*NOTE* Even in this 1 1/2 hour video, there are still a few stories that were unintentionally left out of this video. One piece brought to my attention that is VERY important was Nikita's diagnosis with bipolar disorder. You can read more about it here: www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/nikita-dragun-bipolar-mental-health-pride-182110481.html and more details about her mental health after her arrest here: www.tmz.com/2022/11/12/nikita-dragun-checks-into-mental-health-facility-following-miami-arrest/ As one person working alone for 10+ hours per day on these projects, I do my absolute best to create accurate and thorough videos. However, only having one set of eyes, I do miss information. I ask that you please continue to let me know when I've missed something important so that I can put the extra information in a pinned post. I appreciate you!
Mmm… I am so sorry you missed such an important piece of information. I was thinking bipolar while watching the entire video, without really knowing she was diagnosed with it. I hope she finds her peace.
You made an entire video about a person's behaviour and mental health whilst missing out their entire mental health diagnosis?!?! How can you make a video about a persons behavior and mental health and behaviour and miss out on the fact you had no idea they had bipolar?! Its so relevant to all you're discussing?!
@@portiaantoniaalexis2249 I agree! Nothing I came across said she had a diagnosis. I only knew when someone pointed it out after the video went live. If you want a literal answer as to how I missed it it’s because in my 20+ hours of research, I didn’t see it. If I had, it would have been in there. I felt the responsible thing to do would be to pin a post with the information and resources to add to the story.
I have bipolar disorder, and I am incredibly frustrated with celebrities like Nikita and like Kanye West who, in their wrongful actions, perpetuate the stigma that people with bipolar disorder have faced for decades. Let me be clear: Racism, sexism, homophobia, bigotry, entitlement, and violence ARE NOT symptoms of bipolar disorder. These people are not only dangerous to neurotypical people, but also neurodivergent people. It is incredibly frustrating that these celebrities and their wrongful actions are considered “representatives” of bipolar disorder and intense mental health disorders.
I agree and disagree. I agree 100% about Kanye West. He's doing so much damage to the Bipolar community. He's an absolute train wreck that refuses to treat his BD. He is everything that perpetuates the stigma surrounding BD. But I do disagree about Nikita. Now I am not a Nikita fan at all. I can't stand her TBH, but she has had 1 "public" episode, not several. Her bad behavior is not BD, it's just bad behavior. You have BD, so you should understand that there is always another episode. Another episode always happens even when well medicated. It might be months or years away but it always comes. We can't stop it and it isn't our fault. What is unfortunate about Nikita is that people went digging and found her arrest information then publicized it for the whole world to see. It didn't need to be public but people made it public for Tea. You didn't mention Gabby Hannah, another person I can't stand, but she, imo, is much more on the Kanye West side of the spectrum. She also does a crap tone of damage to the BD community. She makes her own BD public makes herself a damn spectacle.
@@casca.forgot I am not talking about episodes being the issue. I never said the word “episode” in my original comment. What I said was that racism, sexism, bigotry, entitlement and violence are not symptoms of bipolar disorder. Because they aren’t. What exactly do you disagree with that I actually said in my comment? I’m frustrated reading this because it puts a lot of words in my mouth when I never said or implied them. I was incredibly careful with formatting and making my original comment so it wouldn’t be misconstrued, yet here we are anyways.

Opening the door with a meek and mild ladylike voice like she's all concerned and confused only to turn on a power voice to say "you don't speak to me" is so wild. Girl, I support being proud of your body and your identity, but if you wanna walk around nude, they have entire beaches for that.
I am bipolar and I have had very similar episodes. It seems to me that she did not take her medications or was not medicated at the time. It is very important to properly take psychiatric medication.
@@kombuched7481if you turn into megalomanic asshole to the point police have to intervene, understand you deserve because of the choices you made so sick of bpd weirdos coming out and projecting onto a mean girl.
The speed of internet celebrity is so wild. I still feel like Jenna marbles quit UA-cam two years ago, meanwhile there’s UA-cam kids who’ve never even heard of her 😭😭😭
The fact that she gets not only a "pls don't do that" level of security officer as well as a "hey, don't be like that" police officer AND a "oh, I know who you are" female booking officer in a quiet, secluded holding area and STILL devolves into assault and casual racism is just wild to me. The kiddiest of kid gloves were used and STILL it's a complete mess. edit: I've seen the full videos, this has been edited probably for time.
@@snipingway Yeah seeing the way she was acting I feel like she should've been admitted to a hospital or psych ward for psychiatric help especially if the situation did devolve into assault like Aeryn says, she was potentially a danger to others and that could be enough to get involuntary admittance to a psych ward. Sadly the police in the US really aren't trained to handle or deal with people who suffer from psychiatric issues, so while the way they handled it would have been ok for someone that wasn't going through any mental health issues, I feel like it was very mishandled for someone who was obviously in a mental crisis. I hope later she was able to get the help she needed tho. the fact they put her in the mens unit is foul too.
You just can’t help but notice, even as someone that didn’t get into YT until quarantine, that every internet drama has to involve J. Star. It makes me think of something my mom always said when I was growing up, ‘if there’s a problem everywhere you go, you’re the problem.’ Not to say in his case he was the only problem but he def seems to always be there.
I started watching makeup videos on UA-cam since 2009 and can confirm that if there’s big drama in the community, J. Star is either the instigator, he’s either involved, he’s either inserted himself, or he’s somewhere lurking in the background. At this point, drama might be his talent
he’s 100% the problem and he’s still doing it! he did not need to be apart of the Mikayla mascara drama and she didn’t even want to talk to/about him but he inserts himself to stay relevant
I never liked her, Jeffrey Star or anyone in that group. They were being blatantly racist and destructive and so many people defended and excused their behavior. It made it really difficult to be a beauty fan for a while.
People are extremely blind to famous people. Those people were not nice & thats what bonded that friend group. It was also their demise, you cant put bad people in a group & expect them not to shady stuff to one another.
Just wondering how many of us would want our mistakes constantly thrown up and put out there for other individuals to capitalize on? Seems like it's a real trend to keep people in the limelight for their own advancement. Social media feeds on this bs.
@janicestewart8291 Racism is not just a silly mistake a person makes when they're children and it's not just a teenage faze. Racism is poisonous deep seated hatred that harms people everyday, racism still gets people killed to this day. So no sympathy here, if you don't want people to keep bringing up your past, then keep your disgusting behavior out of the public eye.
To me, the way she treated Bretman's sister always spoke to me about her character. She was always just bad vibes all around, which is sad given the representation she brought forward for the LGBTQ community.
Lesbian here Nikita is one of those people - like Blaire white - where we have to unfortunately remember being part of our lgbtq+ community DOESNT make you a good person 😭
People always talked about how Manny MUA was a social climber but as soon as Nikita’s friends left her her views drastically went down. Do y’all remember her pop-up shop? There was like 10 people there!
I remember that pop up shop disaster. Her products were for a very niche market, and they were of cheap quality. She could have leveraged her fame to create a much bigger impact in the community in terms of products.
My mother was a drug user with bipolar disorder. Nikita's behaviour in her arrest video was all too familiar. Whether it was just alcohol or mixed with something harder, she definitely has something in her system in that video that is worsening the effects of her mental illness
For me, the falling of beauty channels from the mainstream and being replaced by true-crime and video essays on the top of what people like to see on UA-cam now is soooo satisfying... those creators were so toxic and corrupted and you couldn't stop hearing about a new drama and new scandals over and over.
Agree. There became soooo much backstabbing, drama, and catty behavior in the beauty community that I had to just stop watching. What had been entertaining, informative, and educational just became too toxic. Many beauty influencers took things way too far and let their "15 minutes of fame" make them think they were invincible. IMO, the majority of Only Fans accounts are started by people who can't make it creating more mainstream content, or by people who are making a last-ditch effort to save their sinking ship. I was sad to see Nikita resort to that.
Lol true. I also love how the people talking about murder are somehow weirdly wholesome but the people talking about paint for your face are toxic as hell
I’m Latina and Asian like Nikita, and it’s sooooo hard finding Lasian representation. So learning that she’s one of the few mainstream Lasian influencers out there makes me very sad. I also feel bad for trans people since she claims to be an icon for the trans community.
@@Li_Tobler well I just realized that Fred Armisen and Bruno Mars are Lasian. Vanessa Hudgens is the closest mainstream female celeb I can think of, but she’s half Spanish, not Latina.
With the police footage I watched in full, it is the processing officer in holding that she is squaring off too, and I loved the female officer "ma'am this isn't game of thrones" 😂
Btw she was NEVER in the men's unit She was in a HOLDING CELL I wish peoplewould stop using "mental health" and a clear excuse for shitty actions Nothing like perpetuating stigma
I just think it’s funny though that Jeffery’s fans were trying to find racist tweets that the others put out as if there isn’t literal video footage of Jeffery star being extremely racist. (Everyone was in the wrong here. I just think it’s funny and ironic)
Right? Plus Jeffree and other (w.) gay makeup influencers REALLY leant on Black aesthetics, Black slang, etc. and being a culture vulture is also a form of racism. 🙄
My husband of 35yrs died from complications from COVID. I'll never forget or forgive those that played with life like it meant nothing to them. While the people they killed loved life and would change places with the Nikitas of the world in a heartbeat.
I'm so sorry for your loss. It's infuriating how people can be oblivious to someone else's reality. Just because no one is suffering/suffered from COVID in your circle doesn't mean it's not true.
She clearly thought she was above the law because she was...pretty? And because she made UA-cam videos, I guess? Unfortunately the fame brainrot really messed her up.
@@MiniMariannaaprobably a mix of both tbh. when you mix coco cola with alcohol it turns into a completely different substance in your brain and turns a lot of people who are not usually combative very verbally & physically violent, even people that are not usually aggressive when using just alcohol or just drugs.
Nikita's arrest is why rich people that like to "party" need to have a crew around to handle them. Even a yes man would protect their meal ticket by apologizing/bribing the hotel guy, or just speaking on her behalf to deescalate. There's this other messy youtuber (has issues, refuses to get help) that has "bodyguards" that really just spent most of their time keeping the youtuber from getting arrested.
I will always love the moment in the bodycam footage when she drops to the ground and the cop just like sighs and looks at her for a moment honorable mention for the "girl this is not game of thrones"
I am ashamed to admit I laughed and said "she's so dramatic" to myself, then I realized she's in mental health crisis and I shouldn't have laughed. It's so complicated because many of her problematic decisions were made intentionally it seems, but the actions during arrest do seem to be in the throes of breakdown.
I was never a Nikita follower, just knew of her, but you kept me enthralled throughout this video. Well done on an excellently researched and engaging story
People seem to forget that a ton of these influencers were reckless during the pandemic. Patrick Starr, Emma Chamberlain, etc... I don't know how people can support them anymore.

I mean, yes, I get that in the moment they wouldn't know, especially when the bottle opened on impact, but then knowing that it's water and still calling it assult is stupid. They should have the charge saying that the water bottle itself was the battery, not the liquid.
@@lizzyrank5405 it wasn’t an assault charge it was a battery charge. They are different. Think of it in terms of pulling a gun on an officer. Does it make the situation less dire when the offender’s gun was unloaded? It doesn’t because the officers have no way to know it is unloaded. My husband has a scar on his leg from working a protest where his boot, pants and leg were burned by a substance thrown at him. It is dangerous dealing with people who are acting irrationally wether from substances or mental illness.
@starlinguk Battery is the act of aggression towards someone. It doesn't matter what the itemnis i.e. "juat water". It is the intention to harm or intimidate that maytrts. Just because she delt a certain way didn't entitle her to get away with this behavior toward hotel staff and law enforcement.
@starlinguk It's battery to throw things at people. Throwing things at people is wrong and can hurt. This is a concept toddlers learn. It is not hard. It is no one's job to be someone's punching bag.
Seriously you need your own documentary series. This was so well researched and amazing. When you busted out the clip of the judge from her previous viral video I was like 😮. Amazing work
they always find a way to sprinkle that one in somehow lol. guess she drank right from the source of the poisoned well though. israel is pretty damn good at public relations (manipulation of the truth, fabricating history, guilting and shaming people...) unfortunately.
The video of her talking stuff to a female officer and talking about how the "real" woman looked is disgusting 🤮 that told me all I need to know about her as a person
I worked in correctional facilities as a nurse for about 7 years. It says she wasn’t taken out of a holding cell so most likely she was in the intake portion of the jail alone in a cell. She’s a high profile case being a “celebrity” and to protect her they would keep her alone in intake. Now I never worked in FL so I’m not sure how it’s done there. There needs to be change to keep transgender individuals safe while incarcerated. There’s been changes but it’s going to take a long time unfortunately.
Regardless of her questionable character, I do hope she was not put with males in jail or holding. Doing that to someone just seems cruel to me, even if they are a bad and disrespectful person.
I think the controversy with her graduating was not that she didn’t graduate, but that she said that she graduated first in her class… which implies that she had the top grade, but she actually just walked first at her graduation 🤣🤣
@@rationalskeptic1 she exploited and abused kids for profit and lied about all of it. She also abused her first husband and lied about it too. That’s the tip of the iceberg though, there’s hours of videos of screenshots, or swoop had a good docuseries on it last year.
I'm only 3 minutes in and realize how out of touch I am! A couple of months ago my coworker asked if I "contoured." I had to Google what that meant and landed on Robert Welsh. Now I'm catching up on DRAMA apparently! Yes, I live under a rock guys 😂 .... a rock of single parent and work too much
Not only that but the security guard so skillfully recognizing her manipulation attempt and shutting it down with "We as a *united front* ..." I'm so happy to see cops humanely arrest a trans poc woman and respect the black security guard - letting him handle it until she committed battery. I have a degree in Social Sciences and have read a lot of studies and well researched pieces about the U.S. justice system. I feel bad that the situation happened in the first place, and have sympathy for Nikita being clearly unstable. But I'm so so happy to see that the response from security and police was pretty much as respectful, professional, and smooth as it possibly could be.
As someone from northern europe, I found the scene to be pretty "normal", because deescalating conflicts is just what police does here. It's always pretty schocking to me, that in the US, this is something more unusual.
@@calihhan4706 our military gets so much $ that they frequently get new equipment. They run out of room so they give it to our police forces. Our police forces are already kind of trained to think like the streets are a combat zone so that's not a great combo. Also, we have no nationwide database of law enforcement officers. This means many cops get fired (for everything from bad paperwork to things that would put civilians in jail), and just move to a new district. Clean slate. A lot of things don't get reported to the news since departments don't want their reputations ruined. But it's even worse when officers have moved departments multiple times and been hired because the hiring officer didn't bother to do a Google search.
@@calihhan4706 Unfortunately, a lot of police departments don't have much in the way of funding, and as a consequence they don't get the proper training in how to de-escalate a situation. Not excusing the bad ones, mind you, but there are probably a lot of mistakes that have been made by overall good people who just didn't know how to handle things the right way. When you don't have the money to pay for proper training, and don't have many veteran officers to balance out the inexperienced ones, things can go really bad really fast. There are some good ones out there though. A couple years back (in rural Missouri surprisingly) there was a man of color that was going from one county to another, in full tactical gear, trying to steal cars at gunpoint, at the gas station in the small town by me. I don't know/remember all of the details, but was up all night watching the police updates online. At one point he'd holed up in a drainage ditch for a while, and a family member of his posted that he was unwell & she was in contact with the police the whole time. The police basically just herded him back home. He got home, they waited until he'd gotten sleep, then went and picked him up the next day to take him to get medical treatment. As much as I dislike being in such a rural and conservative area, having a special needs stepson who likes to roleplay as law enforcement or criminal, I do feel like he has a better chance here if there's ever any type of misunderstanding.
I'm now thinking, what are the others involved I dramageddon doing now? I remember how girls would fight in morphe to get Jeffrey star make up. Now no1 talks about or buys it.
Throwing the water in the face and the blatant disrespect of the cops was shocking. Thankfully they handled the situation well with her. Im surprised her family wasn't able to help her before she got to such a reckless point. At the same time I know it's hard to help someone that doesn't recognize they need help. Seeing a judge show emotion and genuine care for someone in court was nice to see.
I adore that video to be honest. Watching the black security guard get respect and cooperation from the cops was so refreshing and hopeful. Then, the guard not only recognized Nikita's attempt to manipulate the cops into taking over, he so skillfully shot it down with " We, as a *united front.* " Impressive as hell! He read the situation, read her manipulation tactic, and kept everyone on the same page to deescalate the situation. Those are the skills our cops need tbh. To these cops' credit, they very quickly took control when it was time to do so, without making things worse or disrespecting anyone. I want every police station and Sherrifs office to watch that and see how it's done. Honestly everyone involved (except Nikita lol) perfectly demonstrated how to be composed but ready to act - and only when appropriate to do so
That whole arrest was tragic, she seemed really mentally unstable. Despite how atrocious her behaviour was and how little affiliation I have with her fandom. I felt compassion towards her in that moment. She clearly needed help. I hope she’s getting it. Growing up queer, coming out as trans being as famous as she is would come with a lot of different traumas. Making a fake front of impervious dragon scales seems like a very human reaction to the juxtaposition of power and rejection she would have encountered. I don’t think her trauma has made her act as good person and letting that guard down now after decades of needing it (due to a lack of other healthy coping strategies) will take a huge amount of effort and self-awareness; she may not be capable of. I won’t hold my breath for change, but I see a broken person and I can’t help but feel sympathetic regardless.
Ugh I so wish you did videos on topics other than beauty! I normally binge deep dive and true crime stuff, but you’re literally one of the best reporters I’ve seen on UA-cam and I wish I could watch you discussing other stories. I've been an inmate more times than I care to admit (heroin addict, FORMER heroin addict, clean for over a decade now), I assume that she was able to get ROR because she pled out to get ROR. Happens all the time. You ALWAYS want to "fight the system" and plead not guilty, but if you're not used to jail/prison and that public defender says "I've spoken with the prosecutor and they are willing to drop charge X and reduce charge Y to a misdemeanor if you plead guilty and you will be out today on ROR." you jump at it. I've seen it all the time, I've done it all the time (being in full withdrawals will make you agree to anything if you'll be out). What's super funny, though, is that when you get called to the that table to deal with your case and you say "guilty" when they ask, the judge then goes into a set of questions before they will officially accept your plea. These questions include "Do you understand your charges and what you are pleading guilty to?'", "Has your lawyer explained the entire process to you and what a guilty plea entails?" "And do you understand that a guilty plea will be on your permanent record and you cannot later decide to go to trial?" and, the funny one: "ARE YOU MAKING THIS PLEA BECAUSE YOU ARE TRULY GUILTY AND NOT BECAUSE YOU JUST WANT TO GET OUT OF JAIL?"
same, i just hate the undisclosed ads that she's been exposed for on tiktok. i do still love nikkie and her power of makeup video is still something i go back to when i feel down.
I remember watching Nikita and a few other beauty bloggers back when I just started learning English, and honestly she was one of the first trans people I’ve seen who “made it big” without going stealth (hiding a queer identity), and it made me, a trans person, hope for a bright future. It is kinda sad now watching her being surrounded by controversies and fade away.
@Deevine_ but made it going stealth and only came out because she was blackmailed which makes it worse because it wasn't really her decision or personal timeline, it was expedited by a bully.
OMG the arrest!!🤦🏽♀️ I have to say as far as cops go, ESPECIALLY in Florida they were really great at deescalating which I love to see. In way too many instances they escalate an already bad situation so I think that helped a lot. So sad, I wonder wtf was going on with her.
My guess (and Im not diagnosing anyone online) is some sort of substance abuse. With mental health related stuff, people will react appropriately when they have knowledge they have done something wrong. She demonstrated understanding at the time.
I didn't feel bad and that did not happen. In the end it was a solitary unit. Listen to Nikita talk to the officer lady, attacking her looks,, being aggressive, screaming that it's a man's world. When push comes to shove, the real face comes out.

Throwing a SURPRISE party with no masks and hundreds of people during peak pandemic: NOT SLAY Creating a campy mother Mary candle fearing a trans woman: VERY SLAY
Yeah I don't even understand why she had to apologize for the candle thing anyway. I'm not a fan of her, but the prayer candle has been done hundreds - if not thousands - of times with celebs like Harry Styles and Lana Del Rey. People put fictional characters on them too. It's really not a big deal.
Yes, those candles crossed over into kitsch long ago. A little more vulgar than I personally like, but we certainly don't owe any apologies to the catholic church.
My aunt was recently gifted one by a family friend. The candle has my aunt as La Virgen de Guadalupe. That aunt (and that whole side of my family) is Mexican Catholic. Laughs all around, tbh the candle was the least concerning of Nikita’s controversies.
this sums it up so perfectly lol. i dont do the “problematic fave” thing; if you’re aware enough to know that something is wrong, your support/affinity should adjust accordingly…BUT i have so many conflicting feelings when it comes to her. i’ve seen videos of her being genuinely caring toward other people, or legitimately funny, and….ive seen everything else. like campy candles and joint defying edna mode cosplays are hilarious, covid denialism and generally being a menace are not. so instead (for me) she falls into the category of i hear one single racist, transphobic, or misogynist comment about her im shutting that shit down, but i definitely agree with the rest of the criticism. a very ambivalent place to be for sure
I have been watching makeup UA-cam since 2009 and I am proud to say not once have I watched a Nikita Dragun video. She never came across as a good or even entertaining person.
That police footage she was 100% in a mania/euphoric state . I've gone into a one of those before and it is scary asf . Those moments really can turn you into a monster for life if you dont wake up from them
Nikita knew she wouldn’t have a good time in jail knowing her situation. But still had the audacity to actively seek the arrest and then complain about it.
Seeing her getting arrested honestly broke my heart. I don't think she's a nice person, but it's not nice seeing someone clearly going through a mental health episode
Yeah. It's best to have a structure where there is a dept of people who respond to mental health crises and non violent situations separate from the police who are trained to think of the streets as a battlefield. Given we don't have that though, the situation was handled as well as it possibly could've been. I'm grateful for that and so impressed, especially by the security guard
Oh boo. Consequences of her bratty and entitled actions. That arrest was hopefully the wake up call she needed to GET HELP. Yall glamorize mental health but the reality is she likely hurt people her whole life and needs medication and intervention
@@a.rae. who was glamourising this? nobody thinks this is aspirational or cool we want her to get help because yeah, sometimes mental illness (in addition to other things she was experiencing) can make you act bratty and entitled. I condemn a lot of Nikita’s actions, but I do feel so bad about her psychotic break. As someone who is bipolar type 1, I can’t imagine my mental health struggles being in the public eye. Edited to add: placing a trans woman in a men’s unit is cruel and just plain dangerous.
fr even in the federal prison in Orange is the New Black, they had allowed a trans woman. it’s kinda weird why they did that, especially when her charges was minor assault 😭
Consent doesnt exist for inmmates, healthcare isnt a priority and minor risks of pregnancy turn major because the system will not coddle you even in life threatening situations...
If they have a peen, they should be in a unit of people with the same equipment between their legs. They can’t risk grape and pregnancy. If she already had bottom surgery then it’s different. And also - it’s her fault that she got arrested. The cops gave her so many warnings before arresting her. This is all her doing, she was more than old enough to know better.
@@MsSwthrt102 usually depends on the prison. some judges will send a transgender person into their birth sex group because that trans person could easily be posing as the opposite sex in order to assault the sex they're posing as, but there are certain cases where a trans person, Nikita for example, would obviously not have the power to overcome a woman let alone a man so there are huge risks in sending a woman like Nikita in a prison filled with touch starved men

Just one thing: to me it is obvious that the line "that is an outfit" is not a compliment. She responded in a very unbalanced way, but I do not see it as unprovoked. I enjoyed this video. I used to enjoy makeup years ago and slightly remember some of the influencers but not Nikita. You did a great job 👏🏻!
I didn't know her before I watched your video. It was very interesting. I think for a young person to grow up and transition in front of millions is very much not a normal situation. To find your path while you earn so much money being a persona online and to figure out who you are and what you want in life behind a camera... I'm just glad it's not my journey. but thank you for that very interesting video, Jen!
I am loving your behind the controversy series! I have now watched them, just finishing James Charles part 2. Thank you for your excellent research and work!
I like the way you made this video. It's so human. I'm not a fan of Nikita and will never be but you made this video with care and from a good perspective that is easy to digest as well as watch.
Jeffrey also said that he doesn’t care about pronouns and you can call him anything, you can even call him alien and now he’s flipped and he’s on this right wing bullshit. It’s so messed up.
Yea but why? I get it if someone was hydrophobic cause that can cause real damage, but a water bottle(assuming it's plastic) and water isn't gonna hurt anyone.
@@lizzyrank5405It's because you aren't allowed to put your hands or any substance on another person without their consent. It doesn't matter what the substance is.
She seems like she was great when she was younger. And she has always been stunning. I didn’t know about Nikita until Dramagedon and it was noticeable that she got away without any impact. Then everything I’ve seen since has just rubbed me the wrong way especially during COVID.
Interesting that dramagedon might be over Nikita being trans, and somehow Jeffree would be on the right side? He definitely has transphobic views nowadays.
honestly given how also Manny was calling him racist with his own history/current (at that time) friends, it feels like the whole group was just horrible in general and had ultimately petty reasons to hate each other, but found "appropriate" reasons afterward to slap on last minute to justify their drama.
First time ever watching a makeup reporter archeologist journalist! It was so informative! And your delivery!!! That voice of yours too! Awesome! I’m subscribing.
I think Netflix needs to some how make a series out of dramageddon 1,2 etc. It was truly nuts seeing it all unfold on our screens. It truly was the most entertaining trauma series of a life time especially in real time. I think there is so much to learn from these situations especially from a viewer perspective. It’s important to set expectations when following an influencer and choosing who we follow wisely. Even better if they could manage a reunion or just statements from each influencer involved.
*NOTE*
Even in this 1 1/2 hour video, there are still a few stories that were unintentionally left out of this video. One piece brought to my attention that is VERY important was Nikita's diagnosis with bipolar disorder. You can read more about it here: www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/nikita-dragun-bipolar-mental-health-pride-182110481.html and more details about her mental health after her arrest here: www.tmz.com/2022/11/12/nikita-dragun-checks-into-mental-health-facility-following-miami-arrest/
As one person working alone for 10+ hours per day on these projects, I do my absolute best to create accurate and thorough videos.
@@jenluvJen you are a boss

👏👏👏
Couldn't have put it better if I tried 👍

The kiddiest of kid gloves were used and STILL it's a complete mess. edit: I've seen the full videos, this has been edited probably for time.
The situation was a mess because she was in the middle of a bipolar episode. BD episodes are messy and unpleasant to witness let alone be involved in.
It seems like she was going through an obvious mental health crisis.
I started watching makeup videos on UA-cam since 2009 and can confirm that if there’s big drama in the community, J. Star is either the instigator, he’s either involved, he’s either inserted himself, or he’s somewhere lurking in the background. At this point, drama might be his talent

Yeah that happened with james charles, there may have been others but it happened with him specifically.

I really like how you talked about her in a positive light. I’ve only heard her be talked about in a negative light. At the end of the day she’s accomplished a lot
Nikkie Tutorials was always the most genuine of the "big" influencers to me.
Ikr! She seems so much nicer.
I love her so much
But even she has become untrustworthy in the TikTok era with undisclosed ads, I miss her UA-cam content back in the day
same, i just hate the undisclosed ads that she's been exposed for on tiktok. i do still love nikkie and her power of makeup video is still something i go back to when i feel down.
I wouldn’t agree with that now. 5+ years ago, I would have said yes but once anyone mixes with J*, they are forever tainted and can’t go back.
Nikki Tutorials is trans also
@Deevine_ but made it going stealth and only came out because she was blackmailed which makes it worse because it wasn't really her decision or personal timeline, it was expedited by a bully.
Jen- another great comprehensive video. That bodycam footage is NUTS, I hadn't seen it before!!
Thank you, Miranda! I really appreciate you watching!!

On a serious note, I did feel bad for her when they said she had to stay at the men’s unit. 😕
I didn't feel bad and that did not happen. In the end it was a solitary unit. Listen to Nikita talk to the officer lady, attacking her looks,, being aggressive, screaming that it's a man's world. When push comes to shove, the real face comes out.

Throwing a SURPRISE party with no masks and hundreds of people during peak pandemic: NOT SLAY
Creating a campy mother Mary candle fearing a trans woman: VERY SLAY
Yeah I'm trans and Christian and if it was madeby an actual cool and good person, I'd absolutely support and maybe even buy a candle from them!

You keep seeing yrself dig a hole deeper and deeper and get meaner and meaber to the people who are just worried for you , and everything becomes a hairline away from just exploding .
@@lizzyblitz07 definitely, i was pleasantly surprised with how it was handled!
Oh boo. Consequences of her bratty and entitled actions. That arrest was hopefully the wake up call she needed to GET HELP. Yall glamorize mental health but the reality is she likely hurt people her whole life and needs medication and intervention
@@a.rae.…so she’s a mentally ill person capable of harmful behavior, just like everyone else? What’s your point?

I condemn a lot of Nikita’s actions, but I do feel so bad about her psychotic break. As someone who is bipolar type 1, I can’t imagine my mental health struggles being in the public eye.
Edited to add: placing a trans woman in a men’s unit is cruel and just plain dangerous.
Rapid Cycling BD II, here, and I completely agree.
fr even in the federal prison in Orange is the New Black, they had allowed a trans woman. it’s kinda weird why they did that, especially when her charges was minor assault 😭

Mika’s rhetoric did a whole dramageddon 2 video recently focusing on the rhetoric and aftermath of it all.
Just one thing: to me it is obvious that the line "that is an outfit" is not a compliment. She responded in a very unbalanced way, but I do not see it as unprovoked. I think this is what happens most of the times with Nikita: she has her walls built so high that any *perceived* threat is met with disproportionate rage.

(I learned a HUGE LESSON!!) since then I’ve only been pulled over once because I inadvertently made an illegal left turn (it was the last day of school so the the police officer chose not to give me a ticket).

I didn't know her before I watched your video. It was very interesting. I think for a young person to grow up and transition in front of millions is very much not a normal situation. It truly was the most entertaining trauma series of a life time especially in real time. I think there is so much to learn from these situations especially from a viewer perspective.
