On the invitation of Rajkumar shukhla m. Gandhi came to chamaparan and seen the portable condition of farmer due to cultivation of indigo.the British expiolted the poor farmer and say that to follow the Thinkathiya system. Then mahtam gandhu started Champaran satyagaraha was started in1917 in champaran(motihari and batiya).

reason- against the forceful cultivation of Indigo, but that Indigo plantations reduces the fertility of land and also it gives very less cost benefit. Soo againt this ghandhijistarted satyagraha in the year 1917.... tht was the first which defines Non Corporation movement

Champaran satyagraha was the first satyagraha held in bihar Champaran in 1917 . In this satyagraha Gandhiji was called by raj kumar shukla and satygarha was against teen kathia system. Of Britishers in which Britishers forces peasants to grow indigo in their land in the ration of 3/20 means they have forced to grow indigo in 3 parts of land. And Indigo cultivation leads to barren their lands .... So Gandhi ji raised their voice aginst this system .. in this satyagraha. Dr Rajendra prashad supported gandhiji .

Gandhiji's philosophy is great theoretically , but practically no country in the world follows it . Non violence acted as a big sleeping pill to the bonded Indians , which immensely helped British .
