A crowded, noisy place, long time standing there. Those horses must be , to say it lightly, tired, bored, annoyed.
If they were bored or annoyed you'd see various behaviours such as restlessness, repetitive movements, or even destructive behaviour
The duty in the box is for 1 hour then changed over .
