True competence is knowing when to say I can't do it yet, but I will be able to. I love how she pushes herself to her limits, but then steadily expands her limits. There is no benefit to going too far too fast when it keeps you from achieving your true goal. There are so many cool things to learn from her.
Adding my challenge idea here again. Challenge: Bring back Yongbob and try out making some art using spray paint! It's very simple to do and a lot of fun! Even beginners can make some pretty cool looking art pieces! Plus I know I'm not the only one here who misses Yongbob! I have some examples on my channel if you're more curious about spray paint art!

Solar is too humble, 120kg in total is amazing, a lot of us can't even lift 100kg total. She is 44kg with 16% body fat and 20kg muscle. Doesn't that mean she's 1/2 muscle??? She's too cool and hard working

Weight lifting is all about technique and self-motivation to push the limits...I'm glad that the instructor is guiding her on each step but without willpower, you will never achieve your goal and Yongsun has an iron will, she knew this whole project will be difficult for her but she still took the challenge head-on, I'm always blown away by her never back down attitude🤩. I'm so happy to see her smile after she was able to lift those weights. I hope she knows that she is inspiring so many people through her workout videos, she is a motivation to all of us🥰. Don't worry so much about dieting! Tone is important and by doing your crazy cardio and mixing in some light weights the tone of your body will look way better than when you diet. IMO. You're such a beautiful woman so do this for health! FIGHTING!!

Excellent point. She's been dieting hard, so can't be expected to build strength and lift heavy weights. My unpopular(?) opinion is that she looked fine before and didn't need to lose that weight. Most kpop idols are just too thin these days.

But she's doing it for just certain amount of time, so she will be fine. On a positive note, she gained 20kg muscle mass. I'm sure she knows what she's doing. And it maybe really hard but I think she's looking at the bigger picture. These efforts may bring her a lot of opportunities in future.(like pole dancing, truck license, solarsido)

I've never done this test before, but it looks like the difficulty isn't just the weight, but also balancing the bar. At first I worried whether her small frame can handle it, but those worries were quickly and easily washed away. Solar-nim jjang!
Olympic bars have some "marks" (you can even see them in the video) where you can guide yourself and put your hands, so you can center the weight easily; but yeah, if you don't balance the weight and lift it from only one side you take the risk that the disks on one side fell and you can even put your life in danger. As advice, and to finish, If you ever try this, and this situation happen, you just drop the bar and run away from it xd
With proper technique and training, you’ll be surprise how many people with small frames out there that can lift nearly triple their weight. Her form on the deadlift and squat is pretty solid though. Being that she’s an idol, with their insane work ethic, if she chooses to continue to train the three workouts she’ll perfect these lifts easily. Love that she’s always challenging herself
A lot of it is less about the actual muscle's ability to lift the weight and more about the body's ability to stabilize and adapt its nervous system to the new weight. Also core control is essential. It's important that the lifter is keeping their entire body tight and controlled. No energy leaks. Stabilize your core. Slow and controlled. Normally you warm up with weight much lower than your working set and build your nervous system up to a max lift attempt. Also, I wouldn't recommend the first time trying the big three to try and get your max by going until you fail a rep. Results are going to be extremely poor compared to if you had started with lower weight to learn the movements and stabilize your core over a few weeks. I imagine the trainer did some of this with her before what we see here. Still, it seems she was mostly attempting these without prior experience in them. Learning a new lift and maxing on it on the same day is just... I'd rather it not happen. But, again, the weight really wasn't that heavy. It's not that her body couldn't lift some of those weights, it's just that she hasn't adapted to it yet.
Solar is way above the idol material. Her determination to take over new challenges and isnt afraid to take risks. She is easily versatile in her hobbies, talents as is her music discography. Fighting solar unnie

Olympic bars have some "marks" (you can even see them in the video) where you can guide yourself and put your hands, so you can center the weight easily; but yeah, if you don't balance the weight and lift it from only one side you take the risk that the disks on one side fell and you can even put your life in danger. As advice, and to finish, If you ever try this, and this situation happen, you just drop the bar and run away from it xd
With proper technique and training, you’ll be surprise how many people with small frames out there that can lift nearly triple their weight. Her form on the deadlift and squat is pretty solid though. Being that she’s an idol, with their insane work ethic, if she chooses to continue to train the three workouts she’ll perfect these lifts easily. Love that she’s always challenging herself
A lot of it is less about the actual muscle's ability to lift the weight and more about the body's ability to stabilize and adapt its nervous system to the new weight. Also core control is essential. It's important that the lifter is keeping their entire body tight and controlled. No energy leaks. Stabilize your core. Slow and controlled. Normally you warm up with weight much lower than your working set and build your nervous system up to a max lift attempt. Also, I wouldn't recommend the first time trying the big three to try and get your max by going until you fail a rep. Results are going to be extremely poor compared to if you had started with lower weight to learn the movements and stabilize your core over a few weeks.
I imagine the trainer did some of this with her before what we see here. Still, it seems she was mostly attempting these without prior experience in them. Learning a new lift and maxing on it on the same day is just... I'd rather it not happen. But, again, the weight really wasn't that heavy. It's not that her body couldn't lift some of those weights, it's just that she hasn't adapted to it yet.

솔라씨, 한국에선 3대운동이라고 하기는 하는데 사실 벤치, 데드리프트, 스크워트는 파워리프팅에 속하는 운동들이라 주로 3대에 1RM을 합친것을 powerlifting total이라고 하면 될것 같아요 ㅎㅎ 운동 파이팅이욤
