This song was released as part of the video game Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. The lyrics are a reworked version of the poem Sautod, released by Till in his book Messer.
I think this is another fun song about hunting but not for deer but for a female. There is a lot of hunters speak (almost only) but one thing is very clear "I sweep the bast from my horn" - because "sweeping the bast" from his antlers is something a stag does when his new antlers grow, not something the hunter does, and especially not from "his horn". And he begins with "I am in heat" meaning he is horny.
The Song is ambiguous! Obviously it's about an Animal Hunt, musically the Horn Sounds at the Start of the Hunt, Hunter's Language is used, so all clear! But it could also be a Human Hunt for a Woman, which in my Opinion is very likely! What are the Indications? A female "Animal" is being hunted. A "Kahlwild" is a female red deer, a "Schmalwild" is a red deer that has not yet calved. Another clue is the Line of Text: "Und bis zum Morgen sitz ich an - And until the Morning I sit on" A Hunter does not hunt a red deer at Night, I am not a Hunter, but I think the Hunt goes from the early Morning Hours into the Day! So, for me, this is about a Sex Offender, a Manhunt. To the Blunderbuss: I saw a Video of a Concert in Russia and it bangs loudly during this Song. I think there was a technical error at this point during the MSG Concert! PS: Another Song I can recommend is "Spring" (2004) and "Dalai Lama" (2005)! There's a really well-made Fan Video for "Spring" and a Fan Video for "Dalai Lama", which isn't exciting but fits the Song and has English Lyrics. (There are plenty more great Songs from Rammstein, so your Rammstein Journey is far from over!)
I definetly love your R reaction ❤…we have same taste for this. I also love heavyness and riffs…I enjoy every one , thank You so much for this nice pause during day to watch this
Best Song ever!!!!!!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍 This song contains a lot of words that are used in hunter jargon: Blattschuss/"Leaf shot: is the direct fatal hit to the heart with 1 shot Schmaltier/"Small animal": In hunting terminology, the female animal of the deer species red deer, fallow deer and sika deer is referred to as a small deer. " Der Spiegel glänzt"/The mirror shines: In ungulates, the mirror is a white or light-colored spot either around the anus or a lighter marking on the back of the thigh. In German hunting terminology, the mirror is also referred to as a disk in roe deer and fallow deer. "Futteral"/Pocket:is the pocket where the weapon is inserted on the body "Ich fege mir den Bast (Bass?) vom Horn"/I cut the bast off my horn: Bast is the name given to the skin of freshly grown antlers that the buck is itching for. Many a hunter wipes the excitement from his forehead "Ried"/Reed is a tall, reed-like grass "gestrichen Korn" The front sight is the correct sight picture when shooting with open sights, i.e. with rear sight and front sight. With a coated front sight, the shot sits where it should. An incorrect sight picture would be, for example, full front sight (shot too high), or fine front sight. (Shot too low) I give her a "coated front sight" means that he has hit the game well. hot: is the direct fatal hit to the h
