Hello, I'm a bass-baritone, my lowest note is an C2, even a Bb1 when I just woke up 😂 My question is, which exercises do you recommend me to get lower range?
I gotta take lessons from one of these oktavists
Wow! So Alexis Lukianov is alive, well and dandy! Such a relief! Rumored he hasn't made it out of covid.
It was a close call, but everyone’s prayers pulled him through, praise God!
@@kathylukianov5701 Praise God indeed!
Beautiful
Thank you.
Heavenly, divine, this is the best orthodox choir in the world ! Perfect harmony of voices and the oktavists are superbes; Thank you so much from France
Yes. One of the best male choir in the world but choir Daniov Monastery is the best in the world...for me, of course.
@@pokajnikpokajnik4106 Just listened....I actually saw in a vid of the Daniov choir one or two lads that also sing with this crew...so I'm wondering if its more of a relational collective type of thing!! Thoughts?
Even by oktavist standards Alexis Lukianov is absolutely insane
its actually an octavist from Russia. His name is Slava. He's the guy with the blonde and gray beard at 5:38
hes the one hitting the insanely loud note at the end
@@jmaxim3474 He looks like Viacheslav Pruckich.
@@benmcdaniel Yes- "Slava" is short for Viacheslav :)
@@markwade6849 Cool! I only know of him from seeing him in a couple of UA-cam videos, so I'm glad I recognized him correctly!
Sehr Schön!🤎
beautifull church beautiful singing. Sad that the audio has some artifacts when the choir volume get high but otherwise very nice video
Superb music. Many congratulations to every participant, and hats off especially, to the conductor. Is it possible to see a translation in English, please?
Сила 💪💪👍
Is that Pruckich to the left?
Yes. While they were in Israel Glenn Miller also came in with this line up and recorded Rach's All-Night Vigil arrange for male choir. It's going to have some crazy lows!
@@TheOktavismChannel can’t wait! do you plan to release that recording to this channel in the near future?
🙏🙏🙏❤
Молодець
I think I heard an E1 between 4:55 and 5:00. I am sure it wasn't an undertone, because it had the crackle of somebody singing it
I can hear it too, right at the end
So does Pavel Myakotin use subharmonics? I heard rumors that he does. I want Oktavism to answer this for me.
Soons of kirill?
Kirill is the Patriach of Moscow and all Rus. He is their spiritual father, so technically, they are his sons
Непонятное исполнение, может акустика мешает, может запись, если это со службы, то хотелось бы басов потише в начале и уже на коде наоборот, но бас хороший центральный
What was the name of the piece?
Tis one of renditions of cherubic hymn. Don't know which is, But CH is most beautiful chant of the liturgy. They all beautiful
Cherubic hymn by P. Chesnokov
Chesnokov - Cherubic Hymn op.42 No. 9
Can someone share the name of this song with me?
This is a setting of the Cherubic Hymn appointed for the orthodox liturgy of St. John of Chrysostom. The arrangement is part of the opus No. 42 of Pavel G. Chesnokov, originally scored for SATB. I don’t know who transposed it for male choir.
chapel ther in jlm wher pilgrim tours visit is a sacrilege muslim mosque
May I ask, if anyone knows, who is directing here?
It's actually American oktavist Elias Dubelsten conducting.
@@TheOktavismChannel I strongly suspected that was the case. Thank you kindly for confirming it! On a personal note, thank you as well for your work and videos Sir. Any number of superlatives might not be sufficient. I regard your channel highly. 👍😎
@@LyricTenor85 You're welcome and thank you!
Thank you.
I'm not Orthodox but the male choir here is quite beautiful.
Невероятно красивое пение! Русский бас в хоре - самый лучший!
Великолепная контр ЛЯ в исполнении Вячеслава Прутских!!! 🔥🔥🔥👍😃😃😃
Очень жирная Ля
So beautiful. Magnificent
Beautiful! 🙏🏻 Very prayerful!
Чесноков? Красота.

Здравствуйте! Христос Воскресе!
Подскажите, пожалуйста, где можно найти запись всенощной Рахманинова, которую они записали в Израиле?
Воистину Воскресе! Ещё не выпустили….
🔝🔝🔝
This makes me cry and weep because of its great beauty and most of all, Jesus the Christ will be coming extremely extremely soon. REPENT AND PREPARE NOW! His feet will set down THERE very near that chapel.
Magnificent singing! To bad so much noise in the background. To my ears it sounds like A minor. Kontra A at the end still very impressive.

Kyrill criminal!
