- Chapter 4 part 3 released. And here we are, at the mirror dungeon for it. Chapter 4 has so far been a wild ride so I can't wait to see where it ends... I mean, it better end with Dongrang getting ratiod, but I digress.

Most sane person in the city(Speaking words that mean nothing and suicidal ideation is honestly pretty sane to 99% of Cityfolks):
You know, at first i wasnt really onboard with the whole *"sinners having to do a stageplay"* thing.
But then i realized that part of the reason why PM chose to advance the story that way is probably because they realized that in order to delve into Yi Sang's backstory they would need to design actual character models for all of Yi Sang's old friends that were just faceless background NPCs up to that point and hire new VA's to do their voices/make the VA's that they already have try to do distinct enough voices for these new characters.... Or just do the stageplay thing.
There really is a *"we didnt have enough time/patience to do actual characters"* vibe all over that section once you realize that and it has made me enjoy it so much more.
Its also pretty funny seeing them act
Also introducing those characters through sinners, we get a good idea of what they were like
As Hong Lu's and Heathcliff's examples have shown, sinners-actors share a lot of similarities with their roles.
For example we can assume that member represented by Sinclair is pretty timid without any line directly saying that.
So that saves on writing too.
Does it not also resemble LobCorp HQ, no? Ayin/Dongbaek's mind manifest as buildings structure instead of bodily EGO, a script that has to be played to the T so the Light would appear, and then there are the sinners as the sephirahs as well
Its possible yeah, but the stageplay was very fitting for Yi Sang in my opinion
I thought it was just a way to show how Yi Sang might’ve thought other sinners resembled his former compatriots and to get them to actually interact instead of just sitting around watching
Considering Hong Lu's upbringing, I'm not even surprised that he is such a good actor. Dude mastered the art of masking to survive shitty environment of his family (which is toxic enough in the original book and PM will surely exaggerate it up to 11).
He is probably not even that dumb and just faking it for the sake of holy lulz.

So I noticed a small trend that I am theorizing. The chapters are currently going in order of who greets Dante first. Gregor, Rodion, Sinclair, Yi Sang, Ishmael, Heathcliff, Don, Hong Lu, Ryoshu, Meursault, Outis, Faust
If this is the case, your beloved Faust will be the last to get a chapter. And that means next season/chapter is... Fishmael
In limbus roadmap, the next event is somewhat related to sea and ship and shits since its name is Strange seas ahead. So it can be Fishmael in the next chapter

So Dongrang was a good person before K corp, very sad to see what he has become.
A place where the rich can even take color from the poor huh makes me wonder what type of luxury the actual head must live in if it's possible to even take color what else can be taken I Wonder.
T corp gives a whole new meaning to earning the status of a Colour.

i just wanna say the way Hong Lu started acting his role perfectly and with no hesitation is mad suspicious for someone who's meant to be a dumb and naive fish out of water,
hell even Outis stumbled a bit at the start and she acts all the time but Hong Lu? his acting was as smooth as Sinclair's legs. or maybe he's just used to "roleplaying" for Dante i dunno
To be fair, Hong lu is not exactly dumb, just insanely ignorant.
Also it isn't to far fetched to think he (and maybe sinclair) could have participated in something like a play trough their education at some point.
a trend with hong lu is that he's more competent than he appears
he often points things out others miss, and on a meta level so far all of his identities are at least decent in combat if not incredibly strong
Probably a small hint to the fact that Hong Lu is used to play roles. Maybe he even plays one when speaking with sinners and Dante regularly.
Probably his base sinner saying "family is really like a safe place and not like a bunch of vipers trying to bite each other" has something to do with this.
He's ignorant, not dumb nor naive. He's actually overall a very smart cookie, and is incredibly observant of things.
He was basically a treasure that was gripped tightly by his family so he never really knew much of life, but even then he has been incredibly understanding and kind since basically the beginning. Plus y'know, with how his family is, he was probably made to take acting class

Man, its funny seeing a dongrang hater actively looking for more reasons to hate dongrang. I think this chapter vindicates me as a dongrang defender. (On a side note, I didn't get all the thirsty Kromer and Dongbaek defenders until I saw A******).

It’s a really dumb and stupid thought, but it’s June, so I wonder what would happen if you snuck a pride flag into t corp’s district. Would it go sepia upon stepping inside the district’s boundaries? Would it go back to normal after leaving the district? Or is it a physically-imposed thing? So, like, if not-rich people of the district were to see any sort of smuggled-in pride flag, would they just straight-up distort from seeing the colors if they’ve never left the district??
Think it'll loose it's colors while there and regain once out alike how stars can't be seen in cities due to light pollution. However they would be differently shades since warm and cold colors so maybe they could be made to have different patterns to identify.
The question of the dead coming back to life made me consider what the story of Legend of Ruina would be based on considering that it seems some characters get adapted from novels, a bit of history and old literary works.
Because of the game being said to be an open world, my theory is that the game will be based off of one of 3 people.
1: the story concept of a nameless soldier who is yet to be known by name based off of Three Kingdom stories and novels.
2: Toyotomi Hideyoshi who's character was adapted into books, movies and video games due to his early history having to be stitched together from numerous sources to get a clearer picture on their story.
3:both stories of The Outsider, first being the novel by HP Lovecraft that was made in 1926 which follows a Undead trying to remember their past, which could be the basis on a playable character and the second being the Stephen King 2008 horror-thriller novel that follows a monster capable of looking like anyone that causes havoc which could be set as a dangerous obstacle to the player.
It's just a guess but it could be one of these 3 or something else entirely the day we get a reveal trailer.

Its bc of how our eyes perceive the world, they must be impacted by a photon (light particle) to see, which in turn give us the colors we see.
Light moves to impact our eyes bc time exist, so uh, if you stop time, well no more vision.
Its strange really, cuz if it was trully no colour it would be just darkness or what a blind person sees, seems more like a vintage photo filter was put on everything mixed with a black and white filter.
