Nice shot! I remember when I went and caught my first mess of fish as a young boy. It was on a lake a few hundred yards behind our house in the country (Enid, Mississippi). When I got back home, I skinned the fish with a spoon like Daddy showed me. That night Mama cooked the fish for us and said, "You're becoming a good young man - bringing home the meat!". You know, right about then I felt about ten feet tall. 😁 Regardless of the game, it's nice to supply a good, wholesome meal for your family. Congratulations, Avery! Good job to Dad for taking you hunting and keeping you on the blood trail to your game.
That was your decoy passing. 9times out of ten there’s a buck following her that just left the country especially if it was a old big fella. I found out years ago during rut to let the doe,s pass on and sure thing there would be a nice buck close coming in and sometimes three or four but the big one is going to be first but sometimes the big one will be lagging behind the younger bucks and sends them on ahead. I’ve got more bucks like this than anything. I’ve got one huge 12 point on the wall that came out following a doe just after shooting time. He’s a good 180 class which most of these Georgia bucks is 150 to 180. Your daughter was proud of that doe and that’s good and it does give her practice. Great video. I loved hunting with my children
Forgot to put on her hearing protection hanging on the log in front of her. With that muzzle brake I bet she regretted that! LOL Congrats on a nice doe.
Congratulations young lady you did a great job harvesting that deer , We hunt in Georgia to I have 5 grandkids and 3 of them hunt , to me that’s what it’s all about , being with them at the deer camp . My Son has a you tube channel to it’s called ( Norton Outdoors ) check it out one day and give him a like and subscribe, We do most of our deer hunting at our lease and some at different WMA’S .
