This episode was a crazy twist at the time even though we already saw teen romeo and heard Lucy in narrator mode foreshadowed this, a 7 years timeskip after acnologia after hades and zeref reveal was almost unpredictable, this arc have everything
It's just amazing how this episode will somehow reflect the last one. Looking at this, that I haven't saw for ages, it's almost unbelievable how some of them grew, specially Lucy. Knowing how it ends, and now remembering this one it almost makes me change my mind about who the MVP of the final battle is. Without giving any spoilers I just now realize that Lucy transforms from being the "Key bearer" to being the Key.

Remember the facts Gildarts face Acnologia by coincidence and fought it just show our S-Rank Daddy also powerful but too bad downbad a bit during this S Class Exam . I am just happy and excited YOWWW !!! LUCY have a new KEY and it is not a celestial key but a GOD key !!!! A power that can defeat ACNOLOGIA.... LUCY came so far and i cannot wait for her new dress/armor. ❤❤❤❤ well current LUCY is spriggan level but this key is O.P her spells can destroy continent and they gave her a new power up i just hope she will get the other too. So basically she can used a Dragon Slaying Magic now.
just to clarify, Zeref didn't command/summon Acnologia there. Zeref felt acnologia's presence when talking to Master Hades.
