Hey friends! Welcome to Russian rural life! In this episode, we’re taking you to explore Alina's family's dacha-what they call a Russian garden-to experience their countryside life firsthand. From picking fresh-grown produce to learning how to do real construction work, and of course, experiencing the authentic Russian banya. This time around, I don’t plan on just messing around-I’m actually going to put in some hard work to experience it the true Russian way. Sometimes the world gets so caught up with chasing luxury and skyscrapers like they do in Americas, Dubai, Hong Kong - that we forget what it’s like to “live off the land” - using natural skills, and being about to DIY solutions.
What the Dacha experience appears to give to Russians is the ability to escape city fast life, and just take a step back and be human again.
It is great to see Justin do something which he doesn’t do often or at all in his native land.
I would love to learn how to build a house from scratch! How to make tiles! And to eat food I know is organic!

My step-grandma that grew up in the great depression here in the USA. She would eat onion slices like she was eating apple slices. It was so weird to see but she told me if you have to go through a depression like she did. You'll eat anything, anyway just to survive.
I am from Russia, I did not eat onions until I got into the army (Our compulsory service was for 2 years), in the army I was constantly hungry)) and I started eating onions and I liked it) What is surprising is that I went into the army and weighed 60 kg at 18, I came at 20 and weighed 83 kg))) But I was constantly hungry)) Maybe because there were heavy loads, I don’t know, but after the army when I cook some dish and if I don’t add onion it won’t be perfect, I like onions.
You guys are so lucky! Russian culture looks very cool. Id love to go visit someday!

Алина, круто папа сделал домик, все так надежно из жб блоков и плит. Потолки высокие.🤌👍Подвал тоже классный. Наверное все должно быть гидроизолировано. Я свой дом тоже проектировал и отчасти строил. Пристройки, террасу, отделку внутреннюю, проводку, сантехнику, отопление...
Did he try slightly pickled onion? i love it with herring and boiled potatoes,if you add a bit of sugar,virgin olive oil or light vinegar and crush it with your hands while mixing and leave it for a few hours to marinate it tastes amazing,removes that strong flavour. Its a healthy side dish for potatoes or meat.
Chicken is his love and Alina is his love. I would ask some questions if I was Alina😅

The vlogging photography and videoediting is getting better and better, for example interspersing drone shots and many angles through bushes looking for berries to pick. It looks good like you put a lot of work into editing this.

Those are definitely raspberries friends NOT cranberries - cranberries require a kind of bog moisture and are smooth and round. You can also identify by the leaf and thorns. Good for trying but you might as well know. Your mom probably knows Alina lol
i mean the ones you are calling "Malina" are raspberries not cranberries!

You don't wear the harness around your neck, instead, wear it like a handbag strap, over opposite shoulder. If right-handed, wear the harness over your left shoulder, across your chest, like a car seat belt as if you were sitting in the left side of the car. Adjust it so it's at the correct height for you so you aren't carrying any of the brush-cutter's weight with your arms. Once you get used to swinging it from side to side by swiveling your body at the hips, you'll be able to use it for hours without any strain.

It’s okay, Alina only knew 30% English on our first date and nodded at everything I said, but she learnt so fast by speaking with me every day!

Something like 3 or 4 years i guess
I think that Alina's dad started building the house 4-5 years ago and built it only during the 3 months of summer little by little
If these two globetrotters throw a 150,000 rubs, they can accelerate the construction and finish that house by the time these two visit them next year. Why are they not pursuing the fast route? Too poor or ?

Для этого есть другие блогеры. Кудрявый урбанист, например. Он любитель показывать грязь, если вам такой контент по душе, смотрите его.
@@_Shtosh_ ну уж, нет. Показала Улан-Удэ в неприглядном свете, хотя этот город вполне себе неплох и в любом городе грязь можно найти. Показала только одни минусы. В Новосибирске тоже много проблем, один Хилокский рынок чего стоит и в её Набережных Челнах проблемы есть, достаточно поискать в сети. Где же минусы этих городов? Чем же так Улан-Удэ не угодил? Нужно быть последовательной и показывать плюсы и минусы городов раз уж взялась за это. А китайцу её вообще нужно в тряпочку молчать о нашей стране.

За свои Набережные Челны девочка обиделась и сказала, что там всё идеально. Нужно быть последовательной и минусы других городов показывать раз уж взялась за это. Получается несправедливо.
