I thought you live in California. Did you trailer your scooter here?

@@DaBinChe Sorry for the stupid question. I just realized that's why it took you 4 days. I also noticed that you participated in the Scooter Cannonball Rally. I would love to participate next year, but after watching the other videos, I'm not sure I'm ready. Can I contact you to get advice? Or can you mentor me?

@@andrew203 It only takes the will to do it. The hardest part of scootercannonball is getting to the start. Go on the scootercannoball website forum and ask away. Everyone has their own take and approach to doing scootercannonball. You can start by riding your scoot everywhere. Don't use your car. Commute with it and if your commute is short take the long way. I can take the highway for my commute but choose to take the long twisty way, adds 15-20 minutes but worth it. Check out my commute videos under the Rides playlist. This riding everyday will get you into riding fitness and also you'll learn about the scooter more too, all it's quirks, etc. scootercannoball will shorten the maintenance interval by at least half it not more.

@@DaBinChe Thanks for the encouraging words!! I'm not concerned about endurance. I've ridden from California to Colorado on my Silverwing 600cc. But not sure I trust a 150cc for such a long ride! I heard you had a belt break on the last cannonball. With your knowledge, I'm sure it wasn't too big a deal, but I wouldn't be so confident if that happened to me I saw another rider report that he had to change his rear tire 3 times.

@@andrew203 Never had a belt break on me. Last SCB I was on a Super Cub with a chain..did have to replace it in NY state on the way to Maine. I had to change my rear tires several times too.
You have a SH150, yes? If so it'll do fine on SCB. Start with new tires, belt, variator/rollers, spark plug and it'll be fine. Bring an extra belt/variator/rollers/sparkplug tools to do that change and tire repair (rope plugs). That will be the only things I'll bring to the next SCB.

If you didn't make this video, I wouldn't believe it was possible to do Pike's Peak in a scooter!!!
