This is an animatic for Nagito Komaeda! It was his birthday and I decided to try making an animatic instead of an illustration on a whim, honestly. I had a very vague idea for this beforehand which made me cry.. so I've brought it to life! (hoping to touch some hearts with this too heheh) Nagito means a lot to me. I absolutely love his character and his self deprecating mindset personally hits close to home,,,, His experiences throughout his life and the killing game really explain his thought process and motives... which got to me somehow. I tried to convey a lot of the emotions I felt into this I guess?? Haha I'm bad at expressing how much I adore this guy.. but hopefully my feelings can get through to you all as you watch this.

Aaaaaaa FINALLY HERE!! I pushed myself really hard to finish this one and I'm so excited that I'm finally done! I did so much editing and drawing I think I've worn myself out a bit haha but I couldn't help pushing myself more than usual since I'm bad at finishing these sorts of things...! This is my first time properly doing an animatic so I apologise for anything I messed up on LOL but it was a ton of fun. I gotta say, I really overestimated the duration it'd take me to finish even tho I know I'm slow... I will try to start an animatic a month before it's due next time- which would prolly be a while since this one has me tired out! But anyways, to the people who have been looking forward to this animatic... thank you SO MUCH for your patience and kindness. Everyone, especially my mutuals, were so supportive and understanding even when I couldn't respond to messages... it makes me wanna cry;; (ﾉω･､)💞 Also I freaked out and actually cried when I realised this animatic wouldn't export properly from the app?? I legitimately thought it was done for... it felt like a whole months of work was down the drain BUT THEN LUCKILYYY it uploads perfectly on UA-cam! I was so relieved.... thank god for UA-cam. Welp, I hope you enjoy the animatic!! 💜
