Here are a couple of tips for ship building. 1) The Ship Buiding skill unlocks a lot of new parts. 2) every big city (New Atlantis, Cydonia, Hopetown, Neon, etc) will have different stores with different ship parts, including different types of dockers that are in different positions than just on top. 3) building a ship is expensive, and completing big missions can help you earn more credits for it. 4) there are a few missiosn that get you free ships, those ships can ether be upgraded or sold for a good amount of credits. 5) sometimes you hage to upgrade a ship at multiple places in a steping stone kind of process, until you get all of the tings you're looking for.
Beef just store everything in your room In the lodge. You can run from the landing pad to the lodge pretty easily while over encumbered, especially after you get the personal atmosphere power. It’s unlimited storage and crafting pulls from it without having to go back.
You are doing great beef I won't fully watch this episode until hours from now because I don't have time right now but I just wanted to comment this, and also feel free to do exploring in moderation because as long as you do things in moderation everybody will be happy.
12:30 - Congrats on successfully modifying your ship. Looks nice, though if you'd have moved front landing gears closer to cockpit and all these extra cargo bays in the middle of the ship, it would've look even better.(imo) 😉
You were better off building a ship from scratch as you had 92k+, I had 85k and built a ship from scratch with 11k cargo and still had 20k credits left over!
25:48 - Dude, curing afflictions are pointless, wile you're still in the harsh environment and your suit's protection isn't sufficient to deal with that. There are way to avoid getting them: 1. Wait inside for weather to change. (In your case Freezing Rain) 2. Switch to the gear that have a better protection from that element. Also, most afflictions are not permanent and can be cured just by passing time.

The docker needs to be above all other modules, adding an engine in the very back of the ship should help
Beef calls his ship a behemoth, but hasn't seen the massive class C ships you can build, or the Vigilance.
Beef, just sleep in your bed and the effects will go away.
