Sasaki’s VA is AMAZING the goofy cutie energy is so natural and fantastic but he’s also so good at expressing how much Sasaki is down bad for Miyano! One of my favorite dub performances hands down!!

i’m glad american vas are starting to be able to put more emotion and improv in their characters :) it used to be really monotone reading-the-script kinda stuff, now it’s sounding closer to the japanese dubs lol
its always been that way lol wtf, they have ALWAYS tried to match the japanese VA’s. the main issue people have with dubs is that the over the top anime voices dont translate well into english. and that issue remains, obviously. only a few older anime i could think of have monotonous dubs, ‘nge’ - ‘lain’. But i feel that was more to try and match the bleak tone both pieces of work try to give. Just nonsense. Watch more old anime.

Love how the VAs in different languages put their own twist and can give the same anime different vibe..I feel like Sasaki to Miyano japanese dub seems more soft and romantic and then there's english dub that sounds straight hilarious
i love both honestly. in the sub it kinda feels like actual japanese people reacting to the seme/uke stuff or just BL in general, and being completely fine with it. obviously there are some very questionable things in BL/yaoi, like probably what blue-haired streaks’ gf reads. but hearing japanese people talk about it openly helps people like me, who reads a LOT of BL, feel seen and not misunderstood to be some creep who sexualizes gay relationships.
Give Kellen Goff every single award for voicing Sasaki, man his performance really made him the most lovable himbo on the planet Stuff like the lil “lemmelistenintoo ;)” or the kinda silly/cutest voice he slips into every once in a while made him sound so uniquely human and I loved it so much :D

Yo the whole English dub cast is lgbtq, like the moment I heard Jonah Scott I was like “BI MAN IN GAY ANIME HMMM?????” and then searched for the other va’s sexualities, I don’t remember the specifics but most are bi/gay and I believe that miyano’s friend with the glasses, his va is trans, bro they can voice so many characters both male, female and in between I love them (I can’t remember if she or he)☺️☺️☺️

I met Kellen (Sasaki) and told him thank you so much for holding true to the character. I think he brought some of his playfulness to the character and it just made it that much better.

OMG, I never heard the English dub. It sounds so funny, now I need to re-watch this but in english. (It's an excuse to watch this anime again, because they're so sweet! They make me melt~)
I can't get enough of this show it's a infinte blast from beginning to end, and a really compelling story. Is simple yet sweet with neat characters to boost the experience and don't even get me started on Sasaki's and Miyano's relationship or I'll stay here for decades. Music and voice acting is top TIER English, Japanese, Spanish and even freacking Portuguese, COME ON! Shows like this don't just happen and I am eternally glad this exists is the perfect storm of wholesomeness that occurs once in a blue moon
