Damn, really interesting build, I always knew Bahamut's eikonic ability would be fairly lackluster unless you had the opportunity to dodge a bunch of incoming attacks without having to worry about a stray projectile/off screen melee still coming from the enemy but, with Svarog casting those highly readable moves makes using Megaflare surprisingly viable to keep the damage on. The way you go about this fight honestly feels a lot less like the regular DMC like action focused gameplay and more like the traditional FF turnbased gameplay. In the sense that you're wating for Svarog's attacks to go off as you weave through and build up Megaflare and then with your abilities off cooldown initiate your turn. Really sick run as always Ongbal fantastic work! (・ω・)ノ
This fight was like made for the Bahamut Eikon. Satellite and Impulse are also really nice since he tries to create distance so often. Also Megaflare is nice even at lvl1.
@@Dr_Donald_Duck Satellite is also nice because you can spam it during any animation sequence as well. Like during garudas grab animation that takes like 6 seconds or so that would normally be wasted.
untrue, every single fight theres more than enough opportunity to get level 4 megaflare fast (maybe you never utilised taunt which i cant blame you for), and level 5 zantetsuken forces all the megaflares to hit the enemy at once. For the absolute highest damage during a stagger window you should dodge around for level 4 and pop it JUST before you enter stagger, into limit break, diamond dust for instant max multiplier into level 5 zan, lightning rod, dancing steel and level 5 zan again into gigaflare then judgement bolt. I cant remember many enemies who survive more than 1 stagger window with this. Impulse is OP enough on its own to stagger an enemy fairly fast
Bahamut's Megaflare can still be useful even with only level 1 or 2, level 1 and 2 charge has the highest damage per hit, with 2 lasting longer than 1, while 3 and 4 have reduced damage, but longer duration. So if you're good at sneaking in a Megaflare dodge in the middle of combat and being able to do it with low downtime, you can get just as much value out of it without having to charge to level 4 megaflare each time.
Every video really is a beauty to watch, the dedication and skill that goes into making it really is unmatched. Keep doing ur thing Ongbal the ff16 content is 🔥.

Nice to see somebody keep Garuda for the endgame. I like her moveset because I love using Deadly Embrace on partially staggered marks and bosses to get a few extra hits in. Plus her aerial combo options and the stagger damage on Wicked Wheel.
Deadly Embrace is great, the other abilites are pretty lack luster IMO, once you get Impulse from Bahamut there's not much point running high stagger damage abilitys anymore

It's so refreshing to see someone usin' my favorite combo of abilities, Satellite + Megaflare, for once! People forget that Taunt is in the game, so you can basically make enemies attack you for that Megaflare Dodge and recharge the bar as fast as this example on every battle, and you can Taunt while chargin' Megaflare as well (all that while also passively dealing damage to the Will bar with Satellite). Second best ability for passive damage (after Lightning Rod) and people completely sleep on it, GREAT HUNT!!
Don’t you have to be actively casting magic for satellite to attack? During mega flare channel you’re passive though. So how is it ‘all the while chipping away at their will gauge’? Would love to know, as I want to incorporate satellite into a build.
@@Regianldo56 Satellite's description says it procs during Megaflare's charging, you just have to continuously press Triangle during _'tho you can't cast any magic when you press, Satellite will shoot normally anyway
That's precisely my end game playstyle. I also equip the ring which shortens charged magic time, so it gets even more dynamic. Charge satellite, release and hit Torgals precision sic, after that shoot a spell once so satellite does a burst to keep enemy on air while Torgal recovers, then charge it again, release and hit it with another precision sic. Rinse and repeat. If I'm going against regular mobs, I'll just release Megaflare on lvl 1 and follow it with upgraded Diamond Dust and any other AoE ability I may have equipped in the other Eikons. It obliterates everything always.
