Nice video, really in depth and showcased the food overall. Sophie is awesome, she's pretty funny. Totally subscribing to this channel now.
Thank you so much! That means a lot!
Can’t wait to go back and get more of the one with gold truffle. So yum!
Yes! That was one of our favorite items they had!
Glad you shared the final bill. Yikes! Guess I’m going off-strip for hot pot action.
Yes, X Pot is considered to be fine dining and the bill definitely reflects that. This was a big splurge for us. We tend to go to $25-$30 AYCE hot pot places.
I'd check out Nabe or Chubby Cattle for off-strip hotpot.
@@SofieAndStephen Excellent suggestions thanks!
@@jp93309 No problem!
That noodles dance caught all the Covid in the air and made it taste better lol
Lol added a little extra flavor to those noodles indeed
Nice video! How much will it cost for two on a chef tasting menu? Would love to bring my husband here for anniversary!
When we went in November the Chef's Tasting Menu was $150/person. But I just looked it up and it's not $158 per person. I'd highly recommend you also order the Wagyu Feast alongside the Chef's Tasting Menu. The Wagyu Feast is what you see brought out on the big smoking cow. It's a great treat and an awesome experience.
@@SofieAndStephen thank very much for nice info! Appreciate it!☺️
@@SUMM3R304 no problem at all!
Great Video, but you need to increase your mic volume.
I appreciate the input Thomman!
Was having it served on the golden cow more expensive? Is that a certain thing you have to order?
Most of everything that we ordered was part of the Chef's Tasting menu. However, what you see served on the golden cow is an extra add on called "Wagyu Feast", which consists of an assortment of A5 Wagyu cuts.
@@SofieAndStephen ahhhh, thank you for the info!
@@hollys8020 no problem!
yo can me and my wife come eat with you in vegas some time?! SHEESH!
Haha come and join us! We live to eat!
Yikes, I didn't realize Wagyu Feast wasn't included in the $159 Tasting Menu.
Yeah, unfortunately it isn’t included with the tasting menu. I feel like it should be included for that $159 price tag.
It's expensive!
Yes, it is a bit pricey. They are considered a fine dining restaurant. Even Sofie and I don't usually go to special places like this, but this dinner was for our 10 year anniversary, so we splurged a bit. Usually we go to $25-$20 AYCE hot pot places.
I'd say that if you want to go to The X Pot but want to keep the cost lower, you can opt out of the Chef's Tasting Menu and go for the a la carte items instead. That way you can just order specific items you want and keep the cost a bit lower. However, I feel that the Chef's Tasting Menu will provide a better overall experience of what they have to offer.
ngl, when I ate here, I had diarrhea all night:(
Wow that's terrible. I wonder what happened? Sorry to hear that.
She wasn’t impressed.
Who wasn't?
