Yea! I live on the SW coast of Australia! Seen a few Noah’s as I love to free dive for abalone and crayfish (lobster) . Lots of seals and even more great white sharks. They are a very efficient and intelligent predator. I’ve bumped one off and swam at speed from a few. They are not to be fkd with. Most people have no clue they are there until the teeth sink in. Evolution has provided them the perfect camouflage. Blue grey skin on top, bright white belly, as they hunt from below, thrusting upwards to strike, like I said most don’t see the coming. Come to Australia for a holiday but, be smart.

Me too. They were my favorite animal. I did a report on them as my favorite animal in like 4th grade.
Love you hank and scishow team! Fk yeah! Keep up the good fight
I always loved the thresher shark ever since I went to the birch aquarium on a field trip when I was young. I thought it was so cool that a shark could be like a whip. Very cool to see it get recognized
I work on a trawler, we once caught a very big thresher. When in came in the boat I only saw its tail, it was so long I thought it was an eel
Wow, that Indiana Jones shark really cranked my gears! Cool!
Before watching I hope one of my favorites the thresher shark is in this list.
Edit: Wow it was the second one, letz go!
Great episode! Hollywood makes some fun stuff, but nature has so many more interesting things for us all to find. Loving the show. Keep up the great work.
8:31, how the hell does blue light, one of the most easily attenuated wavelengths of visible light, make it deep into the ocean? Shouldn’t it be red?
Most kids love dinosaurs when they're little. I was fascinated by sharks. And the thresher shark was always my favorite.
You know what is really funny? Sharks with human teeth.
Maybe we have their teeth?
And the teen sharks had braces
Homodon should be it's name = human teeth
Hank is the best
Dude, what about the ninja lanturnshark, the cookie cutter shark, and chimaeras?
Chimaeras aren't sharks
Chimaeras are *NOT* Sharks. They're closely related to Sharks.
@@syedzafran2682 Thanks bro......I actually did not know that
Heicpion is more closely related to chimaeras than sharks
@@p-26gang91 heicpion? Did u mean the extinct shark helicoprion?
Great analysis of unusual shark adaptations! Loved the sci-fi comparisons too.
Every single "up next" recommendation from UA-cam for me is a variation of the "baby shark" song.
Same
Hank for President!
What?! No cookie-cutter shark?! OUTRAGE!!
Hank saying "sneaking up on its prey. Extra super creepy!" Is why I love Hank. X-D
I am concerned about youtubes video recommendations....It gives me kid cartoons to look after this one?!
Excellent job with the greenland shark animation! Its adorable 💙😍
Clicked on the video cause I saw what looked like the Greenland shark, still one of my favorite sharks ever
I knew about these sharks already, but your insight was fascinating!

DADDY GREEN!!
Heck yea, scishow uploaded!
After your woebegong section I had to put you on hold and go look for pictures of one. They are amazing, such graceful swimmers and when you see their patterns they are awesomely beautiful. They call them carpet sharks but I've never seen a carpet that lovely. Their "snatch" is way scary though, so fast and such a big mouth! Eeeekers. They don't chew, just swallow it all whole. As always SciShow opens my eyes to something completely new; thanks guys and gals!
