- 2020 was a weird year. At least it was an insane year for awesome pedals. I had a really though time to pick my favourites. This is why this list got so massive with 25 entries. Enjoy my Best Of and keep in mind that is only my humble opinion on which pedals have been the coolest this year.

@@LoVeAmBiEnT I think expense is relative. A tool bought should be a tool used, so if you’re not gonna use it, don’t buy it. IMO, I buy pedals to use, so the cost is essential.
2021 is already looking much better than 2020 - I just discovered this pedal channel!

Every pedal I bought blindfolded - looked your review. And there’s tons of ideas inside your videos. All the crazy stuff I thought was useless before you put some mystery in those crappy overpriced boxes))
I knew This was home I heard him playing converge. It was his ring stinger demo that made me fork over the money for a clone.

Great video. My only request would be that you have the split screen showing the guitar being picked for EVERY pedal instead of the select few. It really gives me a better idea of what the pedal is actually doing. Thanks for the great videos!

Man that goat keeper bit is so good. Most of these on my radar but a couple of the dirt pedals were 🤯

My two favorites were the Strymon- Nightsky and the Demedash T-120......and great video for showing pedals.......

I own Poly Digit and Beebo, Eccos, Delay Llama Extreme, Eccos. So many of those others are still on my list!
The Black Hole is just so usable. Guitars pedal, as a vocal send, or drum buss. Really well done. Not as ground breaking as their Rose Pedal but just great to have.
The Sputnik III demo below me away at 1 min- the picking of the guitar underneath the squealing sound. Can you share what that guitar was as well as tuning?

Wow i really love your demo of the Mako D1, especially at 1:28. Really ambient but lofi at the same time, really reminds of something eery, like Nine Inch Nails' instrumental stuff or even horror games.
Do you know of any pedals that I could get a similar sound from that are more affordable? I'd really love to have this but I can barely even afford Boss pedals XD
Its an awesome pedal and kinda crazy its so low in the ranking but that shows how many great pedals have been released this year...

Haha! I was almost certain that the Blooper would take the number one spot! What an amazing pedal (though no Microcosm on the list? That did surprise me somewhat).
Indeed Chase Bliss is crazy good. About the Microcosm I was simply not able to get one. :-(

When did Microcosm come out? My fave of last year.
The Enzo has been on my wishlist fora while.the Bloodbuzz may have to join it.
Did you have any boosts or any thing else in the signal chain with that Kaluna? That straight up sounded like mastodon
Its just the basic Sound of the Kaluna. That said it works really great with a Booster to get a High Gain Sound. Such a fantastic Pedal.

I’ve tried so many times to contact neon egg and be added to the list but never get any response. Is there a secret to getting on their waitlist ?
I found a company in Estonia called Tritonlab they make a pedal called the Caravan. I got the pedal and I put it up against my amptweaker tight Metal Pro much to my amazement it completely ate it up. I was shocked. There may be a few pedals that are as good but none better. This Builder deserves to be heard
And, it'd be great if you put up the price with each pedal, just so we don't break our hearts when we track the pedal down and find the price and we piss our pants (again).
That's freaking awesome I didn't know you could even do some of that stuff with some of those pedals and am revaluating my interest in them and of course I value your opinion highly on pedals never been steered wrong yet

Its still a very nice delay but the price tag is insane for todays standards.
That Teisco Delay sounds like a rainbow machine.

Kind of figured we would have seen the JHS, The Legends of Fuzz - Supreme. Or at least something from the collection.
Not enough purple pedals. I'd say 2020 was a fail.

Great, so combine 3 pedals together to give the viewer no clue what the demo pedal actually sounds like solo.
Second pedal is always a looper. I think only one video has 3 pedals and it’s dirt and delay and loop, not too hard to figure out. Which video do you think has pedals not shown on the floor?

All too gimmicky For me My old ART pitch trans poser couldn’t make a lot of those sounds
I didn't see or hear any i would want for free. Unless i needed to soundtrack a video game. I would use them in my lifetime about as long as were played in this clip.

Most of these pedals serve absolutely no purpose unless your making a Sci fi movie..a waste of money and time
