This was awesome. Ben "Two Guns" Moore Daniel "No Escape" Bloodworth Isla "Knives Out" Hinck Michael "Re-roll" Huber Those zombies never stood a chance.
Great video!! Just an FYI all players can know what the items are in each round as the set-up guide is left out to help with play. Also during the first round, when Blood shot and missed the zombie would have moved and then moved again during the reaction phase. Hopefully you'll run through the campaign of this!!
Good fun to watch; really like the look of this game, though my luck at card and dice based games is notoriously terrible. Shout outs to all players, but special MVP had to be Ian "Whirlwind of Pointy Edged Death" Hinck as Claire Redfield. Also props to Sofia on cameras, the switching really does make a huge difference in a show like this. Would love to see you play out the rest of scenarios in further episodes!
I had to buy this board game after seeing this. I was not even aware this existed and I'm a huge RE2 fan so even if I never get a chance to play it I have to have it.
Lairdom it was originally a Kickstarter funded game that has a number of expansions to it. Not sure if those expansions hit retail yet or not, but it’s a ton of fun.
If you ever come back to this, get ahold of the physical door set! The props that come with the game are the worst thing about it, they're so hard to see
The no escape card doesn't work like that. You locate the tile with alive enemies, you then move those enemies to an adjacent tile closer to the active character. You don't take those enemies and move them multiple tiles to the closest tile adjacent to the active character. They also move to the space behind the door connecting the two tiles, not the the door closest to the active character so it's like they opened the door out of the room they were in and stepped into the next closest room to the character. You then place them in the square adjacent to the door connecting the two tiles. In the Huber case it really didn't change a lot because the zombie would end up next to the door first draw and then on the same space as Huber on the second one, but in the Ben case your mistake with the rules means that the zombies opened a door into the corridor, then another door into the next bit of corridor, then another door into the stairwell room then walked straight past the other characters not attacking them... and the second one had a zombie climb the stairs walk through a group of three characters and hide in an open closet next to them... bah, it's all very stupid. They should have instead just moved into the corridors closest to them. I know streaming is tough, and reading brand new cards is difficult, but just try and think through what is happening, and if it doesn't make any sense then make sure you read the card right. I don't doubt that the rule book is bad, but it's still painful to watch when you literally read a rule out and then ignore everything it says.
the zombies react to sound of the gun shot react move, and they get there turn and move again. this game gets super hard. i completed it with leon and claire then unlocked all the heros. tryed the hunk level and got killed, tofu is so hard to be because he cant fight. knife for the win tho.
@@qwertyman459 if there is only one yes, but if there is three or 2 or more, you only shoot one, soo even if you don't miss, the other 1 or 2 would move. Beautiful game.
That's really cool! Can you guys play the Dark Souls board game or the Bloodborne Card game? Would love to see that! (The latter would interested me more, since I have never played it and was thinking about buying it.)
I think they need to marker in a second damage success on those dice. A one in six chance is just abysmal. Also the zombies have a 2/3 chance to hit so they are 4 times more competent fighters than intelligent humans with combat and firearms training 😂 right, sure.
This isn't really a game of killing zombies though, it's more about dodging your way to the objective. A push is still able to get them out of the way which is normally good enough. They really got caught up trying to kill everything in the room when normally they should be getting the zambies onto one tile and walking around them and shutting the door on them. Also most characters get two dodge rolls and regular zombies only do damage if both of those come up hits or double hits. That means a zombie has a 1/9 chance of doing damage compared to a human's 1/6... this isn't true for Huber's character who only has one dodge, but he gets far higher accuracy with guns to compensate... larger based monsters also work differently, but by that's what the shotgun is for.
This is the same intro music that's used in the Journey Across Japan vlog series on Abroad in Japan and I can't disassociate the two things Example ua-cam.com/video/nMcfUsGauy0/v-deo.html
This was awesome.
Ben "Two Guns" Moore

Those zombies never stood a chance.
DUDE love this names in this episode. So jolly I'm hooked we need the next one.
THIS is what I want to see. This will be the first one I'm going to watch all the way through.
Haven't watched it yet, but I am so happy to see this. Finally delivering on what I was hoping to see from the OBGS and I am so happy. :)
Thank you very much for not splitting the video for each scenario to make more episodes of OBGS and let us enjoy a big segment of the campaign
Sofia will all the camera work, kudos to her!
I love that the characters are Claire, Leon, Ada and... uh... Kendo?
I like how they just completely forfeit ever using single or double shots in favor of the tri blast
I'm 35 minutes into the video. Ian and Huber are playing RE2 while Ben and Blood are playing Dark Souls!
I was going to be incredibly upset if Huber wasn't on this one. So jolly seeing the allies together on this show.
Resident evil board game with Huber. Couldn't be a more perfect fit :D
Finally watched everything. This was great, keep the campaign going!
This camera angle on Huber makes him extra handsome somehow
Yeah Huber was looking good today
yesssssss, settle in, it's an OBGS with a full group of allies
This was cozy as hell
Ben’s joke 0:32 is even funnier now that I realize he’s also wearing that shirt
This was great. Look forward to seeing you guys continue this campaign!
Need a part 2!
Finally an episode with some Allies! LOVED IT!!
Great episode! Definitely want to see Part 2!
Hearing Huber say he played this with his wife for the first time is so sweet. That's love
Fantastic episode again. Loving this series of content. Very entertaining. Also well explained so I could easily follow along
Excellent, it's amazing how despite really looking forward to this game it was even better than expected, awesome group too.
This is going to be jolly af
Awesome! What I’ve wanted this show to be. So generous
Now this is what I call a return to form, and nearly 3 hours nonetheless. This was lots of fun to watch, would love to see more scenarios.
Hope you guys play through the whole campaign!
Well done on the camera work here.

1 year later...i need part 2 now
You guys need to make a point to finish the campaign by the end of the year
I'm a simple man. I saw Resident Evil 2 and Huber and I clicked.
Yes Huber, we are pleased.
Get either a dice tower or dice tray so the dice don't go everywhere. Also sleeve your cards!
Good fun to watch; really like the look of this game, though my luck at card and dice based games is notoriously terrible.

Awesome, need part 2!!!!
Great session , fun game, want to see a part 2
Adding some background music from Resident Evil would've really put your over the top. But! What a fine time with the Allies
It would but unfortunately Capcom would most likely copyright strike the video.
Because of the music, I'm getting "Aboard in Japan" vibes.
Ian has his Ghostbusters qoutes in Check Nice!
This was really good!
I would definitely like it if you played the whole campaign mode!!
Daniel 'No Escape' Bloodworth
I love boardgames ! and the longer the better. Best in costumes :D
This game is pretty good. There is also a version in tabletop simulator with Mr. X and other Bosses. So if you wanna try it out you can do that.
Loving the show! The game has nice atmosphere, would be cool to have some creepy ambient music in the background as well.
I need to get myself this game after seeing you guys play this.
Awesome pick guys!!!
Looks like something I knocked together in the back of class on A4
I haven't played it yet but I feel like Huber would enjoy Horrified. A co-op game were you're trying to win scenarios against universal monsters
Please do more scenarios this was awesome
This game is neat af. Awesome.
Tri-Blast Heroes.
32:44 Huber got them cartoon bullets from Who Frame Roger Rabbit.
...aaaaaand they seem to be about as useful.
Early comment, just wanted to say I really like this table setup more than previous videos.

Who gifted the Easy Allies this treasure? Reveal yourself! :)
That was so JOLLY
get a dice tray Ian! also check out tabletopaudiodotcom for great royalty free BG music, thanks for this video!
Zombie needs to be in the same square to attack Ada
I was also thinking Silent Knife, Holy Knife.
This makes me want to play the new Bloodborne Figure tabletop game. Hell, I want to play the original tabletop game.
Easy Allies
Huber with his hair long like this look as bit like Jones' look...!
With cyberpunk being delayed I really hope Ian play's cyberpunk red.
Would be an awesome way to learn some lore before the game comes out

Awesome. Instant click.
I’d love to see a dramatized version of these scenarios.

come to think of it they only react if you miss your shot.

Btw, yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES WE WANT PART 2.
ian yawning within the first 5 minutes, nice

This is what we want 👍👍👍
Please continue
45 seconds into the video and I am *in*
Yes dude!!!

Ian, what is that drink next to you that has 400 calories? Lol seems insane. Not judging or anything it just caught my attention.
Pretty sure that's soylent. It's basically a meal replacement, so 400 is equivalent to a fairly standard lunch
I wonder if they got any of the expansions?
This is the same intro music that's used in the Journey Across Japan vlog series on Abroad in Japan and I can't disassociate the two things

Why is this game so expensive?
1,000% more enjoyable now we have the allies and not some random hipster.
All of Ian's friends are like game developers and voice actors. They fit rit in.
