year to South Korean GDP, according to forbes magazine. They make so much money that the government held several meetings across 4 years discussing their obligatory military enlistment and potential negative effects of it. Korean presidents in diplomatic visists gift other presidents qnd highest dignitaries of other countries with signed BTS albums. There are plenty of situations like for example when BTS member performed on World Cup 2022 opening ceremony, one of Arabian dignitaries there told Korean that he will vote South Korea in the UN to host World Expo if they get BTS to perform in their country. When there was a scandal in China that some of BTS merch was being stopped from import, Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs had to formally investigate it and make a statement for the sake of international politics. The government keeps trying to engage them in being representatives for diplomatic meetings. BTS singlehandedly globalized kpop blewing it up and establishing it on the west. BTS are the beating heart of hallyu.
Their solo achievements have skyrocket for each of them coz they are currently doing more solo stuff, in light of millitary enlistment (they have plans for 2025 when they come back as 7 members). So, they have broken almost all of the records they set before (spotify followers, monthly listeners, itunes #1s etc etc). Also, the creator of the video specifies what contexts all the records are in. So, yes, RM itunes record is as an overall artist, not just korean artist. They just continue to break the records that they have already set, each year. So this video is a tiny bit outdated when it comes to achievements, but still overall a very good introduction video. And yes, they made their "breakthrough" in america in early 2017, and they solidified their "big" status in 2019 i would say (when they did their stadium tour in america with multiple sold out shows in multiple football stadiums, like rosebowl in NY, metlife in chicago and more) :)
RM has always been the leader of BTS since 2013.... I think you got it mixed up with "there is no one MAIN person in the group (ex: Justin Timberlake)" since they all are equally talented and essential! Also, their world tours and concerts always sold out within minutes so it's a real battle to fight for tickets.
@@shotglassoftear I am extremely annoyed. I couldn't make it through the whole video. They make a lot of assumptions that make no sense and treat this whole thing like a joke. I won't be watching anymore of their videos.
@@jerseygirl6221 It isn't about not knowing them. It is about some of the things they say being disrespectful. But you go ahead and keep watching their channel. I have the right to say I won't.
Their old vlogs, shows and lives are still available on UA-cam and weverse. Easiest to think in these terms. K-Pop is an industry . It covers most genres and includes soloists and groups and is a term used mostly in the west to indicate that the artist is from Korea and has music that is popular. In Korea they don't really use the term K-Pop cause they call therm Idols (or Idol groups). It is not common for Idol groups to write their own music or be so involved in their art. BTS has broken thru the barriers that come with being called "KPop Idols" and have become "Global Artists" instead. That said they are extremely proud towards their country of birth so being referred to as KPop stars does not bother them.. The reason so many ARMY get upset with the kpop label is that it is usually used in a derogatory manner when people just dismiss BTS as some little KPop boyband. As you will find most (not all) of KPop is innane lyrics to boppy tunes and no real substance. BTS bridges generational boundaries - for instance 5 generations of my family adore these 7 humble young men (from 90 yo grandma to my 2yo grandson) - I almost see BTS and ARMY as a grassroots social movement that is moving to the tune of "Rise of Bangtan". I'm 52 and I've been ARMY since 2016.
They sold out 4 nites at SOFI Stadium and 4 nites at Allegiant Stadium (multiple shows at Citi Field, Soldier Stadium, the Rose Bowl and many others) and have had have had several world tours including 2 sold out concerts at Wembley Stadium.
To answer your question about the tours , they are actually insane ,their concerts with 50-70k capacity literally sells out even in hour during pre sales worldwide including Korea ,Japan ,USA ,UK ,France ,Brazil ,Thailand etc . They are the 12th artist to ever sell out wembley stadium (90k capacity) and they did that in 2019 ,when they were just starting gaining more worldwide popularity . In 2021 , they did 8 shows in US and 4 shows in Korea and grossed more than 230M$ (which other artist matches with their numbers when they do like 50-60+ shows, which they did with only 12 shows).their concerts are insane ,literally the best ever.there impact is insane ,like each year they contribute to more than 4billion $ to South Korea ‘s economy .they are the 10th most streamed artist on Spotify (did that with only 10 years of career) ,they are the group with the most hot100 No.1 in history , the most streamed artist on melon (streaming platform only for Koreans with 12 billion streams ) ,they are the artist with most entries on billboard Japan hot100 (second biggest music Market in the world .they are the highest grossing group in both Japan and china ever and they haven’t put a single foot in china btw .they were the most streamed artist in Japan year end chart last year . They were also in top 10 most streamed artist on Spotify india which is crazy since they were the only foreign act on the chart ,and fourth most streamed artist globally .and these are like 0.0000000000000000000000000000000001 % of their achievements about how they completely dominate their home country and 2 other biggest music markets in the world.
Yoongi also had the best selling rap album of all time on debut day earlier this year. I recommend checking out his stuff since y'all mention rappers a lot
All the clips from the shows you're seeing are when they go on vacation, or film vlogs. They don't have a show just based on their day to day life. Vlive is an app where they can go live with fans, but it's also serves as like another UA-cam. So whenever something new related to them comes out, it will get posted on Vlive and UA-cam. ❤
Hi dears. 68yo Army here....and as a semi-pseudo authority figure I have one thing to say..."Don't make me come over there and separate you two.".....lol.
RM said he started learning English by watching Friends 😂 Nowadays,a lot of the members know a lot of English but i don't think they're as confident as RM to speak it but you can tell they do understand it in interviews
UPDATE ON PART 2 IS IN THE COMMUNITY TAB ON OUR CHANNEL!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Do you have part 2?
Why don't u upload here 😊
If your part 2 reactions is anything like this first one, then I’m not interested. I do not like your brand of humor. Yelling and screaming does NOT make you funny.
Rm is the leader 😭 I don’t know who said he wasn’t but Rm is definitely the leader 💁♀️
They're confusing it with people saying there isn't a main person (like Harry Styles, Justin Timberlake etc)
Us army need to start elaborating on what we mean now i guess😭
They just got confused smh. When they thought he was before people were trying to tell them he’s not the “leader” like from the only bands they know. But I guess they thought that meant he wasn’t the leader at all😅haha...
Honestly tho they got so easily confused on that😭we’ve got to work on breaking things down further I suppose
Literally, who said that? I don’t know why they were so confused tho cause I’ve watch a couple of new reactors and armies hasn’t failed to inform reactors on certain things especially bts having a leader/main vocal dancer etch.
Just because y'all asked, I'll go search it up lol
Bad Bunny did a lot of arena shows in the US during his last world tour and he gathered around 18-20 million dollars from all of it, all the dates (around 21 dates for 19-20 different arenas).
So 8 dates +60 million dollars + or -
So yeah...
I had to google but more because I didn’t know who Bad Bunny was lol.
@@melovesawyersame
Same hehehe
BTS will always do better than any other artists, they're bigger then the music industry as a whole.
@@melovesawyer Same. At first, I thought he was talking about JK, because that's one of my nicknames for JK (bad bunny). He is always gonna be a bunny to me, and when he is in one of his "worldwide player" or rebellious modes, I call him bad bunny.
I'm going to answer your questions to the best of my ability
4. I guess if you want a chance to make it in the industry you have to make sacrifices including sharing a room with 6 other people
Perfect explanation.... 💜
Gracias ARMY, excelente explicación. 💜✌💜
Thank you for doing that. Borahae 💜💜
they were more popular international than they were in sk. but they were still winning awards and began to gain acknowledgment in sk.
We appreciate things like this 🙏🏽
Just to clarify, BTS did not have the same opportunities as other groups because they were not part of any of the Big Three K Pop companies.
( I know it’s so complicated)
There is so much Content of BTS out there. From RUN BTS, Bon Voyage, In the Soop, BTS Bomb, their movies, lives as a group and individually lives. We are so thankful for all this because many of us are rewatching as we wait for 2025 when they come back after doing their military service.
Also just some info.
Oldest to youngest
Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V (Taehyung) and Jungkook (JK)
You should do the hardship video next.
It's Jin and Suga. It was on Jin's episode of SUCHWITA.
Up
I dont think Armys would have said there is no leader what we would have said is that there is no one main guy. All of them are equally important
And that is why, ARMYs are the biggest and strongest fandom in the world
You will never understand how amazing BTS’ marketing is. It’s the point of having a talent agency like Big Hit or HYBE to begin with.
IN THE SOOP season 1 = Jin picking a one sided fight with a punching bag every morning.
To give you a little perspective on how big they are:
- When they gave four concerts over two weekends in Las Vegas in 2021 the entire city was bathed in purple lights and dubbed Borahaegas, restaurants and hotels had BTS themed rooms and menus and there were BTS exhibits, pop-up shops and fountain shows all over the city.
💜
BTS dominate iTunes globally. So yes, the most iTunes #1s refers to overall. Not just kpop.
Yeah i think dynamite caused that a bit
@peachcinth oh for sure. Let me add that.
BTS gained fans because of their LYRICS not just because of the tv shows and vlogs. BTS' message of loving yourself reached millions of people.
I became a fan because of lyrics; I am a retired 71 year old English teacher.
I think it is both. Different ARMY came in for different things. However stayed because of their music/lyrics.
Exactly this!!! 💯
You guys arguing about who dances and dresses better is hilarious lmao
You should definitely learn a choreo of the chorus or another part of a BTS or BTS member solo song (it doesn't have to be a really hard choreo) and we vote who is better 😂
Anyway, love the reaction!
I got to see his first 2 dates live in NY and it was amazing- you can find videos on UA-cam (D Day Tour)
Glad you’re taking the time to learn about them, looking for part 2!💜
Their name is still Bulletproof Boyscouts! It hasn't changed! BTS in korean is 방탄소년단 (Bangtan Sonyeondan) which translates to Bulletproof Boyscouts. They added a English name so foreigners wouldn't have much of a problem saying it fully (Beyond The Scene), but their name is still to this day Bulletproof Boyscouts. "BTS" is just the acronym.
Sonyeondan really just means a "group of boys." I always thought it was weird to say Boy Scouts, since it has a different meaning.
@@Anne-pd2hk Boyscouts it's the official translation, we don't translate it literally, we use the official translation provided by the company.
Army doesn’t mind a long video as long as it’s done with an open mind and respectfully
They mind they want some views, more video more views
@@JK_myman97 yeah
They talked too much in this
@@jujujujujujujujujujuju i felt they really weren’t paying attention as they should be . If your really interested in learning about them
@@geekyreader34 exactly, to me they understand they cant pause so much but they dont understand that army doesnt enjoy it when people talk over the video.
Do y’all like longer form videos? Or keep it short?
longer
long videos fs, matter fact never turn off the camera lol jk
Armys don't care about how long the video is
Longer
Dance challenge! 2 days to learn one of their choreographies, yes please. We need to see you both dance to judge who's better. Can't wait!
"youre calling him old ?! HOW DARE YOU ?!" LMFAOO
11:55 they were still hugeee before covid happened, their popularity exploded in 2018, their fanbase probably grew the most during this time. Then they released dynamite in 2020 and it took everything on to another level.
BTS has been big in America since like 2017-2018
Being a slow reader is ok (My degree is in English education...please never EVER apologize for being a slow reader)!
Yes, it is written in stone. This guide is accurate. RM was, is, and will be the leader forever. 💜
40:10 I dare you to show me western artists who go live and eat, get drunk, do the dishes, game wearing pyjamas and take a nap on screen. Those are just a few of the things they've done. 😂
Yes we love the longer videos. It's BTS so we will watch it. Good reaction you guys, can't wait for more.
I love how RM categorized the percentage of their Success, instead of saying cliche things like "Oh I'll give 100% to our Fans"
He mentioned Everyone who is behind their Success, n thts a Great Leader right there.
RM is the leader and still is and always has been, those who said there was no leader, did they really not know that RM was the leader?
They mean there is no "main member"
@@contendedtea3733 It's not like there's a main member, but we all know that Namjoon is the leader and always has been.
The number 1s on iTunes refers to the album getting number 1 in the most countries
There's no "main guy" But there's a leader and that's RM, and he's still the leader, that's smth that's not gonna chnage 😅
LMAO, I laughed so hard at this reaction. You guys are funny, thanks for the video 🤣💜
😂 you guys are so funny. I also love the million pauses and questions

Thanks for the reaction i cant wait for the parte 2 💜💜
Then on 01 Jan every year you add another year to your age, no matter what your birthdate is. ....
Year of birth - International age at Debut on 13June13 (Year and age became trainee)
Jin 1992 - 20 yo (2011 - 18yo)
Suga 1993- 20 yo (2011 - 17yo) Suga started with MIDI at 11
JHope 1994 - 19 yo (2011 - 17yo)JHope started dancing at 8
RM 1994 - 18 yo (2010 - 15yo) RM started rapping at 11 and was well known in the underground scene at 13
Jimin 1995 - 17 yo (2012 - 16yo)
V 1995 - 17 yo (2011 - 15yo)
JK 1997 - 15 yo (2011 - 13yo) JK signed with big hit at 13yo
Rule of thumb - if it's before their birthday - subtract 2 years to get international age. if it's after their birthday - subtract 1 year to get their international age.
EG: TaeHyung (V) born 30 Dec 1995 ...... current International Age 27 (Korean Age 29). ... 2 years difference
So Tae born 30 Dec 95 is 1 year old, then on 01 Jan 96 he is 1 more year older (so they would say he is 2 years old, when we would say he is 2 days old.)
So he was considered 29 in Korea since 01 January, we would say he is 27 turning 28 in Dec.
You have to remember, it’s a totally different culture. And all information is googleable. Nothing but facts for BTS and ARMY.

They went to the United States for two weeks as part of an opportunity to be on a cringey reality show called American Hustle Life.

Bangtan Sonyeondan is still their name.

Yes, they were making music, touring, training hard for the dancing, doing solo work and OSTs and collabs the entire time they were also filming their variety series and their specials. Also getting their college degrees. I know....how can they do all this?? They are amazing. That's how. Also "In the Soop" means In the Forest. It's the series they used to replace Bon Voyage when the Pandemic started and they could not travel abroad and had to stay in S Korea. You can find their shows on their UA-cam channel

on Weverse, the digital platform their company created for them to protect them from mistreatment on other platforms, and you can find RUN BTS episodes here

The most recent shows are episodes of Suga's talk show called Suchwita, where he drinks and talks with various guests, including his BTS brothers.

I know others have said, but Leader doesn't mean the same thing in S Korea.

All the older members (Jin, Suga, j-Hope & RM) were like parents to the younger three, the Maknaes (mawk-nays) which means youngest, Jimin, V & JK. Jin most often made their breakfasts and lunches and drove them to school every day, looked out for them and mentored them. Suga and j-hope provided emotional support and Suga and Jin did a lot of the cooking like dinners. RM was an all around role model and mentor, as well as general minder and bossman.

That clip is from one of the vacation specials where they are in Hawaii, Bon Voyage Season 2.

End - Suga is an introvert but also secretly a squishy Pisces.
RM = 🐨
Jin = 🐹
Suga = 🐱
j-hope = 🐿
Jimin = 🐣 or 🐥

Yes, they were already big during covid, they got big in America in 2017. But the pandemic did give them a big popularity boost.
I like you guys friendship really fun to watch😂😂😂
Right😂😂😂😂
Your arguments are hilarious. I'm on the floor 🤣🤣🤣
You guys have me dying I throughly enjoyed this video 😂. Looking forward to more content!
Bad Bunny did a collaboration with them last year: ua-cam.com/video/BGNkkVrJZks/v-deo.html
BTS sold out all their world tours within minutes since 2015. Yes, included the USA.
I like your conversations and your discussions more than your reactions😂😂😂😂😂
Finally!!! 👏👏 Welcome to BTS world.... they have so much content to react....we purple you 💜💜💜💜
Yes, all of their videos are still either on UA-cam or Weverse.
“You are so generous and kind”
“You’re outgoing” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
RM has always been the leader of BTS since 2013.... I think you got it mixed up with "there is no one MAIN person in the group (ex: Justin Timberlake)" since they all are equally talented and essential! Also, their world tours and concerts always sold out within minutes so it's a real battle to fight for tickets.
BTS was big in the US before COVID. They have been winning awards here since 2017.
And yes, RM is still the leader.
You have the patience. I'm annoyed.
@@shotglassoftear I am extremely annoyed. I couldn't make it through the whole video. They make a lot of assumptions that make no sense and treat this whole thing like a joke. I won't be watching anymore of their videos.
Y’all need to lighten up a bit😂 you can’t expect everybody to know the guys, that’s the awesome part about seeing people learn about them.
@@jerseygirl6221 It isn't about not knowing them. It is about some of the things they say being disrespectful. But you go ahead and keep watching their channel. I have the right to say I won't.
@@Indigo_gwenexactly. Glad to see I’m not the only one noticing.
26:30 “you got negative rhythm” FOULLL 😭😭☠️
They sold out 4 nites at SOFI Stadium and 4 nites at Allegiant Stadium (multiple shows at Citi Field, Soldier Stadium, the Rose Bowl and many others) and have had have had several world tours including 2 sold out concerts at Wembley Stadium.
YALL ARE SO FUNNY idk why some people in the comments are tripping about the arguing i thought it was hilarious
To have the kind of friendship you guys have and work on, is one in a million blessing ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yoongi also had the best selling rap album of all time on debut day earlier this year. I recommend checking out his stuff since y'all mention rappers a lot
RM is the leader of BTS. He has been since the beginning and still is.
There’s a leader but not a LEAD person
The way they argued on which of them dances better to who dresses better 😭😭😭😭
They blew up way before the pandemic😉
All the clips from the shows you're seeing are when they go on vacation, or film vlogs. They don't have a show just based on their day to day life.
Vlive is an app where they can go live with fans, but it's also serves as like another UA-cam. So whenever something new related to them comes out, it will get posted on Vlive and UA-cam. ❤
Hi dears. 68yo Army here....and as a semi-pseudo authority figure I have one thing to say..."Don't make me come over there and separate you two.".....lol.
It’s more like brothers fighting haha

RM said he started learning English by watching Friends 😂 Nowadays,a lot of the members know a lot of English but i don't think they're as confident as RM to speak it but you can tell they do understand it in interviews
