You did a really good job explaining the 100 years war in such a short amount of time 👍🏻 Now people will try and learn more about it because of your video ⚔️

For anyone very keen on Medieval warfare and the Hundred Years War I recommend Schwerpunkt, in particular his tactical analysis of Poitiers as a starter

The Anglo-French War in 1213 is also very interesting and we hardly hear about it.

I am just here for The 100 Year War Of Chuder vs Midland... Did The White Phoenix Knights credited for ceasing the war?

The White Phoenix Knights is just a propaganda term instituted by Midland. In reality they were all just a bunch of brigands and mercenaries, called the Band of the Hawk.

@@adonisendymion2480 ayy thank you. Did anyone ever know what became of their leader? General Griffith correct?

    • @adonisendymion2480

@@thegamecritic5305 A lot of it has been seemingly either purposely or through calamity, been whipped out from the historical record. There are some folktales that say that Griffith married the Royal Princess, other accounts that say the King had him imprisoned and tortured for fear of Griffiths growing popularity, and some accounts yet that Griffith and the entire Band of the Hawk were sacrificed to demons.

Jack Coeur the founder of the first fashion house funded the last battles of the 100 years war. That's of course was against his will 😅

This is going to sound really petty, but the pronunciation of many names distracted me terribly. Valois was a particular sore point.
