Finally! Someone compared the two versions. Thank you. Question, did these come out together, or is the 32 Ohm new? Can't figure out why EVERY other reviewer did not mention it. I had no idea until I saw on Amazon you can pick from 2 versions.

For those of us who use older amplifiers with only XLR, The 4.4mm plug to XLR adapter included with the FT3 is very useful.

Could you kindly compare Fiio FT5 vs FT3 ? and may be some other headphone between 300-600$.
    - Sound imaging for competitive games
    - Subbass / Bass which one is more fun and more punchy for bass head?
    - How about vocal?
    - Upgrade or mod for these pairs?
    Thx u ^^

I also have an hiby fc 4
Last question do you know the maximum power input in mW for the 32ohm version ?

I've been looking for an open back headphone under $300 with a warmer, smoother and more relaxed tonality for some time now. Not basshead, boomy or muddy. I like to work with music in the background using something that sounds good but doesn't call attention to itself so i don't get distracted. I have options with different sound signatures but i haven't found anything like what i'm discribing that's good. In iem territory, the truthear red is what does that for me. (not saying it has to have that exact sound signature) DO you think this could be it? I have the chance to buy it for $200 now. If not, do you have any suggestions?

I'd say the hd6xx with a replacing the filter pads to a mesh screen will work well, just a little clamp on head. they go for $170 regularly doing Drop's sale.

@@shouzhengyue4664 i have an hd 650 (same as 6xx) but don't want to mod it and don't like to use eq. If it had a bit more bass (extension) maybe it would fit the bill. I ended up buying the fiios. They sound as intended (with one of the pads provided), and build quality and accessories are great. However, ergonomy, confort and clamping force are not good. I guess you can't have it all...

Thanks for the review. I noticed you mentioned something regarding the 32 ohm version on Fiio's web site. I have not been able to find them on their web site . Maybe you're not in the US. Why don't reviewer's describe the music source , and any EQ being applied. I mean seriously if you listen to anything , unless it's an HD source , equalization is needed unless you like your ears to bleed from flat sources which typically sound like shit regardless of power or expensive DAC's. Here's an example, I have found several stations on Tune in Radio to have somehow worked magic and sound as good as my HD flac files that I paid for, even without any equalization . My Shanlings M6 sounds good , but has no way of equalizing any wi fi based sources , I have a little Onkyo that does though. Other wise my
Samsung A56 has Ldac and an EQ under the sound setting, when paired with a SMSL c200
or even Xduo basic SMSL M300 sounds AMAAAAAAAAZZZZZZZIING with almost any head phone, so source is all important. What is up with these headphones and the sellers on Amazon? Constantly changing names , ships from Amazon , the ships from Hocus Pokus , really strange. I have ordered a pair of the 32Ohm, but really wonder if I'm getting fakes? Espescially since they aren't even on Fiios Web site??????????????

Hi. Can the Hiby R3 II power the 350’s comfortably?

Out the 4.4mm, I would guess that it could but I wouldn't call it the most optimal 🤔

Did you do a cable swap between the two version to see if it made any difference?

Such an idiotic move to provide two completely different headphones with the same name and identical looks. Naming the new one FT3.2 would have been smart and they should _at least_ have changed the colour in order to distinguish them more easily. imo they have pretty much killed the enthusiast second hand market for these.

This is self-absorbed and useless. What we learned with all this fluff: two slightly different headphones are different. How do they really sound, are they good? Eh, who really cares, and maybe.

FiiO IEM’s are my thing, not a headphone guy. I’m surprised FiiO didn’t rename it to something similar like they do their IEM’s and not just the same name.
