This is awesome! I thought to use my Pi5 for printing with my Snappic/DSLR rig, then found your video. I wonder if you can bypass the GLINet router and just install connectify/speedify on the RPi? Looking to reduce hardware inside of my booth!
Wonderful tutorial! For some reason, I cannot simultaneously print and use other photo booth features such upload to cloud or SMS. I have to disconnect from the wireless network ever time to make it work again. Any ideas or workarounds?
Thanks for your video! Just a hint, because i got stuck on this: sudo usermod -a -G lpadmin (your username for raspberry pi) Its not IP (like IP-Adress) with a capital i (like Island), its a smal l (like Lake). Seems to be the shortcut for line printer?!
Thanks for the video. This works great. I am having one issue. I have a DS620. I can only print 2x6 from lumabooth no matter what I set in cups. Do you have any ideas? Thanks.
I’m getting the same outcome. It only prints to 2x6. I changed the printer settings in CUPS to 4x6 but still only prints to 2x6. Any solution found yet?
This is great! Works with my DNP Ds620A. The only thing that isn’t working is printing 2x6. I have luma setup to do 2x6 and print 2 per page but when I select 2 prints only 1 is printed. If I select 4, 2 are printed. Any idea how to fix this?
Hopefully others who have this same issue will see this as well but after a lot of testing I found a solution. In lumabooth > Print Layout, I have set the paper size to 2x6 600 by 1800 px and UNCHECKED print 2 per page. In CUPS, I have set the default to 2x6 300x300 resolution and everything seems to be working correctly. Thanks again for your video! It was a great help!
Hi, does anyone know if this can work with my Hiti P510 or P525L?
Great job thank you a lot. It worked smoth and easy. I'm happy that I can use my old Kyocera FS1300 also from Iphone and Ipad.
Thanks, good job! it worked flawless on my 2012 canon MP495. Keep up the videos!

I haven't tried those but there is alternatives available.

Hi Ivan, do you know if this is possible with a Mitsubishi K60 dysub printer?

This a CUPS issue. I'm still trying to find the command to allow the 2x6 cuts. 4x6 is the default method as of now.

@@NomagramStudio just tried this and it doesn't work for me.
