No kids? Man, I’m almost 16 and I’d kill to go to Warped. 2019 would’ve been my first year to be able to go. This is extremely depressing.

Go next year. 2018. I'm not just saying that, like go haha. It's an experience like no other. It's summer, you got music playing every place you go, good food, cold drinks, and the non-profits that are there including some of my favorites like To Write Love on Her Arms, I Am Second, Keep a Breast, Music Saves Lives, and so much more. I'm 24, I grew up when this music was at it's Peak in the mid 2000s with bands like Sleeping With Sirens or Pierce the Veil or Paramore or Fall Out Boy and too many to name and Kevin Lyman was right where he's saying bands like Kneck Deep or Beartooth are the next generation. It warms my heart when I see kids dressed like me when I was 14, 15, 16 years old listening to the same type or genre of music I did when I was a kid because it got me through a lot and now as an adult, I feel a lot more confident in myself and I contribute that to this type of music. So do whatever you have to do to go. No money? Get a part time job now and start saving. No ride? Go with friends or they offer programs or buses to get there. I'm telling you right now, it's going to be something you don't want to miss, especially with this being the last run, it's going to be huge. People are going to be having fun, it's going to be awesome, and I bet you that when the day is over, people are going to leave in tears because it was just that awesome.

I was so saddened to hear about this. It's something I started to enjoy I think around 2010. Like, it gives fans and bands an unprecedented opportunity to interact with each other and exposure to smaller bands. I loved all the different organizations that had also become a staple too. Hats off to the man, Kevin! Let's end it with a bang!

That's so sad...I really wanted to go one day and after 2018 it will be gone..it's gonna be ending...warped tour was like everyone's Disney land.....it's just very sad.
Younger kids don't want to go out? Its the parents nowadays that won't let their kids out.....these millenials are privileged kids who have everything done for them. I have strict parents and they wouldn't let me go out, but they let me go to Warped also the year after. They were fine with it. Its these new-age millenials whose parents are keeping them inside because "its dangerous" for them to be outside.

Honestly more kids WOULD have come if he added more bands that kids liked. Most of the bands booked this year were older punk/metal bands that not many people under 25 know of. People were complaining about the lineup this year because of that. Yes, they had New Years Day, Attila, Beartooth, and I Prevail as well as Falling in Reverse in a few dates, but the kids want more like Pierce the Veil, Bring Me The Horizon, Escape the Fate, Never Shout Never. That's probably why sales went down and the average age went up.
Jared Land with me too. At first I complained until I listened to a few bands and decided to check them out. The first band I planned on seeing started at I believe 3pm so my friend and I walked around and stuff until then.
Way less post hardcore than there should have been last two years I MISS BOTDF AND THE WHOLE 2011 LINEUP
Craftah I'm a huge post hardcore kid and I was a bit disappointed. I just started listening to I Prevail a couple weeks after my Warped date and just now I'm getting more into Hawthorne Heights but since WT is marketed towards teens who like this kind of music, it should stay consistent. Then again, it started as a punk festival but nothing anymore is "real punk" it's all pop punk, metalcore, etc.
I loved the MySpace wave of electronic scene music mixed with metalcore back then and it really made sense in my opinion for warped
My god does your comment infuriate me. Ok not infuriate, but urks me quite a bit. YOU ARE EXACTLY THE REASON WARPED IS DYING. You fucking fangirls ask for the same shit OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. MIW, SWS and Escape The Fate have played this damn tour numerous times in the last decade. Never Shout Never doesn't sell records anymore, its not 2010. BMTH have out grown the tour, get over it and stop asking. The reason it's dying is because you refuse to evolve. SWS, FIR, MIW, MMF, ETF, BVB and BlessTheFall. All of these bands are waning in popularity and decling record sales. Your tastes have grown stale, face it. It doesn't help either that you gotta have a fucking genre wars. God Forbid some diversity. Whatever happened to unity in rock music in general. We're not exactly on top of the charts right now, incase you haven't noticed. So you shouldn't be so damn picky about what band, from what genre gets put on 80+ band tour.
I've never been to Warped Tour. I've wanted to go for the past 2 or 3 years though. It actually true that I don't really leave my room lol but there's also nothing to do in my town. And I live pretty far from where Warped Tour is in my state.

I'm devastated. When I heard it, I was actually so shocked that tears wouldn't come out. I've been into this genre for only some months now. But I got to hear new music that I never would because it is not considered mainstream. Alternative music has helped me so damn much. Warped Tour has been my dream, you know? Going there and seeing all these bands when I am of age, because I don't live in the US. Oh, and who I'd like to see? MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE. My dreams are dead, this is never EVER going to happen T.T

Warped tour is ending next year. All I can say is that my heart is sad and it’s a shame it has to end. But I understand Kevin Lyman when he says that it’s ending to cut costs and he’s just tired of touring every summer. Like the guy is ready to retire comfortably. I really hope something else will come around like warped tour to keep us alternative kids happy and give us something to look forward to in the summer

It’s so true. I work with youth at my job and the teens and preteens are always on their phones. They don’t want to do anything active anymore.
Compared to when I was their age, I was super active and so were all my friends.

It's a shame, a HUGE shame because it was a place for us to go and express who we are. It's an incredibly diverse place to be. They support thousands of charities and completely understand us and what we like. It was a place to discover new bands, new people; the world won't be the same for us alternative kids. #lastwarpedtour

I’ve been going since 2014.. it’s a summer tradition.. it gave me a chance to see bands that never come to Indiana as a headliner or opener..
I'm so, so sad I've been going to Warped Tour since I was 18 and I'm 26 now. This tour has been the place where I have found most of the bands I love, its where I've met alot of my super close friends over the years and its been the highlight of my summers for about 8 too 9 years. This news has crushed me and also makes me nervous for the future of some of the music. But thanks to Warped Tour I have some amazing life experiences that I can hold close to my heart and that I will never forget and to the people who never got to go and are sad I'm so sorry and I hope eventually another tour like this comes along someday so they may experience what I have. Much love to all the people who have kept it running for these past 23 years. R.I.P. Warped Tour you will be forever missed. 🙏🙌😞😢😭
I'm 19 and I never been to a concert in my life even tho I always wanted to. Just a lot of ppl who I knew like the same music I do either lived in another state or just weren't into that type of music that I am. I planned to go whenever I got to visit my BF, and he was gonna take me to one but...it seems I won't ever be able to so...I'm genuinely down about this.

They’re out of money, how about we hold a fundraiser every year before the tour starts to help pay? We could have all of us and even some of the bands pitch in and donate. This tour has been a home to me and thousands of other people over the years. We can’t afford to lose this, now we’re going to have to explain to our children what warped is and how it’s made such a big impact on our lives. Rest in piece warped, I hope on my life that you’ll come back. Until then let’s enjoy the last year and go out in style and rock, have fun! Be safe!

It's truly sad to see Warped to be on it's final year, I can vividly remember all the good times I had on both Warped of 2010 & 2011 :) Hopefully warped continues in some fashion in the near future. So If I had to pick a band I'd like to see on the final year of warped tour...I'd have to pick A Day To Remember :)

I’m very depressed I’ve been going since 6th grade when I got into this style of music mind you that is only 3 years but, it was always my highlight of the year, I also remember just standing crying meeting some of my favorite musicians like when I met Vic or Ronnie, they both told me that I was great and that I should try to get help for my mental issues at the time, thanks to them and there music I’m much better.

Fuck... I don't see why do mine wouldn't want to go to a concert. You get to meet your idols. You get to see the people that gave you the courage to save your own life, in person. That's SO fascinating to me. Next year will be the first and, I guess now, last year to go. I never had the money for tickets and I finally do, and now.its just ending. It makes me really devastated to hear that my favorite festival of the year is ending. I've always been a fan of the alternative scene and this music festival always was a chance for me let out that side of me and meet new people with the similar interest. I always crave that feeling of being at warped tour, hearing bands play, smelling all different types of food, feeling the summer heat, getting a bunch of merch, meeting bands, finding out new bands, etc. so it makes me really sad to know that after this year, we all won't be able to experience that feeling ever again. I do understand the whole fact about ticket sales going down last year, I know many people were complaining about the lineup and I was one of the people that didn't go last year, despite me making it a tradition to go to warped tour every year. I seriously regret not going last year. I just feel like there weren't as many bands that went where the majority liked them like ptv, fir, sws, bvb, bmth, etc so it's kind of a given that ticket sales would go down. But, I do respect Lyman's decision. He's tired, ticket sales are going down, the age that goes there is more in the older range, it costs a lot, finding new bands to come is hard, I get all that. It is hard to hear such a wonderful tour will no longer be and it would be amazing if someone else took it in their hands to manage to give Lyman a break, but all in all, I respect his decision and I'm so thankful for all the warped tours. As for the last warped tour, the only thing I'm asking for is bmth to go. I started going to warped tour the year after they went last and every single warped tour I've prayed for them to attend. If they go, I will feel complete. It's my dream to hear them perform. But if not, that's fine. I'm still definitely going to warped tour 2018!
Damn first warped tour I went to was 2000 in San Francisco at the piers when I was 14. I stopped going when I turned 22 in 2008. I even went to all the dates in CA one year. It brought a lot of good times and I definitely have all my photos from my disposable cameras and have all my old wrist bands and passes. I'm glad I had all those years to enjoy it.

I really want to go this year!!! My parents have never let me go before because they said that I was too young. Just this year I went to my first ever concert for Panic! At The Disco. I am also going to a Black Veil Brides concert for their tour next year. It would be cool if Andy Biersack would sing at Warped Tour again because I would really love to see his solo project, Andy Black, live.

Been going since 2012, not a long period of time whatsoever but all I can say is thank you to Kevin Lyman for bringing Warped Tour cross country. Wherever he stopped, people would come and have a hell of a day. Warped Tour is (in my opinion) one of the highlights of my and a lot of people's summer's. I really am extremely sad about this and couldn't stop getting emotional when this occurred. However, 2018 will be the last summer....right?? Wherever you're from, I highly suggest going out to this fantastic music filled day with as much friends as you can. Even if you have to drive a few hours, just go.....seriously it is 100 million percent worth the drive. It is definitely an enormous part of summer and I guarantee you. I guarantee you that you'll be amazed and so happy that you went.

I'm thankful that I got to go to warped tour once, I went during a time where some of my favorite bands were at their prime. I went back in August 2010 in Pomona, CA. a month before my 16th birthday. :-)
my 3 cousins and I, we had a blast that day!. We all drank monsters, ate pizza, went crazy in the crowd and made some good memories. It was my first concert experience and I'll never forget it. 🖤 I give thanks to Warped Tour. 🤘😊

My point is that these kinds of shows are usually once in a lifetime oppurtunities and if it means pissing off your parents and getting grounded for a week. It's worth it. Ill admit, i didn't have the STRICTEST parents in the world but they still wouldn't let me go to shows on school nights. You sneak out. Sneak back in through window. Go to school next day. Stop missing out on great memories because your afraid of the consequences that will seem so minor in the future. Live it up. Your parents will forgive with time. Trust.
racer24t school during Warped??
Yeah some states summer break schedule is different , Including mine (AZ). Start summer break in May and Ends Late July or Early August. In 2016, it was a school day for us. But that didn't stop me and my brother.
I'm crying like crazy. I'm thinking about going with my best friend to experience it with me
I'm so sad about this. I've never been to warped tour, and I'm hoping the last year I'll get a chance. I love the idea of warped tour, bringing music to people and letting people see the artists they look up to

I'm very sad to hear that warped tour is ending, I'm 14 and I play guitar and dream of being in a band and someday playing at warped tour, and not only that but I've never been to warped tour and I really wanted to go sometime in the future. Although I do respect their decision, they have their reasons, it's sad but they almost have to due to money. I hope other people can respect Kevins decisions as well.💕

I'm in a band right now and we have dreamed of going in Warped since we were 8 years old but I guess that will never happen. Kevin does need a break tho. Hats off to him for 23 amazing years

i’m in a band and ever since i got into alternative music i’ve always wanted to go to warped with my band mates , or even play on the tour . sadly it won’t happen tho . . ive always been too young to go and next year i’ll still be too young ☹️

I'm 12 years old and I went to warped to this year AND got called up and played Ohio is for lovers on stage with them this is so sad for me 😭😭😭
I'm really sad, I live in Brazil and I always have follow warped tour through the internet and one of my dreams was to go to the USA just to see warped tour, and maybe just maybe one day be able to play in warped, and it's sad to know that this dream will never come true, this is fucking heartbreaking 😢
