What a week that was! My Dad won the Gold Quartet Medal in his 34th year as a Barbershopper! And then understandably cried like a baby at the end. I did too!
I would go on Thursday evenings to listen to AoH rehearsals when I lived in the St. Charles area. Just loved listening to them. At that time, I was a Sweet Adeline singing in the St. Louis Harmony Chorus.
I remember when internationals was in Seattle. Local PBS station was offered all access to everything for free. The couldn't be bother to walk across the Seattle Center to any of the events
