So once I put that you know line down, that’s when I got the axe…It was one specific incident, so I’m just gonna leave it at that, cause I don’t need to go into details…It was not a wrestling related risque thing, I did Playboy…it’s just behind the scenes stuff"
A lot of people have come to the conclusion it was christy hemme. The big pay off of 7.5 million. I think she reluctantly gave him the blowjob and just hoped that would be enough for Vince. He probably wanted to continue that relationship and get the whole enchilada. She probably felt bad doing it in the first place. Then when she told Vince NO after blowing him once, he was probably enraged. I mean shit I would be. I wouldnt force a chick to blow me, but let's say she blew me, and I was like Hey what's up, and she tells me, sorry we cant continue this relationship anymore. I'd be pissed, heart broken etc but I'm not in a position of power like Vince. Vince is, and he used his power to force her out. Which is fucked up.
Christy Hemme seems be the person in question. At the time people thought she was having an affair with HHH and got binned for that. Though it seems it was Vince
Hemme also gave birth to quadruplets in 2018, which might explain the delay in approaching WWE about a payoff. That's a lot of diapers to fork out for.

Re: the manager in question. Given the limited number of managers it narrows it down. The one that mostly closely matches the description is Terri Runnels. She made TV debut in beginning of 96 but might have signed in 95. She left 2004 (fired for undisclosed reasons) which covers 10 different calendar years. $1 million NDA signed in 2006. ngl, when I saw this in my recommends my initial thought was "Oh boy, this'll be good!" When I read years ago about Wendi Richter quitting WWF in the 80s because Vince sexually harassed her, I'm ashamed to say that my initial reaction was "... that _can't_ be right." And yet, here we are...
What is the penalty for someone talking after signing a Non Disclosure Agreement? People break laws all the time but almost NO ONE talks after signing a NDA...why?
They didn't talk. More than likely someone found/was given the records. Even if they did break it NDAs are toilet paper especially if you are famous. If Vince did sue it he looks more like a petty old man than he already does, the media scrutiny would get crazy, it would sink the stock price. All the that would lead to him being removed via a vote of no confidence based off diminished mental faculties. And yes, Vince will fight it but he would lose because just he did to his father his kids will turn on him
What about the female wrestler who told Vince she was abused at the tribute to the troops thing and Vince told here don't say anything cuzz it will make the company look bad
@@alexogilvie6595 I was joking ffs, and since you're being serious and all, one of the allegations go back to 2005, another in 2008, as well as others. Just saying.
Feels like these revelations could be a part of a power play within WWE. Someone or someones trying to kill the king and take over. Because if this shit has happened it has happened over a lot of years and people definitely knew about it.
That's too much of a conspiracy theory at this point. Taking out Vince wouldn't be an assured means to gain power, it would be a means to potentially cause the entire company to implode. Smart business people don't involve themselves in risky power schemes, when the outcome is unknowable.
@@craighaley1658 Not much of a conspiracy theory when it's a fairly common way of taking out the head of an organization. And the narrative that WWE would "implode" without Vince McMahon is nothing more than that. WWE has grown far too big and professional for that now.
There have been stories of Vince doing things like this for years. The only reason why he's been allowed to get away with it for so long is because wrestling is such a historically sleazy business that most of the mainstream media overlooks it. Plus all the top brass in WWE is a good old boys club of perverted old white men who run the business like they think they're in high school. If Vince was the owner of a major sports franchise or any other industry, he would've been forced to resign by now. Just look back at all the major players in sports and entertainment whose careers ended due to sexual abuse allegations over the last five years (Matt Lauer, Harvey Weinstein, Jerry Richardson, etc).
The class B shares make it considerably unlikely anybody else can "take over" There'll always be a McMahon at the helm, which means Vince will always be running it - he can give "advice" to whichever family member over the Sunday dinner table
People are forgetting that the years this supposedly happened where prime years in the political career of Vince's wife. Yes they have an open relationship but she might not have wanted all the dirty details to get out at that time.
And that's the saddest part of this all. He's gotten away with this behavior for far too long. The moral of this story is that you reap what you sow and what's hidden will come to light.

It sounds like they were having an affair before she started with the WWE. They met at the condo building they both live at. My guess is they struck up a romance a short time after meeting and she came running to Vince in need of a job because she possibly lost her old job and feared losing her condo so he referred her and got her hired on at the same starting salary as all other legal assistants in the WWE. The class B shares thing is the reason Vince hasn't been shown the door at this point. I lot of people just don't understand how shrewdly he insulated his own power when setting up the IPO. Bryan's right in that it's not like buying normal stock.
While I'm not sure on the manager in question as far as the talent I do have a guess who it could've been. Christy Hemme who was on the main roster was sent back to OVW and then released in 2005, but the real reason I think it's Hemme is due this interview from 2016 she did when asked about her WWE release:
“I’m a strong woman that lives by my morals, and if you ask me to do something that’s not within my morals I will say no.

I thought the same thing, and everyone does say Stephanie is the "Vince-ess".
These are all just allegations and I have no inside knowledge but based on info from the WSJ report this could be a match.

That said, listening to Jim try and square all the revelations about Vince with what he knew (or thought he knew) about the man was kinda heart-breaking. When I read years ago about Wendi Richter quitting WWF in the 80s because Vince sexually harassed her, I'm ashamed to say that my initial reaction was "... that _can't_ be right."
And yet, here we are...
That wasn't why she left. She refused to sign a contract on the spot, and was double crossed in a match so she left.

Exactly what I was thinking
The class B shares make it considerably unlikely anybody else can "take over"
There'll always be a McMahon at the helm, which means Vince will always be running it - he can give "advice" to whichever family member over the Sunday dinner table
We almost got Jim to say “rumor and innuendos” at the end.

What’s come out these past few weeks is probably like 5-10% at best in total of such activity all these years for Vince

True. Linda McMahon ran for US Senate in 2010 after planning to do so for several years before. She spent $50 million dollars of her own money (and Vince's money) on that campaign. That spending kind of puts the hush money in perspective.
