Daniel, your reasoning for not pulling the rolling baskets made sense for you despite what others may think. Using a rolling basket effectively also depends upon soil type. If the soil is on the heavy side even a 10 - 20 window to permit it to dry before trying to break the clods up will help.
What makes since is you are operating your equipment on your farm and doing what works best for your business. We are just enjoying the riding along & minding our own business, not telling you (the expert) how to do yours. I liked the music and video today. Thank you.
Another great video! Thanks for sharing. Newly turned fields... most hopeful look in the world, all that potential just waiting to happen. Cottonmouths, that is one snake that gives me the shivers. Hi Granny. Hope this warming spring weather finds you doing well. :)
When digging the ditch you should try to spread the dirt out more to make it easier to get a tractor on there to smooth it down and make the ditch bank easier to farm or keep mowed.
Hey, whatever works best for you and your farming group is the best thing to do. Everyone has different ways of getting the same end result. It's your farm and yalls processes that have time after time proven best results for yall so stick withem!
Don't blame you for running the disc and roller basket seperate, as you said there is allot of lenghth and loss of maneuverability when joined up. Plus the basket can run faster to do a better job. That field was sure looking good. 🙂
I enjoy your videos very much. I specifically enjoy the time lapse and drone footage. Always look forward to the next video. The music background is another plus.
You know what your men and machines can handle. When i worked on a farm in middle Ga,our most experienced man was maneuvering around a tree in town with a 3 point cultivater raised as high as it would go. A car with young girls drove right underneath, the sweep ripped the roof of a small short car....just inches above their heads. In many ways larger folding equipment is safer in transport, then smaller 6-10 row fixed. On paper doesn't always make sense even though it saves money.
Any time between the Landall and the rolling baskets would make the clods more friable. Clay tends to hold water and is cohesive, but dry is quite fractible. Always enjoy your videos!
Hello Granny hope you had a great week. Sure had a nice week in Michigan. More seasonal next week. Hope all is well with you and have a great weekend. TAKE CARE !!!
We would love to be putting corn in the ground by the last week of March, but it ain't gonna happen this year. Just about the time it gets dry enough to get in the field, we get another frog strangler. That'll put us behind on corn, which in turn will put us behind schedule on planting peanuts, which in turn will put us late on planting cotton. Mother Nature...go figure. And a wet Spring usually means one thing for us...a dry Summer. Well just have to see how it shakes out.
Daniel I wish you had smellavision. I absolutely love the drone video of farming it is so satisfying and relaxing. I truly love farming and ranching. Stay safe and tell the family hello 💙❤️
I have never seen one of those canvas deer blinds like that. I have seen the bow hunters ground tents, but never on a tower. All the ones we use and all the ones I have seem are fiberglass, or wood or some other solid material. As for the wasp.... I hunt in west central Texas and it is not unusual to have hundreds of wasps in a stand when we check them in Sept. You can bug bomb them and drive them away, but they come right back sometimes. I have checked my stand at noon and had no wasp at all, come back that evening to hunt and they are there building nests. Luckily, they are never super aggressive.
you know best for you but they have a double rolling basket you can mount on the disks you have and not be maybe 3 foot longer than you are now and get by without the set up you have price of corn and stuff it is going to be hard to pencile out
Good Morning Daniel I really enjoy your videos .I in nursesing home in Prattville. This gives me a some enjoyment to my long days . How I get a viser cap . Thank you
Ain’t hard to see why they’re called “cottonmouths” is it?! I don’t “hate” many things in nature, but I make an exception for those ill tempered demons! Congratulations on 30K subs!!
Yeah them toxic electric cords or nope ropes don't play in Alabama they remind me of my ex wife always wanting to spread venom she was toxic she could cook that's about all she was good at
A bald eagle and a Cotton Mouth to open the video! Thank you for taking the time to share.
That was nice of you to save PA’s job while he did his time in the big house. Welcome back PA!
I always wondered why PA left! What happened?
The big house????
When my step SIL did her time my MIL said she was away at camp. 😂
@@jow5545 I didn’t understand a word of that!!
He didn’t strike me as the kind that would have to go to “the big house”.
The 30 thousand mark is well deserved. I am sure Granny is happy about that. The drone footage and music choices are outstanding.

G’job Triple R family, like the music y’all played during the drone footage Daniel. Y’all stay safe, take care and God Bless🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸

I don't know anything about farming, but I love your drone footage, and I can smell the dirt
Glad you explained the disk basket situation, Daniel. I've been wondering that for a good while.
I always love watching a good heavy equipment operator!
Hope the cottonmouth found Jesus before dying. Bald Eagle was a bonus.. James and Mike hard at it, as usual. Great video. Great Drone footage..

You also could bolt a set of rolling harrows right to the back of the disk. Save running another tractor over the field save on compaction .
Hello Granny and Triple R Farms another awesome video and Daniel watch out i see the snakes are crawling in Mississippi too!!! Be Safe Guys
Congratulations to 30 K. The ditch would probably have been a little deeper? Great video as always.

Morning Granny! Daniel Congratulations on hitting the 30K subscribers mark!!
The snakes would have to go!!!
Enjoyed the video Daniel. God bless you all
For your projects you would really enjoy a grading bucket. They have large capacity and offer a smooth flat bottom ditch.
Great video. Always pulling for you guys.
Good afternoon Ms Granny hope you're having a fine day. Cleaning stump 👍 makes the tree liter and leaves some backfield material for the hole.
Good afternoon 😊
You know your dirt you do it your way we have zero to criticize as to your reasons. Love the end product it’s hard work to get it to market.
Great video
30k on the way to 100k. Good job.
Good video good to see y'all
Great video again. How much wheat did you plant this year
you know best for you but they have a double rolling basket you can mount on the disks you have and not be maybe 3 foot longer than you are now and get by without the set up you have price of corn and stuff it is going to be hard to pencile out
Would a set of bolt on rolling baskets on the disk make sense?
Good morning Granny. Enjoy your videos Daniel keep them coming. Y’all have a blessed day.
Thanks for watching.
You get started planting yet?....?.
What a huge field, here is usa
That one was ready for a lead samwich.
How's it going Daniel, was wondering what was the fix for the f250 a few video's ago
Good Morning Daniel I really enjoy your videos .I in nursesing home in Prattville. This gives me a some enjoyment to my long days .
How I get a viser cap . Thank you
That part of Alabama is FULL of snakes! Snakes, mosquitoes, and fire ants! My least favorite parts of the black belt!
Thanks. I
Good Morning Daniel and Granny.
Good afternoon 😊
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO DANIEL 😊

Enjoy ❤
Is PA back

Thanks for watching.
Good morning Granny have a great day
Thank you😊
Good morning who is Mark is he on the video?
I no all about making it idiot proof 😅. You can make it as simple as possible and it will still get messed up.
What a weird fuel trailer
you could do it if you moved late at night
In the dark? Even more dangerous even with suitable lighting. Only so many hours in the day!
Keep them snakes down there.
Daniel, what are the towers used for that you moved?
It's a deer stand
@@MarshallLanier thanks
Yeah them toxic electric cords or nope ropes don't play in Alabama they remind me of my ex wife always wanting to spread venom she was toxic she could cook that's about all she was good at
What kind of snake is that? Curious from Alberta Canada.
Cottonmouth aka. Water Mocassin.
A nasty, ill tempered, very defensive, and extremely venomous pit viper native to the Southeastern United States .
