The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
I remember in my mission, my companion and i tried everything we could do to help a brother come back to church. we read, we prayed, we fasted, we taught everything, we became his friend, until one day we felt we needed to sing to him "how great thou art". He came back to church that following sunday. Music especially hymns have a power we can't imagine, they impact directly into the human soul.
The best part about this video is: the woman could have argued that she had every right to be upset and angry. She could've felt justified in never apologizing or asking forgiveness. But she didn't. She swallowed her pride and admitted to herself that she wanted to be better and kinder than she had been. She wanted to change from a good person to a better person.
That's what the teachings of Christ do to us. Change bad to good and good to better.
I am not a mormon. But I really need to admitt that this is awesome......

Absolutely beautifully done! I'm a retired News director, and I used to work for CNN headline news radio. this rings very true to me! Although I hope I didn't treat any interns that meanly LOL it makes you stop and think, we all live in a separate reality. Sometimes we're assuming things about other people without knowing full story. At first it just seem like this intern was a slacker. Then reality he was grappling with the fact that it could've been his friends that were killed his university. I remember starting at CNN during the Gulf War and how stressful that was! But I love about LDS church productions and I'm in LDS convert from Jewish background. Is that they are very professionally done, and extremely relatable. Thank you again!!

We sure need this... Knowing God is with us all, is comforting. Sure you go through all kind of trials.. but at the end of the day, a prayer of thanks for your life, for the opportunity to be here.. no matter how bad, the gift to us all, is Salvation, and Eternal Life.
I've been LDS most of my life. Only recently was I converted. I would have great challenges & did not face them. I would try & run away & hide. My prayer life was anything but cool. I didn't take advantage of the power of prayer.
Now I pray for everything & my life is wonderful. I know longer just leave things to chance. I face my challenges & ask Father to bare my burdens & He does. I am happy now & my joy is full. Prayer is the single most important thing in my life. I know Father loves me.

Funny. I found this right after I had stumbled on some very disturbing news that left me really troubled. So grateful for the peace it brought.
We never know what a person is experiencing or what trials their going through. Acts of kindness can make all the difference.
What a special privilege to know that Our Heavenly Father and son Jesus lives and that they stand behind us uttering still small voices that "Worry Little" we are behind you. I firmly believe that as we abide with them, they will continually abide with us and make us stand steadfast and live with them someday.
"Oh Savior, stay this night with me. Behold, tis even tide." (Hymn # 165) During the turmoil of depression and anxiety I retired to bed one night. I sang this song through my tears. I know the Savior knew what I was feeling and going through. He knows what you're going through too. In our darkest moments, we can cry unto a Savior and He will surround us in His loving arms and we are never alone. Never forget that you can pray. Prayer keeps me going. God hears and answers prayers. He knows you individually and cares about what you are going through. He never leaves, He is always there.Seek Him as you search out your heart and as you see what He desires of you. He desires that you come unto Him and learn of Him. The Savior said, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." He loves YOU! He wants you to be happy. He can show you how. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches me of God and brings me closer to Christ. Check out this church, it is wonderful! :) I know it is true. I am so happy! I know the Savior lives. This is my testimony, In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
There is no way that we can find peace in our live without the help of our savior.
In a world full of anger and violence, I am thankful that I am able to go to God in prayer when I need His strength which is all the time. There is so much good in the world but it is not shown.

I've been going though some extreme anxiety lately like in the past couple of weeks. My job cut back my hours drastically and money is very tight. I've been worrying about becoming homeless. Not only have I been worrying about myself...but everyone around me. My mind has been on an amazing race. Insomnia and no eating hardly. Point is...I can so relate to this video so much!!! I am that lady per say.
It is a wonderful thing to be a member of the Lord's church I look forward to every Sunday, to learn more and grow in faith. Scripture study is at top of the list each day.

I love this talk. It gives such clarity to a parable that always left me with some questions. People are the jewels of this life, and loving and forgiving each other is the glue which will take us back to our Father in Heaven, together.

Any Color can remind you of The Atonement of Jesus Christ, because Jesus Christ Atoned for the whole earth, and the earth is more than one color.
From The Atonement of Jesus Christ, anyone from Adam and Eve the first two people on the earth, in the beginning of life witch is person on the whole earth. People can share love. Because without the Atonement of Jesus Christ no one would be able to repent forgive keep God`s Commandments and so forth too.

My initial thought was what an impatient supervisor this guy had; without thinking she might have been dealing with some of her own issues. Then it occurred to me that she, after seeing her coworker was a former student of the college that was attacked in the video just made that same realization that I made about her character...then as has often times happens to me when I've lashed out, she felt chastened and sorry for being so insensitive. Brings to mind a scripture a close friend of mine told me about: D&C98: 40 "...and as oft as thine enemy repenteth of the trespass wherewith he has trespassed against thee, thou shalt forgive him, until seventy times seven." I'd like to think the man in the video forgave her for her insensitivity.
This says to me that we spend too much time "praying" because the world is out of control.............what are we to do?

Jesus never said abide "with me" and nor did He ever say that He would carry us to the cross nor did He say go to the foot of the cross. Jesus was plain and to the point! He said abide IN ME! He said pick up your cross and FOLLOW ME. Those who follow religion are not following Him for He came to do away with religion not establish one especially one that teaches false doctrines not founded in Scripture.
If you listen to the words of the song, it's not Jesus speaking. It is someone who is in need of Him. Someone who is reaching out to Him and asking for the peace and love only He can give. Has there ever been a point in your life where you fall to your knees and pray, "Lord, help me."? He is there. He is always there in our hard times! I know it. I have experienced it. Having said that, Would you be willing to listen to a brief presentation about my religious beliefs given by two excellent missionaries? :)
dvsor2800 I dropped to my knees the first time and called out to Him. Ever since, He was IN ME. He gives me more and more of the Spirit as I abide in Him. I appreciate the offer to hear your religious beliefs but I must be honest. There is no religion that I will submit to. Religion is man's way of trying to explain and worship God. We cannot worship Him in this world. We must go to Him in Spirit and in Truth. Please turn from religion and seek faith that can only be given by Him through His Spirit. God bless you and may His Light shine on and in you.
twowitnessesoftheson Abide with me is hymn. Read Luke 24:29 and you are right we should abide in Him, but when we need comfort and peace in this crazy world, we can pray and ask for His Spirit to be with us.
These reflections are definitely important, and I often do them as well. I find that the more I turn to our Heavenly Father in prayer and study the scriptures the more I feel His guidance towards where I can find his gospel and how I can recognize and have Christ atonement in my life. I'd like to invite you to do the same - ask in sincere prayer.

All I see is crappy things happening. I love you all but I just want to make it clear that some people don't need the belief in god to want to help our fellow humans. Belief in positive thing is positive belief.
