How about Black Gjost knife fish aren’t evil but people who keep them in Aquariums with other fish are ignorant.

@@TheTetraDude Yup they eventually get pretty big. I have a 8" one now. But no small fish so he should be fine unless my ornate bichir bites him again. B

I've been considering a black knifefish or banded knifefish for a tank that currently has a Senegal bichir (about 5") and a bushynose pleco (about 4") the tank is largely empty and I have two other tanks that are fully stocked. It's a 55g tank. I do intend to move the bichir to a bigger tanks as it grows. The knifefish could go with it. Would you recommend these two together? My bichir has never been aggressive to date. It was raised in that tank with two large and old weather loaches that have since passed away. I have concerns that the bichir may bite the knifefish or potentially the knifefish could try to attach the bichir's eyes. Have any advice or insight on this?

Hello! Thank you for watching and commenting. I personally have no experience with monster fish, so I can’t really help. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience. However, if you think that there is a risk, it is best not to.
