I listened your sermon at founded in truth online I occasionally tune in. That sermon was life changing for me it made me evaluate and pay closer attention to the things I speak and even think. I'm don't have words for your loss
I just lost the most important person in my life my whole world my mom in November and I'm devastated Ashley.
This year was the most painful year i took care of her and now it's just silence .
Thank you for your videos I wish you were my friend your a very beautiful soul .
If I've learnt one thing this year, it's that most of us won't achieve something great, but will have to find joy in the little moments that make up life. And I THINK I've made my peace with that. Not that I've given up on experiencing/doing "great" things, but that I'm comfortable not striving to do so, without feeling like I'm not getting as much out of life as "other people" do. Comparison really is the thief of joy, I think primarily because you can only ever really compare to what you THINK other people have or experience rather than what they actually have or experience.
Sounds like an impactful year for you and your family, Ashleigh. I thank God for the lessons He's given you: of growth, of pain, of His presence. As one who's been through a lot in my life, God's faithfulness stands out to me. Still going through an uneasy time, but I'm learning to trust Him more. Thank you for sharing your journey with us, Ashleigh. It's very encouraging! God bless you!
