I'm from Finland, but I've been wondering why JD wasn't a presidential candidate?? Somebody tell me?
He speaks well, he is relaxed but also strict, he is well educated but he also knows the other side of life. He can answer questions CORRECTLY and he doesn't just repeat the same things.
Trump is a more popular and well known person overall, so JD needs to use this election cycle to get his name out there and build supporters of his own for future elections. I expect that he will try to run for president in 2028. In US presidential elections, you're not just running against another person, you're running against an entire political party, which means that the candidate for each party has to be incredibly well known and popular with Americans to get enough support to win. JD just didn't have that yet, but Trump does right now.
He needs more experience. He will get that with Trump, especially on how to deal with adversaries and allies. Trump's policies were great and the US made great progress under his leadership. J.D. Vance will learn those skills. Yes I think that he has a great foundation to build on.
