    surely would connotate the morrigan to dis pater, before ever the dagda, but i've run into the opposite of this.

      thank you, for your swift reply, and post on celtic mythology. just saying, out here the dagda is associated with hades, and the morrigan not with aphrodite, as much. i mean i associate the dagda with zeus, but there is that whole rome ruled the world fiasco.

      @@stenpod9368 It's hard to make these associations, if you get for example the norse mythology, ever single god is also a god of war... Trying to extract some logic from these stories is really difficult, specially for the older ones. The accepted interpretation these days is to accept multiple faces for the gods and some regional "fine tunning" through the history.
      Even the new celtic/druid paganism movement we have today, had to re-write these attributes to make a concise pantheon, covering all the aspects of the life. I tried to use the older interpretation I could found to not enter too much on the modern paganism structure.

      @@RisenScarab this is true it's almost tedious to reflect on a mythological lore that was handed down orally, with no written record.
