I really like your videos .. lots of tips and tricks. I'm not a artist in the least but trying to get started with note taking on my surface and these have helped me
Great video ! thank you! If you can afford the Surface Pro, it's the obvious choice for artists on the go. I'm a digital artist . I love my surface . That you can run Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Corel, Krita, everything...run games...do so much more - makes it much better value imo. Purely on the art side... I might still recommend a professional drawing tablet . I have a XP-Pen Artist 24 Pro drawing tablet with screen 24" and I use it for drawing in Illustrator and like it a lot! Definitely do not regret the purchase, it saves me hours in terms of workflow.
Would the pen tool work well on the right side too? I’m asking cause I’m lefty and will definitely get this app once my surface arrives. Great channel, congrats. Already subbed! :)
So anyone reading this please info would be helpful.i just bought the surfacebook 3..since I'm not just getting it for drawling ..but would love to get into digital drawling instead of just paper. What apps are the best ? And have you had experience with the surfacebook 3?
Your videos and tools have been exceptionally helpful for efficiency. I just can’t find how you used the tablet pen tool app to set the lasso select too for the pressed down tip function. If you could guide me or explain much appreciation! Thank you
Lol I should have been more specific, I meant for One Note. I went through your Purple artist pad videos but couldn’t find how you programmed the press down tip to be the lasso select tool. I just commented on your latest video instead of 8 month old ones assuming it may get attention quicker
Hey Tablet Pro, I've switched over to Clip studio paint instead of messing with Corel Painter. Hopefully Microsoft or Corel can fix this down the road. I was really debating on returning my SP7 and getting the SP6 instead but I've heard that the 7 is more powerful?? Idk. What's your opinion? Anyway, I'm having issues setting up the tilt on my clip studio brushes. The "tilt graph" doesnt seem to be doing much. Can you make a video showing how to adjust the pen pressure and tilt on brushes inside clip studio paint?? Thanks again for all the informative videos. Excited to see what you upload.
tablet pro pen tool remapping recently stopped working for me in photoshop. I've had the button on my surface pen remapped to ALT but now instead of color picking it is brush resizing. I have the double click settings disabled and all the other steps of troubleshooting that usually works but no luck this time around.
Hit “win key” type control panel - open control panel .. pen and touch. Turn on/off use side button as right click. Right click plus alt does resize. Left + alt does color picking. That’s what I think is going on.
@@TabletPro thanks for the feedback although I'm afraid that did not solve it this time. Even with "use the pen as right click equivalent" turned on or off it still registers as a right click for some reason.

I have the Surface Pro 7 i5, and when using the Renaisser or MS Surface Pro pen while drawing, the "system" glitches if I draw a line longer than 2 inches, and either skips a section (blank section), or simply deletes the entire line (or fill coloring). Mostly, it just deletes what I was drawing. The "Red X" of my application (PS or Concepts app), flickers as though the Windows 10 system is overloading. Nothing I do with settings or updates or anything, fixes this issue. Any suggestions? Very difficult to draw as an artist when I can only draw 1 inch long lines at a time

I think it’s better than procreate in most ways if used with Tablet Pro. Definitely faster by a large margin in every aspect. Going to take you longer to learn most likely though.
Thanks for the video. I bought the SP7 but I cant use the pen on painter 18. I changed the tablet settings but it's still not working. Is it because I'm using corel 18 or is it the SP7? I'm about to buy the SP6 after watching you use corel painter on it in your old video. PLEASE HELP!! I want to figure ot out and trade it in before it's to late.
I don’t think that it would be the Surface Pro 7 keeping the pen from working but can you share more info? Is the pressure not working or the pen not working entirely? Which stylus are you using?
I'm using the newer surface pro pen. My SP7 is a i5,8GB,256GB. The pen draws dots instead of lines. When I first downloaded painter I was able to make it draw lines but it didn't have the pressure sensitivity. That's when I went to the tablet settings and turned it to RTS instead of wacom, and then Windows multi touch. After changing the settings the pen is acting up. I restarted the program and everything. Have you used the windows pen on painter 18 or 19 with your surface pro 7?
There are three I would recommend. Leonardo, Autodesk Sketchbook, and Photoshop. The first two would be downloaded via the microsoft store. Go to the search bar in your task bar at the bottome, and search "store", then open the store and search for those two apps. The last one, Photoshop, and be directly downloaded from Adobe Photoshop's website via your web browser. Leonardo and Photoshop are paid products, while Autodesk Sketchbook is free.

They have sent me a month and a half of we are working on it, the new tech will handle your case, shuffling around and we are on vacation but your request is very important to us emails. It's going slowly and with no real signs of a fix yet. I hope that they can fix that and the HID spamming problem so I can use the pen tool again on my sp7
@@TabletPro Thank you very much for the reply! It's unfortunate how they leave this issue unfixed for so long, when the pen input is their main selling point. Obviously proffessional users who rely on it are not their main customors though. And the issue stays unnoticed to the many who only use the pen occasionally for notetaking if at all. In terms of specs (Quad-Core + iris graphics) I'm afraid the older surface pros can't compete with it... what do you think? I guess I will switch to ipad and sidecar. Astropad will finally release a windows version soon. Have you ever considered expanding tablet pro to the ipad/macOS since macOS using sidecar lacks in touch functionallity?
Pressure sensitivity works on the Surface Pro 7. It’s not always visible in all types of lines but some are horrible. Depends on what your trying to do
