- Hey guys I’m back with a video for the new year in this video I go through what motor mounts I use and how to install them also the knock off dirty dingo slider plates I use. One inch set back plates, stock LS exhaust manifold with aftermarket catless Y pipe and stock oil pan worked for mine. Good work keep it up 👍

I'm getting ready to rebuild the front end on my 98 GMC Yukon SLT 4X4. I know the upper control looks different from my c1500 due to it being 4x4, but are my lower control arms pretty much the same as my c1500? They look similar. When I go to order parts lower all say rwd....the upper moog control arms I ordered all stated 4x4.... I've never done a front end rebuild on a 4x4 only on my obs c1500.
Thanks for watching bro and to answer your question 2wd trucks and 4x4 trucks have both different control arms for upper and lower they are very different from each other make sure you order the right ones

I might have blown out the old v6 mounts and bolts with a "flame wrench" and used rivet-nuts to mount the new v8 mounts

Hey bro did you have any problems aligning the motor because im using the same knock off sliding mounts with new v8 mounts and i set the motor in and it looks a lil off to the right but cant seem to make it align straight
No everything on mine lined up even I didn’t have any issues

What headers are you using?
