I've been a huge fan of 50s and 60s music since I was 5, and been doing a lot of 50s-60s record collecting, 50s-60s music documentary watching on UA-cam, and studying up on a lot of doo-wop, groups, and singers for years. Even female artist! His singing is very similar to the male teen idols of the late 50s- early 60s. Preferably Paul Anka (my all time favorite singer), Elvis, and Cliff Richard all in one.
I love how Elliot's singing isn't all about him, and making lots of money. He's bringing back clean appropriate music our grandparents grew up on, with dancing, record and soda shops, and music tv shows. Thankyou for bringing back the 50s-60s Elliot James! Please keep coming with more doo-wop music. I absolutely love it!
