I just purchased a 1973 MGB in Black Tulip with Ochre leather interior. The previous owner installed a Tremec 5 speed transmission. It's nice to cruise American interstate highways at 70 MPH and be @ 2500 RPM on the tac. I also have a 1969 Triumph TR6 I've owned for 35 years. I love the smell of walking into my garage and having it smell of old British sports cars! It always puts a smile on my face.
Outstanding video and presentation.
What's the best way to look for rust under the car when buying from a private seller, when you can't jack up the car?
Lay down beside the auto. Use a mirror and a flash light. Poke at the underside. You'll know when you've found the rusty spots.
wow that first shot looked like my 67 roadster in French blue, such happy memories
Thanks for this info. Very useful.
French blue is the best colour. Beautiful car. They just need a lot more power. About 150 bhp.
