I just wanted to thank you Laura and your husband and your family for what y'all do working too feeding everyone and I thank you Laura for sharing it on UA-cam and I thank All the farmers for what y'all do...
I saw you at the off-road games and have been binge watching your videos since then. I have been in mining most of my adult life and construction work since I was twelve years old, and I love physical labor like that. I love to see the large scale farming that you and Grant do and have to say that farming is something that if the circumstances of my life would have presented the opportunity I would have enjoyed farming. I think your channel is awesome, it introduces people to what it takes to produce the crops that provide our food. I would love to be able to show the mining that I do but my employer would have a big problem with me doing that. However, in a way it’s kinda the same thing as far as… I work in copper mining, most people have no idea what it takes to produce the metals (or corn and soy in your case) that we as a society take for granted. Please keep showing what you do. Not only is it entertaining it is educational to a lot of people.
I put your name in as soon as i heard Matt announce the Games. I thought you would be perfect for those games. You are always up for an adventure. You will have a great time because the people you will meet are the best. Prayers and safe Travel to you both. Regards Jack.
She is OLD ……2011. Wow only 13 years old and yet considered old for farm equipment.. Gage is one handy helper on Laura’s Farm! Good luck and safe travels Laura and Grant!
Laura, you might want to see if there’s a huge magnet or something on the outer edge of your field is it’s attracting all these vehicles down in the ditch there for some reason it might be a big magnet
So glad you are participating in the Off-Road Games -- You scored big-time, Rory Irish is like the Chairman of the Board in Moab. He will. be a hoot to work with. He is ever more down to earth than you are!I am sure you will have a wonderful time. I was hoping either you are Zach Johnson were participating. Good Lick!
When I grew up on a farm I spent an incredible number of hours in the field during spring planting and summer cultivating, not mention harvesting. (something you're familiar with) And I had no cab to mitigate the weather and the only thing I had to break the boredom was an AM radio. Of which I would turn up the volume to compete with the noise level of a straight pipe exhaust coming out of the large diesel engine. (Unfortunately, the other tractors had no radio) I was still very bored but at least I had something I could make noises along with. (can't really call it singing) Today I find that I can't hear as well in the ear that faced the radio mounted to the tractor's fender. I can hear crickets on one side but not the other. Maybe your friend could bring you the appropriate cable for your phone.
Thanks to Matt's off road channel leading me to your channel . I'm not a farmer but appreciate a harder worker and ya'll look so young makes me proud ! Enjoy the games , Rory is probably the most capable partner you could get . Watching from the desert ,Al
I just watched a video of someone that fell asleep run off the road into a cornfield along a interstate hwy. May have been the one that went into yours. He had a camera in his truck that showed front & rear view. His girlfriend was asleep when he left the road. She woke up going through the cornfield screaming. You were great in the off road games!
I’m sure you don’t know, but you literally hit the jackpot getting Rory, he is without a doubt the best Driver/spotter at the event. You guys will absolutely crush it. Rory and his team are a blast, you are going to have a lot of fun.
Hey, you would never think I would be subscribed to your channel after watching you on the off-road games. ;-) Awesome stuff. You radiate a very wholesome energy! Keen to go back now and watch you farming as well!
Enjoy your time in Utah. I actively watch all the channels associated with Matt’s Off Road Recovery and you should have a great time with very nice people.
I love this content! You’re the only farmer I follow. I’m mainly a car nerd so I saw a bunch of my UA-camrs out there. I even follow Ghost Town Living. If only Cleetus and Demo Matt were there I’d have almost all my subs in one place. Love the collaboration!
Over here in PA, I had a friend whose last name was Root. I was calling to him across a crowd one day: "Hey John!" Finally I yelled "Hey Ruit" (the same pronunciation you use). That sure got his attention!
What a pleasant surprise; another video from you so soon after the one on Sunday. When you are operating equipment, I think that is something that is so good about your posts because, even with this, relatively, simple operation - root slicing - you do such a great job of explaining what you're doing while you are actually in the tractor. As always, I really like seeing you and Grant working together because it reminds me of farming with my wife, who was a city girl who really adapted to midwestern, corn & soybean farming. Also, I want to mention that you and Grant having Gage take the 8335R and the combine to his school on the take your tractor to school day was such a very nice thing on your part.
Getting suggestions for your videos after the Off Road Games and just have to say as a former farmer... That is the tidiest barn I have ever seen! Seriously, you could eat off that barn floor! Also, that rotary hoe looks like something out of the future. Loved you at the games. Can't wait for you to bring your tractor next year!
WOW, you came to Utah, and did not even call or let me know you came bay. WOW, I could feel bad about it, but I won't, it serves no purpose. Hope you'll let me know next time you come out to Utah or Arizona.
I am grateful for the opportunity to accompany you on your farming activities. I find great pleasure in viewing your channel. Have a great weekend Laura✨💖
I am a bit behind in the UK. Laura, I love hearing you explain things, I am not surprised a few years ago you were asked to do a school talk on farming to the students. Seeing you in a field working on the land made me feel that planting is just around the corner. Enjoy what you have planned in the next video. Stay safe, love from Mike. ❤
Laura, you truly are a little bundle of joy super cute and adorable. You make a lot of people smile on your channel. Thank you sweet precious girl stay safe at that event. Please come back unharmed.
Thanks once again for letting us have a glimpse into you and Grants lives!!! Again, love to see your dirt!!! Could have used Pepper a few days ago as a mouse took up residence in my truck! GOOD LUCK in Utah and stay safe!!!
I hope you have a great time in Utah with the new friends and games. You do an amazing job of documenting and explaining what and how you work the farm. Thanks to you grant and gage for all you do. Safe traveling and "playing" at the games!!
I’ve been enjoying your content from before your name change. Always a great job! And a true ambassador of agriculture. Thanks! Ps. Have fun at the Off Road Games! You and Rory will be the team to beat!!!
Laura, your hair is beautiful straightened out but love your curls. I grew up running big and small dirt moving equipment, Cat 633 scrapers to skid steers smaller to yours but absolutely love the multi row implements that fold up then out for max tillage!!!! Reminds me of of our old 46a/ Cat D8H dozer that would boil dirt over the blade when you were in the groove. Actually spent half of my time on the fuel truck so hats off on your maintenance regiment.
When you talk to Rory, let him know you are experienced with driving supercharged vehicles. He should be happy to let you take a turn at the wheel of his new "Blue" machine!
If you take a marker and write the date and hrs on the oil filter like all other professional equipment operators you'd know when you last did a oil maintenance of the tractor !! You guys got a lot to learn !!
Hello there. I worked all my life on my own. It was a lot more fiscal than tractor driving. I was a dry stone waller. It was very hard work and all weather. I have been retired now for coming up 3 years. I didn't go mad working on my own. In fact I'm sound in mind. My biggest droback is type 2 diabetes and leg ulcers and bad hip's. So you see it doesn't pay to have a fisical job. It seems impossible to do the things I wanted to do in my retirement. I just can't get anywhere now. Not being able to walk so far. But I'm still trying to do other things with my hands. A spot of painting or modal building keeps my mind occupied. I hope yous retired in a better state than what I did. 👍
As cheap as a battery backup is for phones you might invest in one, bought one for my wife because she plays games so much, was on sale at HD and was less than $7.
Everyone from Matt's Off-road and Trailmator's crew are great people and when they asked that subscribers recommend other UA-camrs that they could invite Laura Farms was my first suggestion and I can't wait to see you guys wheeling in Utah!
1st be sure and paint your fingernails Rory green he would get a kick out of that. Good luck, have a good time, come back with a 1st place. I will be watching and rooting for you & Rory. Mike & Shawn are great guys too.
Laura and Grant, there's a pretty good farm machinery auction coming up on Monday and Tuesday next week in Hamilton, Illinois by Big Iron/Sullivan Auctioneers.
Laura, i love your channel. The videos are very relaxing to listen to, and I love the outdoor scenes with the distant horizon creating spectacular sunsets (I'm in Las Vegas, ringed by mountains). Greets to Grant and Gage and Scotty. 😄❤❤❤
Laura, your male lightning connectors will fit the female C type connectors. So, you can plug the male lightning into the bottom of your C connector on your phone. I do it every day.
my brother has been watching your Chanel for a long time more of a farmer than I. We are both school bus mechanics I have been following Rory for over 3 years I was excited to tell my brother you 2 are on same team you guys will do great!
Good evening Sunshine!! You look lovely today as usual; those beautiful eyes❤. Thanks for taking me along today. Have fun in Sand Hollow State Park. Safe travels, have a blast, play hard and be safe out there! Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
Good video as always. Love seeing the different farming methods used there. Don't use chrome sockets on the impact. Get impact sockets when you have the chance. The chrome sockets sometimes split and the chrome will flake off and can cut you. Look forward to seeing you in Trail Maters buggy. Rory is an expert and will be a great teacher.
We changed to Amsoil on our farm. We were able to run to 500hrs. On an oil change. We also do an oil sample every 250 hrs. It saved us quite a bit over the year.
Lot of times that a trailer will start on fire is caused by brake malfunction and the heat will start a fire and then once the tires start burning you can't do much but sit back and hope the FD get there quick.
I live a couple hours west of you here in Nebraska, we got about 15 inches from the same storm. You'll like the off road games, Matt and the rest are good people.
Hi Laura. Funny hearing you talk about not having the correct iPhone cable in your tractor. When I started driving tractor I had to worry if I had good spark plugs in the tool box in case my tractor started running on three cylinders. Check for a cool plug and change it out. Those were the days.
Interesting. Because I've never looked at your channel.Because who wants to see a girl farming mean, but because you are on Matt's off-road recovery, You're pretty awesome now.
Decker Transportation from Fort Dodge, IA. Yup, refrigerated Transportation. We're going to crack 70 degrees tomorrow. (3/14) Thursday. Pennsylvania. Supposed to have snow this weekend. You guys all look good. Pepper too! We have a Farmers market here called "Roots"". Pronounced Ruits. It's the Onion Snow! Harbinger of Spring! Have fun at the games in Utah! Safe travels and God bless you all
The Jersey turnpike cut our farm in half. Once when I was about 4 or 5 several trucks wrecked behind our farm house and one truck was on fire. The driver was stuck in the cab and burned to death. That’s a smell you never forget. Before the turnpike we almost never had to drive equipment on the road.
🙂 Lived in Massachusetts and the term was root (like in soot) and then moved to Connecticut where it was root (like in boot). Sounds like however you say it is going to be correct.
Laura Farms. I saw you on BSF Recovery teams video at Utah. You walked in at the end. Eric and his wife do free recoveres at events in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Hope you had a good interaction with them.
A few years ago, I traveled with DeWalt Marketing, I've been past your farm a few times. I once got stopped on I-80 by a Nebraska State Trooper. After giving me a warning, he asked me to open the display doors. I believe he was bored and simply wanted to see the latest DeWalt tools! 😎
Thanks for the video and I'm looking forward to watching you and Rory at the Off-Road Games. I'm a longtime watcher of Matt's and Rory's channels, which led me to subscribing to yours a while back. You'll be mingling with a bunch of good folks in Utah. You were fortunate to be paired with Rory, who is hands down the best wheeler and spotter I've seen. He's reached a pretty legendary status among his peers. And his little "dune buggy" (lol) is going to amaze you with its capabilities. I think you're in for a real treat! I also suspect you'll see a nice uptick in your own subscriber count as a result of the Off-Road Games. 👍🏼
If you're auto track is set up correctly you should be able to just get past half way turned around hit resume and it will find and go down the correct rows.

If 2011 is old, then we have some REALLY REALLY OLD farm equipment 😂
Well she is Gen z.
I wonder at what point do you have to overhaul the engine on a 2011?
Laura, you might want to see if there’s a huge magnet or something on the outer edge of your field is it’s attracting all these vehicles down in the ditch there for some reason it might be a big magnet

It's called a Multipurpose bucket for the loader. It can do 3-4 jobs in one
Thats awesome you are going to Matts off road games. Rory is a cool guy.
Make more covered areas to collect rainwater for either the animals or to help with the grass.

The good thing about snow is that snow is moisture and what you doing is putting it in the ground and not just on the surface.
Thanks once again for letting us have a glimpse into you and Grants lives!!! Again, love to see your dirt!!! Could have used Pepper a few days ago as a mouse took up residence in my truck! GOOD LUCK in Utah and stay safe!!!

Great personality
With Rory as your spotter, we expect a win. He’s the best! Enjoy!
After the Off Road Games. You should invite Roy out to Nebraska to get a taste of what you do on the farm. Would be interesting to see.

What a crazy weather day. Traveling mercies as you head out (further) West!
😁Having a great day farming SNOW . Your videos are never boring . Pack a snack cooler and never go hungry . Thanks
Gotta love Nebraska weather, can have all four seasons in the same day

"I am not properly bundled" is a neat way to say you don't have warm clothes. We don't use that one in Tennessee.
You'll like Rory's daughter Lilly. She can crawl the trails with th e best of them
AS always, I'm loving the furry car mechanic!😸
Really impressive work. Your commitment to farming is so obvious. Kudos, Grant, Laura ang Guage.
It is so cool that you are participating in Matt’s off road games! I’ll be rooting for y’all!
We changed to Amsoil on our farm. We were able to run to 500hrs. On an oil change. We also do an oil sample every 250 hrs. It saved us quite a bit over the year.
Love your content and also your personality!
Lot of times that a trailer will start on fire is caused by brake malfunction and the heat will start a fire and then once the tires start burning you can't do much but sit back and hope the FD get there quick.
Hi Laura happy birthday love you're videos !
I thought Laura's birthday was May 11th. We need to know when to send cookies!😂❤
I live a couple hours west of you here in Nebraska, we got about 15 inches from the same storm.
You'll like the off road games, Matt and the rest are good people.
The backward video is a bit disconcerting, but I love the show!
Hi Laura. Funny hearing you talk about not having the correct iPhone cable in your tractor. When I started driving tractor I had to worry if I had good spark plugs in the tool box in case my tractor started running on three cylinders. Check for a cool plug and change it out. Those were the days.
Had to see what you're doing.
Interesting.
Because I've never looked at your channel.Because who wants to see a girl farming mean, but because you are on Matt's off-road recovery, You're pretty awesome now.

Good morning Laura Farms
I. ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO LAURA AND GRANT 😊
In Nv we are weeks away from getting into the fields.Lots of rain and snow this year. Good luck to you guys
Nice machine, it beats a disk by a lot.
If you're coming to Southern Utah this weekend, be prepared for crappy weather.
Yeah Laura were supposed to get 21” of snow here in neighboring Colorado! Should be fun .
Get as much done as you can it's going to be a long wet cold spring.
