Lao food is pretty diverse and more complex than most people realize it to be. For being a small landlocked nation, it sure has left lasting culinary influences that still makes an impression on other surrounding neighboring countries. Heck, even Lao people don't even know about some of the different dishes and variations from other regions of Laos! Even if you're lucky enough to try Lao food (remember if the restaurant is labeled as Lao-Thai or Isan Thai, you're going to usually find some authentic dishes), there's still a good chance you haven't tried it all. I know that for me, it is very hard to find certain Northern Lao dishes (most overseas Lao diaspora are from Southern Laos), so I rarely eat at any Lao or Thai restaurant. I am still forced to cook some of the regional Lao dishes I was blessed to be exposed to at home.
HiHai Ladi we are united by love of food, traditions and culture. The best recipes are passed down from parents. Youngsters don’t cook or do dishes nowadays, spare the child spoil the child, they become rotten adults.
I live down in Richmond, VA we have this incredible place called Temple. Their food is amazing.
My grandma just recently went back to stay in Fresno. Bout to come check that place out when I go visit my grandma.
My parents always took me and my siblings to BK. We lived down the street so we would always walk. REST IN PARADISE MOM AND DAD ❤
Come to Hawaii OAHU there is thai and lao restaurant in maili named spicy house..my aunty owns it and shes straight from laos

Been there once and never went Back! Thai Phuket has way better food and plenty of choice to choose from! Not to mention their Laos also but don't know why they use Thai name to attract more costumer I guess. Or maybe it was their smart business mind that kick in 😅 and it work, it's always busy and pack there!

Everything was cool, except the chef used the same cooking utensil to taste and cook the food. Then the other chef mixing the shrimp straight used his hand to taste it. 🤭
I was going to say that...if the chefs wanted to taste, they should use another clean spoon and not his/her own fingers/hand...
